I’ve owned several pool cleaning robots over the years, and they’ve all been a disappointment—none of them could climb the walls or properly clean the waterline. Keeping my bowl-shaped pool clean has always been a hassle, and I was getting tired of dealing with it. Then I decided to try this Beatbot pool cleaner, and let me tell you—this thing is a game-changer. It climbs the walls with no problem, scrubs the waterline, and actually gets the job done. After three weeks of use, I can confidently say it’s the best pool cleaner I’ve ever owned. The battery life is impressive too. My pool is 45ft * 15ft big, and this robot cleans the whole thing in one charge—no need to stop and recharge halfway through. It’s powerful, efficient, and hassle-free. If you’re tired of pool cleaners that don’t deliver, this is the one to get. Worth every penny!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this pool cleaning robot is a total game-changer! I’ve had several pool cleaners over the years, and this one blows them all out of the water (literally). First off, the biggest win for me—it floats up to the surface when it’s done. I have severe lower back pain, and with my old cleaner, I had to bend down and wrestle it up from the bottom of the pool. Not anymore! Now, I just grab it from the top of the water—so much easier. The cleaning power is insane. It scrubs, vacuums, and filters like a pro, leaving my pool spotless. It handles everything—leaves, dirt, even tough dust that my old cleaner would always miss. Yeah, it’s pricey, but honestly? It’s worth every penny. If you want a hassle-free, powerful, and easy-to-use pool cleaner, this is the one to get. Highly recommend!

After using the Beatbot AquaSense 2 for a few weeks, I figured it’s worth sharing my experience, especially for anyone on the fence. I’ve owned several pool cleaners over the years, most of them were expensive, and while they could have the job done, there’s always been something missing—either they’d get stuck, miss spots, or just didn’t handle the waterline well. This one I just bought? Really exceeded my expectations. The cleaning power is excellent. I have a medium-sized in-ground pool with some curved edges and steps, and this thing navigates everything surprisingly well. The waterline scrubbing is actually legit—it doesn’t just swipe at it once and move on. You can tell it’s doing a second pass, and the result is noticeable. The pool looks cleaner overall, especially around the edges where grime tends to build up. The setup was easy, just few minutes to get it done. And there's no cords, which is a huge plus. It’s heavy, but that’s probably part of why it climbs walls so well. The app works fine as well. I’ll admit, I was skeptical about the price. It’s not cheap. But after seeing how well it works, I don’t regret it. It saves me time, and I don’t have to babysit it like I did with previous cleaners. If you’re someone who values reliability and low-maintenance solutions, this is a solid option. Not perfect, but definitely the best I’ve used so far.

This thing is pretty good. It has various modes for cleaning your pool. You can set to do the bottom only, or bottom as well as sides. It works as advertised. Easy to recharge, basket for debris is easy to remove and clean, I would highly recommend. It takes about 2.5 hours to clean the bottom of my pool, and 4 hours to do bottom as well as sides. It also notifies you when done or if it has encountered a problem (getting stuck, for example) on the app.

Running it through its paces. Working good. I like the eco mode. I will give it the 5th star after I complete my testing satisfactorily.

You get what you pay for here. A great pool cleaning robot! Best one we have had so far. Easy to charge and clean. It is very thorough cleaning the bottom of the pool and walls. Still amazes me how it is able to clean the walls of the pool. Large basket for all debris and it floats to the surface when done cleaning. Very satisfied with our purchase. Our last robot from another company only lasted a year. Love the 3 year warranty.

The AquaSense S2 has been used 21 hrs on three different pools since Mar 24th, it is my 3rd cleaner in 3 mos. (2) round fountains 18' dia, nominal, 2 1/2' deep, w/6" protruding fountian-pipe dead ctr. & (1) one 20X40 pool; the AquaSense S2 w/AI failed a total of (6) six times in attempts to get the job done; failed miserably. Really tried my patience; had to resort to using the portable filter tank, with its 40 ft. hose, vacuum assessories, PA 125 filter to do the final cleaning. Beginning to end, tranporting all equipment it's 1 1/2 hr ordeal. What surpised me the BeatBot AquaSense S1 did a yoman's job on the 20x40 ft. , first time! Climbed the walls & did the corners. Sat. it will be given a 2nd op to succeed again. Here's the bottom line. I purchased the AquaSense S2 primarily for fountain maint. I've got 10 more days to work with it before returning it for a replacement or a refund. (1) one star for the fountain, (4) stars for the performance on the pool. BeatBot rep. said I needed a "Multi-mode" BeatBot cleaner for the fountains. Before I recommend this AquaSense 2 to anybody, it will have to perform equally on the 20X40' pool as well as it did the first time. Its navigation ability on the fountain's was abysmal; leaving a patchwork of checker board designs, pizza pie pcs. and hopscotch paths; & repeated trips over previously cleaned routes. Hopefully I will get a 2nd op to follow up on my ordeal using the BeatBot AquaSense S2--finally, BeatBot recommended using the iPhone and their app. to operate the cleaner machine; Wi Fi for two modes, floors and floor-walls-waterline cleaning is just another source of aggrevation. Filter system is good; it is well made; climbs walls. Docks itself when finished. Value and performance are compromised in this "diatribe" of mine; because you can't have one without the other. Hope this helps.

