I am very impressed and the quality of this reel! The hoses are quality, the nozzles are more plastic and not as nice but can always be changed. The hose is fairly easy to walk out but requires a little force and it does lock nicely once you know how to set it. It retracts even better and can actually pull you with it. It never tangles or kinks. Very happy with it. Highly recommend it.

Great hose reel for my dock, I have two boats and this makes it easy to use on which ever boat on either side of dock. Hose doesn’t mark up fiberglass. The hose nozzles are plastic but I love the skinny nozzle as it works great. Will continue to use until it breaks. Con, after a few months using I had a hard time getting the hose to retract back in. Sent John an email with video and he got me out another unit right away! Thanks for the great support!

Update: Company contacted me and they are sending me a whole new hose real!! Product worked great for a couple of months but then it wouldn't retract the hose all the way. After tearing into it I found that the plastic part inside that guides the hose had broken.

Bought this hose reel a year and a half ago and maybe used it 15 times and it has began to leak from the spigot side to the hose reel. Took the cover off and saw that the lead hose to the reel was not connected anymore because the plastic fitting had broke off inside of it. Should be able to last longer than this given the price we paid for it ($210 after tax at time of purchase). We have multiple of these and they have all been great but am disappointed that this one has failed already.. this has a 24 month warranty, will see if they honor it and update review afterwards

This is the third one I own, thought the 5/8 line would be 5/8’s all the way down the line which it’s not. Disappointed. Especially when it’s $150 you’d expect it to be. Other than that it works extremely well. I’ve had my original one for two years with no problems and I use it from April- October daily
