This really saved us when our electricity went out for a weekend. We plugged the fridge into it (19 cu ft one) and it lasted a couple days with no problem. (We used smaller power stations in other parts of the house to keep the modem going, and to charge various smaller devices.) This thing has lots of battery power, but I would suggest to prospective buyers that a couple smaller power stations in addition to this would be a handy thing to have for grid-down situations, if only because of the logistics of electrical needs in various locations within a house. BTW, this thing is heavy, 64 pounds, but it has nice handles. One person could lift it to move short distances, but a second person (or a dolly) would be helpful for longer distances. A nice feature is that it has the 30 amp outlet, so it could be used to power an RV with direct plug-in, but in our case (class C motorhome with a nearby basement storage compartment), even though it seems ideal at first glance store it in the compartment for backup power, I wouldn't want to have it jiggling around in there while driving, would much rather keep it inside to prevent the extra vibration. But then, there's the weight thing... Life is full of tradoffs.

I normally don't review expensive electronic items I purchase. Mainly for the bad karma that might be generated when something I give a good review fails. I also take both positive and negative reviews about products with a grain of salt. This review isn't so much about the product and whether it is either good or not- it's more about what the manufacturer does with a good product when it happens to stop working. But first, I'd like to state several things I like about the AC200L: No charging brick. The AC200 Max I also have uses a charger brick that's noisy and the fan never turns off. AC200L's quiet internal cooling fan. Smartphone app control with WIFI connection. Solar charging up to 1,100-watt arrays. Expandable with one B230 battery. Expandable with up to two B210 batteries (with additional cost accessory cable). B210 batteries can simultaneously charge with separate 500-watt solar arrays due to internal MPPT controller. PV (solar) Priority UPS mode which prioritizes solar charging over AC grid (user adjustable settings determine when AC grid cuts in). Two 100-watt USB C output ports. Plus, two USB A ports. One 12v DC (lighter outlet) with separate on/off button from the USB ports. ...and many other features that are too numerous to mention or I don't typically use. However, my AC200L suddenly stopped working, I called the 1-800 support number to see if there was a remedy. I stated the behavior, or lack thereof, to the representative and they indicated that somebody from Bluetti support would be contacting me soon. A day or so later, Anson the service representative assigned to the case, asked me to take a video of the unit to display what it was, or in my case wasn't doing. The next day, after Anson reviewed the video, he instructed me to securely package the AC200L (I had retained the original box and foam) and asked me to photograph the packaging so Bluetti could determine the shipping method and generate a return label. I received the label and took the box to a local FedEx. They refused shipment due to the internal batteries. This was the only hiccup in the whole process. FedEx said they would, however, allow scheduled no-cost next day pick-up from my house. I wish Bluetti would have told me this! Bluetti received the box several days later and immediately shipped a new unit out to me. I was both surprised and satisfied with Bluetti's (Anson's) speed and efficiency in the handling of my case! Nobody ever wants or expects to require service or replacement of an appliance! If you are hesitating to purchase any of Bluetti products because you either believe or have read that service after the sale will be tedious, difficult or non-existent, I'd like to put your fears to rest. I'm satisfied with the product, service and with the replacement Bluetti expedited to me.

This BLUETTI is perfect for couples RV. I purchased this over a year ago and I have not been disappointed. I installed it in my 2023 Grandesign XLS17. Plus I installed a 200 amp hour Lossigy 200AH lipo4 battery to run all my 12volt items and an automatic transfer switch. No more generators running on overnight stays at cracker Barrel.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the Bluetti AC200L Portable Power Station ( "Solar Generator" ). It works as expected and has been reliable for the past few months. I purchased the Bluetti B300K battery as well and that added another 2764.8 Wh of capacity. Installation was simply plug and play with no setup required. However, the provided cable is quite short and due to the location of the expansion ports the battery needs to be placed on the left side of the AC200L and not stacked unless the battery is turned around backwards. This is a very odd engineering and design choice. The system with added B300K battery takes up much more shelf space than anticipated. Another quirky design decision is the omission of a 30amp 12V outlet. The older AC200Max has a 12VDC 30 amp port. This was replaced by a 48VDC proprietary outlet that requires the purchase of a Bluetti D40 DC to DC converter ($199 approx). The 12VDC port on the AC200L is limited to only 10Amps. I see no logical reason to need to spend the additional money to get a high power 12VDC source. I simply wired a nearby battery or this purpose . . . I refuse to buy an expensive proprietary add-on device to connect a high power 12VDC appliance. The 48VDC port cannot be used without the D40. The use of Aviation style plugs for AC power and solar inputs is another unnecessary use of proprietary connectors. To attach solar panels to the AC200L you need to use the included adapters from MC4 connectors to ST60 connectors and another adapter from ST60 to the proprietary aviation plug are needed. A simpler approach would be to have MC4 inputs directly on the AC200L, avoiding all these adapters. These are distractors from the overall quality and utility of the unit. The Android app connections via both Bluetooth and WiFi have worked flawlessly. I can easily monitor and change setting remotely via WiFi. The connection has been stable with no connection issues for weeks at a time and provides access to all settings and useful energy usage data. One omission to the remote data is the time remaining information that is present on the front panel screen. Why this was omitted is unclear and seems like an easy to add feature. Bluetti has a full line of power stations with similar product numbering and names. This was a bit confusing when shopping and selecting the correct product for my needs. Not all similarly numbered products have the same expansion and connectivity options.

I bought the AC200L for both boondocking and for home use. I used it last week while camping at a site without any electricity and I'm happy to say that it exceeded my expectations. It ran everything in my camper with ease. I purchased 2 of the PV200 solar panels with it and they worked great restoring the AC200L's battery within 5 or 6 hours of good sunlight. I also charged it during a cloudy day by using my Honda eu2200i generator which worked out great as well. The AC200L started up my 13500 btu air conditioner no problem and I ran it long enough to cool the camper down, though it can't run it for more than 1 and a half hours or so before needing a recharge, though it was good to know that it would start and run it. My camper does not have a soft start so even more impressive. Also I really like the ups features of the unit as I can tell it when to recharge itself during offpeak hours from my power company to help save a few bucks. At home I have my computer and other electronics connected to it and run them throughout the day then it recharges itself at night. It is on the heavier side but the 2 handles really help when lifting it. I think the AC200L is a great addition for many reasons especially for camping when you can't get full service sites and also for home power outages which seem to be happening more often these days. Really like being able to charge it with my small generator quickly when there is no sun for solar charging, they make a good combo for any occasion. It's also far quieter than my little generator which is very quiet for a gas generator to begin with. Highly recommend.

I find the app a bit clunky, but the unit itself is very high quality and built to a high standard. Excellent value at the price I paid for it. Pairs nicely with the B300K battery after updating the main unit.

I got this Bluetti mostly to run my CPAP when we have a power failure. Power outages last between 6 hours to 2-3 days. I tested the Bluetti with my CPAP and it used 14% after 7 hours. I tested it with the 50" TV and accompanying set up and after 8 hours it used about 20%. I then tested it with my computer set up and the TV set up where it used 70% after 7 hours. I also tried it outside while I repaired my deck. Drill and skill saw used about 7% after 5 hours. BUT, here I was disappointed with the solar panels. Where my house is situated does not lend well to solar energy. At least not for these panels. I think there are panels that work better but I need much more education about this. All this to say, for my situation at least, I would have been better served buying battery extensions rather than a solar panel. Definitely do more research that I did. I think the Bluetti itself is fantastic!!