I have a large (33 x 19) above ground pool and originally (10 years ago) I had a very expensive pool robot but it was the wired type so the base unit had to be plugged into a power sockets and the robot was wired to the base unit. Although it worked well, and could be set to clean the bottom of the pool or the bottom and sides, the cable was always a challenge. The robot always seemed to get tangled and the cable would twist so that the range of the robot was sometimes limited in the bottom of the pool. It eventually stopped working and instead of a repair I bought a relatively cheap battery powered robot, since these were now readily available. I found that it worked OK but would only clean the bottom and battery life wasn't great. It also didn't do well with leaves and any bumps in the liner. I also ended up buying 3 more in order to have them working as an army to clean the pool. Now to this robot. All I can say is WOW! OK, it's expensive compared to other options but those cheaper robots don't compare! Although I've only had the chance to use it twice so far I'm super impressed. It has all the cleaning capabilities of my original robot (bottom, sides and also at the waterline) and no cable! It takes a little work to setup as it learns and maps your pool (the instructions are good and easy to follow) but once done you're set! There are then different options that can be selected from the app. It handles larger leaves that the other robots don't, it doesn't get caught on my liner creases (caused by a tree root under the pool) and the battery life is sufficient to clean the entire pool! In size it's about the equivalent of 3 or 4 of my other robots. It's not cheap and you can probably buy 4 or 5 of the less expensive robots for the same money but all pool robots are not made equal! This is absolutely superior by a mile to the others I have tried. It has superior cleaning power and capabilities and superior battery life. Overall, it's as advertised, excellent quality and functionality and at a competitive price for a high-end pool robot. I would absolutely recommend this. It's absolutely worth the money and absolutely a 5 star item.

This is like the ferrari of the cleaner world and you are paying for it. Luckily it's a 430 and not a kit car eh? It's superb quality in construction and the functions are all pre-programmed. Also literally no description on this so I'll help you out here with mine. First the bad: They don't tell you - but I've actually used one of these before at a friends house - it cannot do curved stairs well. That's it. Yeah really. That's this things weakness as it doesn't detect the curve as an edge in it's ai programming something they are apparently working on improving. Surprise as I've already messed around with one - everything else is stupidly good. THIS is what ai should be used for, programming monotonous tasks to rid yourself of the time sucking annoyance. Cleaning a large pool properly takes an hour at least. Per week, more if there are lots of people using it it all piles up into filth. Just annoying for the luxury of having a pool so this robot that automates everything is a godsend. So what exactly does this thing do? Top. Bottom. Sides and near perfectly at that. You cannot strap a camera to it as the robot sucks in air for ballast and "weighs" itself for operations as it works sucking itself to the sides or skim the top. That's why there are very few videos of this thing in action but trust me when I say it's quite good fun watching it with a beer and a sunset it really chugs along doing it's thing. You turn it on, drop it at a 45 degree angle into the water and let go. it will paddle out using its rubber fins and then suck in water to dive like a sub to the bottom. The sides are done by taking some air, becoming bottom heavy and flipping of sorts, sinking? type thing then it paddles and sucks like remora to the side which is quite clever I have to admit. Top skimming is just that. It surfaces like a sub and paddles about like a big blue duck. Really no problems with this robot at all from my friends usage last year. I know the price is hovering around 2.1K and with taxes it comes roughly to 2.5K all in. If you have a very large pool with frequent usage, water quality is a big issue. Considering the cost in time doing it yourself VS money to pay someone to come in and do it, this is quite cheap all things considered as it never will call in sick, works 24/7 for the season and will be ready when you are next season over. Might be well worth a look! (As long as you don't have sweeping curved stairs cough cough their very big secret haha)

The beatbot pool vacuum came in minimal packaging I was able to recycle. It comes packaged very well and there was no damage. The manuals that come with it are not the easiest to follow at times but take your time reading it and you'll find all the information you need is there. Since I got this during the winter, I am not able to give a review for my personal pool, but I have been asking 2 local pools if I could come use this (and another I have) and they finally allowed me. After fully charging both vacuums I wanted to review, I headed over very early one morning. The other vacuum I tested at the same time was 2/3 of the cost of this one so I expect the features for the beatbot and the cleaning ability to outshine the other one. It did! After setting it up in the app, I placed it in the pool and it sunk and went to work on both walls and floors. The beatbot is heavier than the other one I tried but no so much that it wasn't manageable. The beatbot was cleaning the floors very quickly and when it came to walls, it easily climbed and cleaned them coming with out of the water to clean the water line. It did navigate the stairs but it was a little more clunky than the smaller vacuum I also used that day. It still did a good job. Full disclosure that I don't have stairs in my personal inground pool so this feature doesn't matter to me. The battery life was exceptional, so much so the pool staff kept telling me to hurry up as they were worried about swimmers showing up for their morning swim. I was able to to a complete run on battery before I go kicked out. What I found was even though I used the other vacuum in the pool first, the beatbot had a lot of debris in the basket and a lot of fine stuff I think the other one left behind. I really like the way you charge the beatbot in a nice charging cradle instead of plugging it in a port covered with a rubber seal. I feel like this will have trouble free charging for a longer period of time. This si totally worth the price if you have a pool you want to keep clean all the time as part of your regular routine.
