This product uses battery power to track an item of your choice. You just follow the set-up instructions and place it inside of the item that you choose to track (purse, backpack, car, etc.) and it connects to your apple device and shows up on your "find my device" map. Never loose your purse again with this item. The item works well at tracking but may need a battery change at some point. The type of battery should be in the product description of this device. The device is durable and very easy to use.

Helps me keep track of my flight risk dogs. Worth the piece of mind. I tried one of the dog tracking devices; it was useless as it never could get cellular service despite paying for a subscription. This works perfectly. I was worried about my dogs accidentally ingesting one; but I found a great holder for the tags to put on a collar. I also used them for our luggage on our European trip. It’s nice to get alerts about items no longer being with you. Highly recommend

I had never had an Apple AirTag before but decided to tag my indoor outdoor kitty. That being said this was easy to connect to the find my app on my iPhone, and label it. Now I can track my cat. That being said we also just had to change the battery because it beeped. The battery try it came with lasted about 2.5 months. Changing the itself was also easy to do, and Amazon knows what batteries are needed to replace it. I literally just searched for AirTag batteries. Through the find my app I was also able to share the location with other family members who also have iPhones.

I've been a loyal fan of Apple devices for decades, but it's important to understand that the AirTag is NOT a GPS tracker, and therefore may not be the best option for keeping on your pets to find in the event they become lost. While it's conveniently set up on the Find My network, it works ONLY with Apple devices, and the Find My network range is limited because it relies on other Apple devices in the area to relay the AirTag's location. So if you're in a rural or remote area with no other or limited Apple devices around, the AirTag will be difficult to locate, if at all.

Easy to setup, easy to use, it's durable, and it's an apple product, usually they have a track record of working well with their own hardware, and this is no exception. If you’re an iPhone user prone to misplacing things, the Apple AirTag is a fantastic investment. It offers reliable tracking, excellent build quality, and intuitive functionality. While it might not be the cheapest tracker available, the seamless integration with Apple’s ecosystem makes it well worth the price.
