I recently purchased the Asani Level 1 & 2 EV Charger for my Tesla Model Y, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This charger supports both 110V and 240V outlets, providing great flexibility whether I'm at home or on the road. The NEMA 6-20 and NEMA 5-15 adapters make it compatible with various outlets, which is incredibly convenient. The compact design of the Asani charger makes it easy to take anywhere. It fits neatly in my car's trunk, allowing me to charge my Tesla wherever I go without worrying about finding a compatible charging station. At 16 amps, this charger provides a speedy charge, significantly reducing the time compared to standard chargers. It’s great for those days when I need a quick top-up to get going. With 110 volts it took around 16 hours to charge 35%. I guess it’s a great secondary back up if house is not capable to install 240 volt like me. The charger feels sturdy and well-constructed. The cables and connectors are robust, ensuring they can withstand frequent use without any signs of wear or tear. Setting up and using the Asani charger is straightforward. The clear instructions and plug-and-play design mean I can start charging my vehicle quickly and hassle-free. Given its versatility and quality, the Asani charger offers excellent value. You need this for your trunk! Don’t get stranded! I bought this to use when traveling and staying with relatives or friends. As with any charger 🔌 with a standard plug, it’s going to take several hours or even overnight to get a good recharge. However, it really beats trying to track down charging stations! This saved me from inconveniencing my relatives because I would’ve had to have someone follow me to a charging station and leave my car unattended for hours. (Not to mention the safety aspect leaving car unattended, even at a “quick charge” station in an unfamiliar town.) This will charge you up enough to get from a relative’s or friend’s house to a quick charge station without worry. You could even plug it in at a convenience store or even a police/fire station in an emergency. I’m sure they would understand and let you use some electricity. It’s easy to use and goes back in the included case/bag. It’s smaller than a carry on! It’s a must have if you own an EV and don’t want to spend $1,000 on the manufacturer brand. (This works on all EV’s except Teslas, but I think there are adapters for that too on Amazon.) I also know it works for Volvo vehicles.

I've had this for about 6 months now and have had no issues with it. One of those basic items that just needs to work, and it does. My last two residences both had Level 2 chargers in the garage, which was a nice convenience. I moved to a house that doesn't and I don't want to invest in installing one here. Happily, I have a plug-in hybrid (Ford C-Max Energi) that has a very small plug-in battery. So, when I use a Level 2 charger, I'm full in 1.25 hours. This one takes almost 3 hours. So, this solution is a MUCH cheaper and only slightly inconvenient alternative. The other benefit is that it's easy to just throw it into the car if I ever take a trip.
