I want to see him in concert and I bought this CD at his concert. I love it very much. I listen to it frequently in my car driving to and from work that puts my mind in my heart at ease

Yes, I am now in my 70's, however his voice and music touched my soul the first time I heard him. Heck, I even tried to get people on my music committee to have him come to our county fair (before, he was on top). But, no....(insert sad face). Love his voice and his music. It is a must have in my collection. I taught elementary music for 38 years and he is a favorite of mine.!

Great albulm

This CD is great, Jelly Roll is real, raw and relatable; he doesn't candy coat it and writes about real life situations/struggles in such a relateable way. I have been taken to 1 of his concerts by my Daughter ( 41) after I told her next times on me because we are going if he gets close enough... amazing show. The only reason this did not get a 5 star rating is it arrived with another CD in a envelope ( not padded in anyway which it should have been IMO ) the other CD which was not in a crystal case , it comes in paper/cardboard type ( a extra copy of Whinslett Chapel which is a FANTASTIC CD IMHO btw) was fine but this ones case was broken ( yes I keep all mine in the orgiinal cases ) , it can be returned/replaced or refunded so you know BUT in my case the closest UPS that it can be sent back from is over 40 miles 1 way from my home so it is not worth me driving nearly 2 hours and spending more in gas to do so than the CD actually cost and I can find no other way on this item to contact them ...the only other option is pick up at home and that would cost me $7.99 to replace a broken item that was not my fault but was USPS's fault( and amazons fo rnot putting them in a padded envelope.. so again not happening so here I sit with a great brand new CD with a broken case, one of the very few times in my thousands of orders that I have not been happy with the end result. Amazon is normally wondeful but in this case it just saddens me to have the case broken and no way to replace it with a unbroken one that makes cost wise sense. About the only option I can think is to spend more and buy extra cases just to get 1 to put this into. But back to JELLY... get off the fence and buy both of those CDs they are powerful filled with life,wisdom and TALENT ,Talent, Talent. God Blessed Jelly and through him is blessing us in my opinion.

Love this guy. So talented. I can't see where he has written a bad song.
