My baby got her first rash and I almost made an appointment to get something from her doctor. But I decided to give this a try since I had it on hand already. I made sure she was completely dry when I applied this to the rash and within 3-4 days, it was gone. We use this healing ointment religiously as a diaper cream substitute. My oldest had a wicked rash just out of the hospital after her birth and other highly rated diaper creams weren’t doing us any favors. I tried this and within 6 hrs the dark red and worn down skin was visibly on the mend. She had a completely healthy bottom by the end of day 3. Since then (almost 5 years ago) we put this ointment after every single diaper change (we now have a 10 month old). My youngest has NEVER had a diaper rash and I guarantee it’s due to this product. I have gifted it to every new mom I have had the privilege to celebrate and try my best to convince them to use this from the start. Don’t bother with any other diaper cream (even Aquaphor’s version of diaper cream), forget the butt paste, forgo the Vaseline/petroleum jelly products (they don’t breathe at all) and ONLY USE AQUAPHOR HEALING OINTMENT. It will not only save you the hassle of trial and error, but your baby’s skin will be as clear, fresh, and soft as when they came straight from the womb. (it’s also great for dry skin, lips, mild eczema patches, chapped noses from pesky colds, and lathering on dry calloused feet (covered by socks) overnight)
