Very easy to install. Ends screw in place and you adjust tension for a tight fit. I bought this for my outside deck so my dogs can lay outside without being leashed. It can be easily moved from one doorway to another and it is made well. It keeps my 2 pit bulls from getting through. I’m sure it would work great for small children.

We absolutely love this brand of baby gates. We have tried several brands and this has been the one that fits our needs the best. We have an autistic toddler so keeping certain areas of the house blocked off for his safety is essential and these gates have been lifesavers. They look nice and are easy for adults to open, but not our son. They are reasonably priced, sturdy, easy to install and keep our child safe. They are stable when our son leans against them and tries to open them. We have cats and they are still able to get where they need to be.

We needed a gate to separate our dogs from my mother-in-law who we just moved in (hospice). This gate is well made and adjustable. My husband was able to remove part of it and it work’s perfect. It’s a little taller than the average doggie gate. I love that you can lift up on the the latch and the gate will swing open in either direction. Well worth the money.

Our stair opening is 40" which seems to be problematic opening size for this gate. While it "can fit", the gate is not safe with the included hardware. The only way for this to fit was to extend the threaded pieces way out to the point they were hardly engaged. With a hard bump, the gate came detached and fell. Luckily it was my wife that hit it and not my son. Also luckily I have access to design and 3d printing so I made some new spacers to fit in the wall cups (last photo). Possibly if you bought some aftermarket cups ("wall protectors") those could act as spacers. I gave this 3/5 because that definitely a safety concern the manufacturer did not address. Another thing they could have done was provide a table with your opening size and what combo of spacers to use, but that's easy enough to figure out with trial and error. The gate itself works good though.

Was great for the first day until my small dog learnt to jump over it. Not high enough for a dog fence. There is no height extenders either for this product so now it doesn’t work at all.

After following the instructions, the gate wouldn’t unlock on the bottom lock and top lock wouldn’t latch at all. Seemed like a sturdy design too. Rather disappointed.

Absolutely love this baby gate! The pressure-mounted system is genius. Super sturdy without drilling into the walls. Had it for over a year now. It was quick to install and holds up perfectly, even with our toddler pushing on it. On top of that, the customer support was incredible. It's the best baby gate I've installed, as it is solid and works perfectly. You just need to set it up correctly - make sure it is firmly in place, and then snip the zip ties. But if you screw up and need to re-set it (after snipping the zip ties), you'll quickly see that the gate will need to be fastened back as it was... but this is best done with a clamp - easy done. You can use the spare zip ties they provided to hold it fastened, or simply leave the clamps on as you set the whole unit in place.

Everything about this gate is excellent. We brought home a Great Dane 11 months ago. I installed first one to keep her in tiled pantry (she was little back then!). Easy install, solid gate, with great “latching” when it auto-closes (adjustable). Loved it so much I bought two more….. we have both pantry doors gated and one controls staircase down to basement. All working so well, we will keep them in place…. cats can jump over, but generally do not, and Dane has never tried to scale, or even lean against them. But what impresses me is the solidness ….. because gate frame is wedged into door jams, it is held in place solely by bottom rung on the floor. It works well!
