Works as advertised, so bright I had to put a wash cloth over it to stop blinding my wife when she gets up in the night!

The Beams battery activated night lights are great with very long battery light and just enough light to illuminate the stairs or a cabinet without having to turn on a big bright room light and wake everyone up. We have been using a different variety of this light, the Beams MB720, for years all over our house and have been VERY satisfied with all of them. The locations are as varied as you can imagine with several in cabinets, one in our walk-in closet and even one mounted above the toilet. Again, in all of those situations the Beams MB720 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002FCGI8Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 has been fantastic. So, why then did I replace the one I had on our staircase with this newer model, the MB710? Simple, we have two Australian Shepherds and the MB710 can be mounted so that it doesn't activate when the dogs walk by at night but still does activate when any humans do (so we can see the dog toys on the stairs and not break a leg).

My parents love these! They were having difficulty functioning at night and these were absolutely perfect, easy to place wherever they thought best, turning on when movement perceived, and quickly turning off again so as to not disturb others. Wonderful product!!

Mr. Beams MB710 LED Nightlight, Wireless, Battery-Powered, Motion-Sensing For Use In Bedroom, Stairs, Nursery, Kitchen & More, Three-Pack, White . I received these in April and loved the extra lighting on the stairs. However, about a month ago, I noticed that one of the lights had become very dim. I took it off the wall and noticed a smoke smell when holding it up close. I thought it may have been something to do with the batteries, so I replaced them with new batteries and the lights literally started smoking in my hands. Needless to say, these will not be used in our house anymore. They were on the stairs heading to our kids rooms and I would be too afraid to put them back in place.

I love these. They work great and have long battery life. My wife installed two of them in the bedroom (one on each side of the bed). The one on my side comes on when I get near my side and the same for her. After you are out of sensor range, they stay on for long enough to find the bathroom or to get in bed after you turn the lights off. There is also one in the bathroom that comes on when you enter. They are just bright enough to enable you to see and not so bright that they blind you in the middle of the night. These are extremely cool household gadgets and made standard night lights a thing of the past for us. They are definitely worth every penny.

Have used these lamps for last 9 years, very nice product. Setup along stairwells to upper floor and basement. Motion sensing is just right when moving up and down stairs, like that they are light sensitive so they don't turn on in the day. I use AAA rechargeable batteries and have to swap about monthly with a family of five moving up and down the stairs. My only issue is the battery compartment seems a bit loose, so I have to "adjust" the batteries slightly to make good contact, with that said, this could be a battery issue as well. Have a few other Mr Beams products, they make good stuff!

I’m using these in a dark hallway and they are great. Enough light to see where you are going but not enough to disturb others or wake you to much in the middle of the night. Easy to stick them up with the double sided tape included. Would 100% recommend

I bought these lights to put up in kitchen cabinets so I could see far back into a couple of very deep cabinets. They are smaller than the other Beams lights I've purchased, but are bright enough for my in-closet purpose and I like the smaller size. After I bought these, I came back just a few days later to buy another pack but the price had gone up $10. This kind of price change has happened numerous times on Amazon, and I don't know why as it makes no sense that prices would change that much and that quickly. In any case, due to the price jump I bought a pack of 5 similar lights from another brand for quite a bit less than this new cost for only 3 Beams lights.

Just the right brightness for the stairs at night. 3 lights provide great coverage for motion detection and light for 14 stairs. Easy to install don't look out of place

This is a fantastic device. I would have given it a 5-star if all work as planned. One of the three is defective. This is disappointing because this is my second order. For the first order, one of the units was defective too. I returned and reordered. Now, this is happening again. I wanted to return the defective unit and ask for a replacement unit, but I'm not sure if I can return just 1 unit. There is no way to contact the seller. Good product but bad quality control.

These are great for illuminating dark areas when walking around the hose at night. Being a senior, I appreciate the safety aspects. Easy to install and operate!

It is automatic when I get out off bed in the dark.
