It's way better than the previous one that we have. It didn't overheat when inflating tires. It's quieter. It automatically shuts off when it reaches the preset pressure. I can use a standard electrical cord to get to all of the tires. The cords wrap away conveniently instead of being a jumbled rat's nest. It's a great buy. If you have an electric car, it pays for itself, and you don't have to pay for air at your closest gas station. If you have a gas powered car, it's just convenient to use so that you don't have to go the gas station when you find that the tire pressure is low on a cold morning.

This portable air compressor is just what I needed. Not too big and bulky (other brands make them bigger to appear more powerful). The casing is a thick durable plastic. Even being plastic, it feels very durable. Both a car lighter, and a wall socket plugin for convenience. I haven't had any overheating issues. It can air up anything from a basketball to a Jeep tire. I haven't had a flat, but from my experience using it I'd guess it could air my Jeep tire from 20 to 35 PSI in 2 minutes. Unless all of your tires are completely flat, this thing can top off your tires without even getting hot. Now we'll see how long it can last. Literally no cons in my opinion. One small gripe is that the additional tips are threaded as if they screw into the nozzle but you really just push them in and the rubber lining on the inside of the nozzle holds them in place. After wear and tear it's possible the seal might not hold up but we'll see. All around, for only 40$, it's worth it to not have to stop at a gas station and pay for air. Highly recommend.

The AstroAI 150 PSI tire inflator arrived today. It was well packaged--cushioned box inside of a shipping box. I immediately tested its ability to top off a large P255/65R18 tire on my Chevy Traverse. Tried it first using AC power, and then repeated the test using the 12V plug. Before starting each test, I manually deflated the tire from the 32 PSI nominal pressure to 25 PSI. The inflator worked well in both trials taking about 2.5 minutes to increase the tire pressure from 25 to 32 PSI. Auto shut-off worked fine and stopped the inflator when the desired pressure was reached. I like the length of the air hose--with the inflator sitting on the ground next to the tire, the hose could reach the valve stem in any position. The exterior surfaces of the inflator are mostly hard plastic and seem like they might not be the most robust. (I plan to keep it in the cushioned box when carrying in my car. One feature that could be better: I found I had to get my eyes down pretty close to the ground in order to clearly ready the inflator's display screen which is oriented in a semi-upward direction--I wound up laying the unit on its back to clearly view the displayed pressure while it was inflating. It would be better if the display were oriented so it could be read from directly above the unit. Unknown is the inflator's longevity.

Compact and extremely easy to use. It works really well; it inflated my Honda Odyssey's tire from 26 psi to 33 psi in less than a minute. Lovely design, automatic switch-off is a great feature. I am very happy with the purchase, hope it lasts long! Highly recommended.

I keep vehicles in 2 different garages, one of which has an air compressor. I bought this for the other garage, and it has worked well. I like the dual power supply, as a wall outlet is not always available. The quick release vs a screw on fitting is also a plus. Gauge seems fairly accurate.

I was quite surprised by the ease of use of the pump (car tire mode) and rapid increase inPSI (16 > 34 PSI) in my VW Golf steel rim mounted tires using 110v AC power. Additionally It was not necessary to remove the 'tricky to properly re-install' stock wheel covers. However, I did not read instruction or did not notice) that the two toggle mode switches were three position with off in middle. The metal hose to tire stem clamp is a 'joy' to use compared to the prior struggle to seat my bicycle pump plastic stem connector. I inflated my four tires to required PSI in less than 2 minutes per tire while moving the pump to each tire. I am very happy with my initial experience with this product. I did not come near the 15 minute unit run time restriction. The pump did not get hot to the touch and It was much quieter than anticipated (rated at 65db per documentation).

I was choosing between this product and another one with lithium rechargeable battery as sole source of power. With automobile roadside assistance available out there, one doesn’t really need a tire inflator not unless you’re out camping a lot or if you’re the adventurous type and frequently drive to off the grid places. My car tires usually deflate only during winter time, 3 months out of the year and I may not even have to inflate the tires more than 2x during the season. Saving myself the trip to a service station is reason enough for me to invest on a good, reliable tire inflator that offers multiple power source options. With this machine, I was able to inflate a tire from my own carport from 28 psi to 32.5 psi in 45 seconds, 4 tires in less than 3 mins., no issues with the machine getting hot. I didn’t have to drop coins, I didn’t have to waste gloves from otherwise having to handle a gadget that’s held by everyone’s hands in town and more importantly, the machine works perfectly. I cannot speak of the product’s longevity as of yet because I’ve only had it for a week but I would imagine it will last for years with proper handling and storage. They also have this inflator with 3 power source option, price is almost 2x more but I believe it’s well worth it. I’m getting one too, just waiting for it to go on sale.😬 I wished it came with a protective hard shell storage bag. By the way, you can tuck the cables in to the machine.

Such a cool little device you'll be looking for excuses to use it! For home car and bike use, this is a great little compressor. It also does the trick for tubeless mtb tire mounts, as it will clamp on a presta valve with core removed if held in place. There are some CONS - The clamp valve is cheap and feels very fragile. It doesn't always seal well, as it has no screw-seal like you see on mountain bike floor pumps. The included Presta adapter doesn't screw into the valve's provided threads; you can just push it in, and so it leaks a little. Also, unlike other models, the compressor hose cannot be removed, which means you cannot add a longer air hose, and it has no NTP connection, so you cannot add a dedicated tire inflator gauge. This also means that when the air hose and clamp valve wear out, the entire unit will have to be replaced.
