Best labtop I have ever used. I always had Dell or a labtop with windows. So I was on the fence about switching to a MAC. My outcome was mind blowing the way it works with my I-Phone and other Apple devices is unreal. It's endless what the Retina model can do. Everyday I can't wait to learn and see what this labtop can do. And so far it has met my expectations and not once did it not do what I needed done. At first it was hard to get use to. But once you catch on you will be surprised how user friendly and easy it is to navigate this amazing Apple creation!! Run in to a jam there tech support is impeccable. Also the Apple website will walk you through any problems or guide you to customize your Retina labtop so you get 100% pure satisfaction to fulfill your Apple experience!!! Hands down best money I have ever spent on a electronic device!!! Soon I will be upgrading because every new MacBook just gets 1000 times better and better. I received this MacBook on October 19th of last year a little less than six months ago, it was a little buggy the screen would pixelate really weirdly when it restarted but aside from that there were no other issues until two days ago it just stopped charging bought a replacement charger and it still won’t come on, chargers work in other devices so I know that the MacBook is the problem I’m very upset this is the biggest waste of 1000 dollars do not buy refurbished from amazon, it is and a huge inconvenience because I need my computer for work. If I could give this 0 stars I could. ***Update after contacting amazon*** --- And of course amazon was not helpful telling me they can't do anything and telling me to contact some third party seller when I only ordered this because it said prime and I wanted to go through amazon for something as expensive as this. In fact it was the reason I got prime in the first place. Be very wary when buying this stuff on here better to go directly through apple.

I was worried after reading mixed reviews if I should purchase it or not. However, because it was backed by Amazon Return policy I decided to take a chance. I completely love it! It comes in a generic white box with a new mac charger. It does not have any other ports except for the power port. The condition was extremely good. Compares to a brand new MacBook. It turned on well and fast. I created my own profiles, installed the new system update, etc. just like a new laptop. I haven't had any issues with the "heating up" problem that I read about. It gets warm, but I've had other laptops and all of them get warm when using for long periods of time, so the warmth that I get is considered normal for the amount of time that I leave it on. I use this computer for literally everything. College, work, homework, research, random web browsing. Speakers are great too. Added a picture, excuse my sticker and my keyboard cover, I also covered my screen, but for reference it is great.

I love this computer! I was hesitant at first because it was so cheap, but after watching reviews I purchased. It's very small and lightweight, the screen graphics are very good, it's good. The only thing I would say is the battery isn't very good. It does die a little quick, but I do think this is a great purchase!! Perfect for school!

Appearance wise, this laptop is in great shape, it looks brand new. As far as function goes, this computer is nearly nonfunctional most of the time. The battery life is extremely poor and erratic - sometimes a full charge will last 3 hours straight. other times, I will close the laptop on a full charge, open it again15 minutes later, and the battery is somehow at 10%? Today, the charger they provided with the MacBook is no longer charging the computer??? There are several keys that are stuck that I have to press extra hard when typing. The computer itself is SO slow and delayed, there is a 30-50 second wait at any given time when clicking on something. Nothing is fast. With it being used, I had expected some physical markings on the MacBook from some regular wear and tear. I had not expected the computer itself to run so slow. I am such an Apple snob and wanted a Macbook but couldn’t justify the $$ for a new one. Had I known that it would be like this, I would have saved my money, swallowed my snobby team Apple pride, and purchased a brand new PC from HP or Lenovo. Overall, I was very hopeful and ended up pretty disappointed.

Amazing product, even after a year! I Love it. Edit: It has officially been about a month since I've had this product. It's still treating me well. It's quick and reliable. Great for a college student, the mobility is amazing. It's small and thin enough to put in the note book slot of your backpack. Edit: It's officially been a year. My laptop is as fast as it was out of the box. It has truly blew my expectations out of the water. I use it everyday without a hiccup. The retina display is absolutely beautiful and screen is perfect for minimalism. I recommend to anyone looking for a great laptop for school or accessibility.

As far as appearance goes this is stunning no scratches or anything else. Using it on the other hand is a different story, I'm new to macOS so I don't have much to say about it, the speakers are amazing, but using the laptop for causal browsing (using Chrome) it gets HOT like I have to use a pillow to keep it from burning my lap, charging it while using it makes it even hotter for some reason; battery life is bad as well I get like 3 - 4 hours using it a far cry from 9 hours I expected, my iPad Air last can last 10 hours on a single charge (depends what I'm doing)! Maybe I need more time to mess around with this laptop but as of right now if it weren't for it getting hot and it's poor battery life I would've recommended this.

The computer is amazing and I would give it a higher rating if I could. The sound quality is perfect. I had a 2011 MacBook Pro before this and I had to turn the sound up all the way to hear anything at all but I only need to turn it half way on this one. The size is perfect and it's light as a feather. But tell me why a delivery service would leave a $1000 computer on your doorstep without even knocking?

El vendedor tiene una buena estrategia, coloca una piel tipo mica sobre la laptop y con esa mica no se perciben rayones y daños. Llegó con algunos raspones casi imperceptibles y le falla la tecla M. Sin embargo es un buen equipo, funciona correctamente y es como yo la necesito: ligera y compacta. Buen precio para un equipo usado, todo, fuera de la tecla M, funciona bien. Quizás solo le compraré una carcaza de plástico ya que la mica empieza a tener algunos tallones porque básicamente es una película plástica. Fuera de eso, estoy bien con esta compra.

I love the laptop I got the space grey, it works well. One of the keys (W) on the keyboard has a little difficulty pressing it and the keyboard was a little bit dirty but it was pretty easy to clean. There was also a small scratch on the back but barely noticeable. The battery is amazing it charges 100% in 30-45 mins. And the battery last me 8/9 hours of consistent internet use and YouTube video streaming. I feel like this model should be a little bit cheaper since it is 5 years old but overall not bad. My sister ordered a brand new 2019 MacBook Air for 400$ more... the single port means I had to order an adapter in order to connect usb and HDMI cables. It is extremely portable and perfect for a student
