Very nice and sturdy and works well for scraping and brushing. It separates in the middle for storage in the bag if you really need to save space, but you are just changing the footprint. These aren't that big to begin with, so I just leave it assembled. It is lighter than i expected, but it has help up and done its job twice already. Lives up to its reputation

The snow brush has a very squishy foamy comfortable handle and it’s in two pieces so you can just use the scraper if you want and then the other side has the snow brush, you can put them together so then I was trying to put them together and I couldn’t get them to go together because they’re really stiff and then I finally was able to snap it together. And, now that it’s together I don’t even want to bother trying to take it apart — so it’s now in its large form. And it came with a little cinch bag that you could take it apart and put the pieces in there and store it in its bag in your car if you wanted to but—Only if you can get the two pieces apart. LOL

Well thought out design and making them two pieces with a bag to put them in. This keeps them protected, organized, and ready to use. You can either use the scraper or brush independently or snap them together to give you further reach for both. My wife bought us two of these and we both love them. This would make a great gift too. Most people either lose them when they get put away for the Spring and Summer or they get broken because the lay out in the open. With the protective bag and each piece of the AstroAI 27" Snow Brush and Ice Scrapers for Car Windshield, Detachable Snow Scrapers they are far less likely to be lost or broken. I love this product during the cold months. If fits into the bag and sits in my boot without taking up to much space. The scraper does a great job with removing ice from windows, and the brush does really well with removing snow from the roof of my car. This product is also longer than most competitors, meaning you don't need to stretch over your car to scrape/brush further areas.

I read all the reviews, I wanted a higher quality snow brush with a bigger grip and longer reach. I did wonder about being in two parts held together by a plastic clip and yup, it broke right there after two days. There’s another similar brush on here but that’s in two parts two. Very strange design choice.
