my sonicare finally bit the dust after several years of use. I need an electric toothbrush due to my history of gum disease, so I tried a couple of cheaper battery operated ones (like the gleem, which isn't terrible, but not nearly as powerful as the sonicare was). The aquasonic has a few more features for the price than the sonicare, so I thought I would give it a try; the ADA approval helped, of course. While this has several settings, I will likely just use the "clean" setting for the most part, but it seems to work quite well, leaving my teeth feeling clean. The soft bristles don't irritate my gums but I believe they are getting them clean. My next dentist visit will give me a better indication of how effective it is. If there are any issues, I will update the review.

This only needs to be charged about once a month! It’s amazing! It’s affordable and gives extra replacement heads. Cleans well. I’m sold! I’m sticking with this toothbrush. I was afraid to try it having only used another brand all my life but it was totally worth it.

I've been using this sonic brush for the past couple of months and all I can say is "wow"! I love everything about it - the sleek black design, silky and solid feel in the hand, ergonomics, and most of all the gentle but powerful cleaning and polishing for the teeth and gums. This brush comes with a charging base, but once fully charged it can be kept in the plastic case and used several times daily for about a few weeks before needing another charge. It's great for home and travel use. The long neck on the brush head helps reach deep into the mouth for cleaning behind the molars or other hard to reach places. The provided 8 brushes should last a couple of years (if changed every three months). The brush is gentle on the teeth whether in any of the four modes - cleaning, soft, whitening and massage, but you can feel it thoroughly clean the teeth with its powerful motor. This brush is a great companion to a cordless Water Pik, which I also have and love.

This is a nice electric toothbrush for the money. I have been using Sonicare for the last 20 years, and figured I would try this one. Nice build, plenty of extra brush heads, and everything you need. This electric toothbrush is not quite as powerful as the Sonicare, but it still does a great job. Just want folks to know it is a bit gentler on your teeth and gums.

This tooth brush is the best. It has four modes from clean, whitening, soft and massage. It really does the best job of cleaning all the spots of your mouth. The brushes last a long time if you let the brush do the work and don’t press hard on your teeth. I actually bought this toothbrush and was excited so I told my significant other, later they order a toothbrush all excited that it was so awesome and it was the same one! The only downfall is , after you go through the brushes that it comes with, the heads are expensive. I just purchased ANOTHER toothbrush kit because it was CHEAPER than buying 6 heads. Still the best toothbrush I’ve ever owned though. Oh, and it has an auto shut off and halfway through brushing it will stop a second to let you know you’re near the end of brush timing.

I bought the Aquasonic after my $200 Sonicare broke. It was VERY loud around 8 months and the seals had completely failed on the top of the brush just after a year of twice a day use. That shouldn’t be happening! I wasn’t interested in spending another $200 for maybe another year. That’s around $16 a month for nothing special in terms of quality. I was pleasantly surprised by the Aquasonic! I’m at a year now and I have had zero problems. It still works and looks like day one! I went into this thinking I could by one ever few months and still be below the price of a Sonicare, however I have far surpassed that. One thing I did miss at first is the pressure sensor on sonicare, however I rarely triggered it and unless you really really need a reminder to not brush hard I don’t think you will either. Also who need brushing statistics.. for a maybe a day that’s neat to see, after that it’s useless. Brush and floss! Just do the job! A couple of tips with aquasonic or even sonicare: I did see an image of someone’s that melted while charging, which made me very nervous. Not sure if that was related to moister or a wiring issue, however I make sure to always rinse the brush (not into the charging port) and then towel it off before putting it on the stand. I also only charge when needed, which seems like every couple weeks or so. Wiping it off also helps to keep the stand and the brush clean, as well as to avoid any issues with water when charging. If you know you’re going to charge it that day, maybe be extra cautious about water near the bottom charging port and it should be just fine. The other thing that may bother some clean freaks (me) is the area under the removable brush and the buttons. To help keep these areas clean use your old brush when replacing and scrub off any build up with some toothpaste or soap. Then put your new brush on. The buttons (if you have a black version) are a little harder to make look clean. If the brush doesn’t get it all try using a toothpick or small paper clip to just go around the recessed button areas with some water and scrap build up out. I do this every time I replace the brush so it’s by no means an annoyance. It keeps the brush looking brand new. That attached image is cleaning the buttons with only the old brush before replacing, for reference of what I could clean just doing that. My conclusion, this brush far exceeded my expectations. The price savings is WELL worth it considering it requires the same care/maintenance, yet it's quality is surpassing Sonicare for a fraction of the price! 3 YEAR UPDATE: I'm now at over 3 years with this toothbrush and it still looks and works like new. I use it in the shower, rinse it underwater after every use, and use it 2-3 times a day. The only thing that is maybe suffering at this point is the battery (lasts about 1.5 weeks now), but I also only charge it when the red charging light comes on. If you leave it on the charger stand daily this may never be an issue for you. This is truly a great product for the price and I would recommend it to anyone. I had originally felt that if it lasted as long as my sonicare it would save me some money, but at this point it has surpassed my sonicare by 2+ years for a fraction of the price! You can see I purchased it in 2021 and it's now later 2024. I hope this helps you with your choice of what brush to get and that your experience is as good or better than mine.

Die Zahnbürste ist sehr gut. Ich hatte bisher eine sehr teure Philips Sonicare ( 200 Euro ) die war noch einen ticken besser ist allerdings nun nach 3 Jahren kaputt. Eigentlich unfassbar bei dem Preis. Die Aquasonic hat alles was man braucht , verschiedene Programme reichlich Ersatz Bürsten. Einen Akku der locker 2-4 Wochen hält je nachdem wie oft man sich die Zähne putzt. Ich bin bisher super zufrieden und hoffe sie hält ein paar Jahre

I’ve been using a standard electric toothbrush for a decade. I’d heard about the ultrasonic toothbrush technology, but thought it was a hokey fade. When this model went on sale, I thought I’d give it a shot as my existing toothbrush was out of heads anyway. I’m so happy that I did! It makes an extraordinary difference in the cleanliness of my teeth. It’s so powerful that I started to get some sensitivity after a few days of brushing with it on Whiten mode. I went down to Sensitive mode for a few days and then was able to work my way back. This leaves my teeth feeling like I’ve had a cleaning at the dentist. It’s solid and high-quality. The handle feels great in my hand, and I really like the 30 second time indicator on a 2 minute brushing session. A full charge lasts me about 20 days, but that may be because I like to brush my teeth 3 times a day. This is a great buy! Not only are my teeth whiter and cleaner, I also know that it’s improved my overall teeth hygiene and that I’ll need fewer units of scaling on my next dental hygiene visit. No need to spend $200 plus on a toothbrush like this. This brush is a bargain and I’m sure it does the same job.
