I was looking for a Mac to purchase for some entry-level music creation, mixing, production, etc - but also looking for something to just have for typical portable computing things I would find pretty inconvenient on a smartphone. Never owned a Mac before, so the choice fatigue was REAL. I purchased the 512GB storage, 8GB RAM model, and so far it is perfect for what I need. I have high standards for technology and performance, being in the IT field, and this laptop knocks it out of the park. The performance for what you pay for is incredible (and that's not to say this laptop is a budget system). The M1 chip more than keeps up with my audio workflows, multiple applications open, etc. MacOS is so optimized and balanced that you would never notice this device has 8GB of RAM. Initially I returned my first refurbished M1 air and got the new M3 air because I wasn't fully aware of what it was capable of. After using the M3 air for about a week, I realized it was actually TOO overpowered for what I am looking to use it for. Returned it, and got this refurbished M1 air. Bottom line, if you need something for light-to-medium creative work with amazing battery life, build quality, and something that just keeps going and going, this is a perfect choice. On to the refurbishing quality. It's perfect. The battery must've been replaced, because it has 100% health, which is awesome to see on a refurb system. The screen is perfect as well. Not even a micro scratch. Keyboard is perfect as well. All around, the system is like brand new. It was either VERY well taken care of by the previous owner, or the components were replaced to make it resellable. Either way, it's perfect in and out. Charger and cable included were aftermarket, however they are similar quality to the original charger, and work exactly the same.

I have only spent a day with the computer, but it's been a great one. I wanted to replace my 2017 i5 Intel Macbook Air due to age and lots of useage. Did my research, found the M1 and M2 base models were similar in performance/specs so decided on the M1 due to price, especially with an M1 refurb. So, it came with the macbook box looking brand new. Everything in the original box placed correctly (I don't even think the charger was ever unwrapped). But the truth lay with the battery cycle count, and it only had 20 cycles! That's about only 15 extra cycles compared to a new computer that costs $300 more. Very satisfied with the condition of the refurb. I got this particular computer from iPower Resale Inc. Great job! As for the computer itself, well, all the hype of the M1 SoC is warranted. Going from the 2017 i5 Intel to the M1 is like going from a 20 year old sedan to a brand new luxury sports car. Chrome no longer makes my computer a furnace with 5 tabs open, Microsoft Office doesn't take 90 seconds to verify and open, and my battery is refusing to drain. Apple has killed it on making their own hardware. This is what separates them from Windows based laptops (note, I love building and gaming on Windows desktops). Other fun improvements are a pretty impressive sound system for a little computer, I actually get bass from the speakers. Playing Youtube videos is seamless, no lag and great resolution. The ID touch is spot on, no delays in using it. My only complaints are the lack of MagSafe charge port, and only 2 USB-C ports that are on the same side. The industry as a whole seems to be trending into reducing external ports, but I would like at least 3. Or at least one on both sides. The charger is also the weak 30 W version, which I suggest replacing. These are minor issues though. In summary, if you are looking for a light, thin, fast, long lasting battery laptop, look no further. And get it refurbed!

I was a little hesitant about ordering a renewed laptop but I ordered regardless, and I'm so happy I did! My battery capacity is 97% which is pretty good cossidering this macbook is almost 5 years old. There are no visible scratches or dents it looks pretty much brand new so I am satisfied!

Click to play video Definitely an upgrade from my previous Mac laptop. I waited 2 months before doing this review so here we go. The screen is large and great quality when watching movies, doing work, and using large apps. Colors on screen are vibrant and sound quality is excellent and loud. Bluetooth connects easily, no issues. Touch pad works nicely, it doesn’t lag. Charger works excellent. This computer has not overheated at all (which has been amazing when laying in my bed). Fits in my book bag and great for college. This computer charges fast.15 minutes will put me at 85% and will last me a good 2+ hours. The only downside is that the keys are a little sticky. Sometimes it would be hard typing fast because the keys are stuck or you might have to push it a couple of times for the letter to type (only happened consistently with seven keys). In some ways, I think you just have to break it in. Also the touchpad is a little stiff, it doesn’t really push down you just tap it. That was definitely an adjustment because I like to click. Overall, I definitely recommend buying! I hope this was helpful.

Killer deal on a sweet laptop. It was in superb condition when it arrived and has been humming along every day since. The M1 chip is amazing.

Definitely was worth the money and perfectly reburished, runs really fast which I'm VERY happy about because I can also game on it without any problems, no scratches or breaks in it I could find. she is perfect :>

Yall the battery life is good, i am a college student and on an average day i’ve used it from 10am - 4pm and the battery life is still great and i don’t need to charge it if am using it those times. I’ve accidentally dropped it twice on hard concrete and it didn’t break, i do have a screen protector on it but it didn’t crack. There is only one minor scratch that was on the corner of the laptop but that was how it was when the laptop came it doesn’t bother me tho but apart from that i love everything about it.

Lo compré para regalo, llego justo un día antes del que marcaba. Ya he tenido varias macbook y por experiencia puedo decir que esta en perfectas condiciones, me llegó sin rayones, la pantalla, bocinas, wifi, camara, todo funciona a la perfección, llego con MacOs sonoma 14.5 y la actualicé sin problemas, viene con un cargador generico de 65W, se agradece y se entiende ya que es un equipo reacondicionado, por lo general son los que la gente devuelve y al devolver a apple solo te reciben la laptop sin cargador, así que el hecho de incluir uno se agradece. En los comentarios vi que algunos usuarios les llego con mas del 90% de bateria, en mi caso llego con 87% y poco mas de 100 ciclos de carga, en México en iShop las venden nuevas de paquete sellado en menos de lo que me costó esta, sin embargo es al contado y preferí comprarla aquí a MSI. Lo menciono para quien la quiera comprar, quizá le convenga comprarla nueva. Fuera de eso todo excelente, muy contento!

The batter health was still in the 90s, just a few scratches and chips on the top and bottom but they’re pretty mild. Works perfectly fine and I’d say worth the price.
