[Updated review, Sept 2023] I'm still very happy with these packing cubes. They've been on about ten trips and they still look and feel new. I threw them in the washing machine once when they'd absorbed the smell of dirty laundry, and they made it through the wash intact and clean. I used a mesh laundry bag to contain them during the wash since I didn't want the zipper pulls to get caught and damage the cubes or my machine. Would still recommend these cubes to any traveler looking for a starter set. [Original review, Nov 2022] I've started traveling more recently, and I finally decided to follow the common travel advice to use packing cubes. I thought, surely it doesn't make THAT big a difference, does it? It does. Even without compression, packing cubes allow you to be more organized and efficient, which makes for a better travel experience. Need to open your luggage at the airport? You can easily find what you need without dumping everything on the ground. Unpacking at the hotel? A breeze - just grab the cube handles and plunk the cubes directly into drawers. I didn't know what I'd been missing. They're perfectly sized to fit in standard carry-on luggage (one of each size per carry on, so a six-cube set is enough for two people). The cube handles are nice when unpacking - you can grab everything all at once - and the mesh panels allow things to breathe a bit during travel. I roll my clothes and can fit one layer of rolled items in each cube. My clothes did wrinkle, but that's to be expected when traveling, not a big deal. At the end of your trip you can roll up all your dirty clothes and repack them into these cubes... which you can then unzip and empty directly into the washing machine upon arriving home. So far these seem sturdy and I don't have any concerns about durability - not even the mesh panels. I bought these less expensive cubes thinking I'd give them a shot and then upgrade to something better if I liked the concept... but they're quite good and I can't think of what would need to be upgraded, so I'm just going to keep using these!

This was a great buy! I bought the set of six Bagail packing cubes in 3 sizes. They arrived very quickly, and did have an unpleasant odor as some other reviewers noted. The instructions say to hand wash but who has time for that - I washed them in my front loader on the delicate cycle and they came through like a champ. I air-dried them outside overnight and they were dry the next day, perfect and odorless. If your washer has an agitator, you might want to hand wash them if yours also arrive with an odor. I used my cubes for two separate back-to-pack vacations. One large/ medium/ small bag combo fit nicely in my overhead bag, with room to squeeze in a pair of shoes and lingerie bag. The small bag is great for either lingerie or toiletries, and the carrying handle makes it extra-great for toiletries. By rolling clothes, I packed more in the cubes than I'm usually able to pack, and since they didn't move around the clothes hardly wrinkled at all. It was much easier to live out of my suitcase with my clothes neatly sorted into pants cube and shirts/blouses cube. The burgundy color is very attractive and dark enough not to show color. The mesh is sturdy and enough so you can see what's in the cube without the cube losing its shape. The zipper is very sturdy and was able to handle some overstuffing. I am extremely pleased with this purchase - a great buy for the money!

TLDR; A very handy set of luggage organizers that punch far beyond their modest price-point. After my old soft-shell suitcase finally fell apart at the seams, I ended up purchasing a new 25-inch hard shell from Travelpro. While casually browsing for accessories, I came across these organizers and thought "Hey, they're only 17 bucks, might as well give them a try". Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from these, especially given that the name brand alternatives were double or triple the price. Boy was I surprised. The actual material that the bags are made from is quite thin, unlike the much thicker polyester ripstop that you might find on Patagonia's Black Hole series or packing cubes. However, in my opinion, this is totally fine as it keeps the organizers light and easy to store when not in use. The mesh on the top of the organizers also appear adequately strong. The zipper does appear to be the weak-point, but as long as you don't overstuff the cube, you won't have to worry about it failing. The main advantage of these organizers lies in their sizing. With a 25-inch suitcase, you can comfortably fit 2-3 different combinations that will lie flat. Furthermore, the depth of the organizers allow for you to stack two layers comfortably if you suitcase can accommodate it. The smaller, narrow bags are great for underwear, socks, and accessories while the medium sized bags are great for shirts. Meanwhile, the larger bags are great for pants, dress shirts, and even shoes. Overall, I would give this purchase a strong 5/5 rating. For what you are paying, you really can't expect much more than what this packing set offers. Sure, if you overstuff the bags, the zipper WILL fail. However, as long as you take good care of them, I know these organizers will last for many trips.

Packing cubes are a must have for travel! They help keep everything neatly organized and easy to find in your suitcase. The quality of the material is excellent—durable, well-stitched, and built to last. They make packing and unpacking so much more convenient. The only downside is that they don’t compress, so if you’re looking to save space, they may not be the best option. However, for staying organized and keeping clothes clean when using hotel drawers they’re fantastic!
