I have owned Beatbot for a few months. My pool gets very dirty every winter.(Wife doesn’t want a cover on it,) The Beatbot works great. Just a few passes as soon as the water warmed up a bit, and the pool was clean. It is nice not to have a long electrical cord to mess with. So far so good.

I don't have any other cordless robot to compare but it last about 1.75h each charge. I have 2 corded robots. And this work just as good as the dolphin m600 without the cord. The m600 lasted 1 year. The other one is the Wybot which is a piece of junk and terrible post sale customer service. Initially, this robot seems to be very confuse when you put in the water. However, it seems to be learning your typography. As times goes on, it get better and better and seems to know some of the peculiarities of your pool. It does attempt to clean your steps but not really good at it. Hopefully the manufacturer improve the algorithm in the future. Over all a good price for a decent robot. Will see how long will it last.

I got this to replace an Aiper that had died two months after its warranty expired. This time, I used a credit card that doubles the manufacturer's warranty. So - 4 years of warranty. The unit is physically larger and heavier than the Aiper. I'm glad I didn't go for the "Pro" version which is clearly even larger and heavier. It seems to be well made, and although it's heavier, it's just as easy to carry as the Aiper, because the ergonomics are better. Nice big grab handle. It has Wifi connectivity when it's out of the pool. But it does not accept Wifi passphrases with embedded spaces. I asked Beatbot's tech support about it, and their suggestion was to change my wifi passphrase. Umm, not happening. I have WAY too many gadgets with that passphrase. Note that I say "passphrase" and not "password". Wifi has supported passphrases since its very inception. Luckily, the cleaner works without wifi. Another issue - that I didn't know before receiving it; The manual says to turn off your pool filters while the cleaner is cleaning. I'm betting that's because the noise in the water confuses their ultrasonic sensor. I don't think that was mentioned in the Quick Start pamphlet. Anyway, the cleaner does work with the pumps running, but I think it's a little confused. My pool is a simple rectangular shape, and for some reason instead of going back & forth with the shape, the cleaner cuts steep diagonals across it, climbing the walls a bit at a severe tilt. The pool hadn't been properly cleaned since the old cleaner gave up, and although we have a power cover on it, a quantity of leaves had wound up on the bottom. The instructions say to clean the pool by hand before using the cleaner for the first clean of the season. Heck with that! I bought this $1K cleaner to *clean*, not to watch me clean :). So I plopped the cleaner in. It did it's thing and then parked at the edge of the pool. I fished it out, and the hopper was completely full. Recharged it and did it again the next day. It's been 3 days of once-a-day cleaning, and now the pool is almost pristine. WRT charging: The unit comes with a charging dock with two big spring loaded terminals that contact connection spots on the side of the cleaner. This seems like a very effective system, and superior to the little rubber-tipped plug that the Aiper had. Much easier to keep clean. The cleaner started parking itself at the far side of the pool, that has a retaining wall. Sure would be nice if I could tell it to park over HERE instead. But not deadly - my pool pole reaches the other side, and the supplied hook is very good - very substantial. The last few cleans, the unit stopped parking itself on the wall. Rather, it just stops somewhere in the middle of the pool. Not deadly - it's easy to fish it out with the pole. In conclusion, this seems to be a good cleaning machine, with some high-tech warts. But no deal killers.

Update: we finally received the parts needed and the vacuum is fixed. It works like new again. The cleaner itself work fantastic. There is nothing better. However, the roller house broke in less than a year and we are still struggling to get Beatbot to send a replacement part under the warranty. They did send new rollers, but that is not the problem; it’s the white plastic housing the holds the rollers. This cleaner is way too expensive to not be able to get the parts replaced. I gave it 2 stars because although it works great, it broke quickly and Beatbot is not very quick at helping us. In the mean time, we have a dirty pool and $1000 piece of equipment incapable of cleaning.

I had a minor issue with setup but support was very supportive. The robot is easy to opperate and does a great job of cleaning the pool, including up sides and stairs which ends up cleaning most of the debris on the top of the pool.

I'm a first-time owner of a robotic pool cleaner, and was a bit worried that this relatively expensive Beatbot AquaSense machine was a bit over the top and a waste. After using it for the first time to do a quick early spring cleaning of my inlaw's inground pool, I'm a bit relieved that it's probably not the wrong decision to get it. Hopefully, with more cleaning runs in the summer, will have more feedback. So far, here's my take on it so far: The machine has a relatively sleek form factor that's neither too large or too compact, and it doesn't weight too much at 20-something lbs, so I can lift and handle it fairly easily. However, it is a bit difficult to lift it out of the pool. The build quality feels premium, with a metallic pearl finish that stands out while it's crawling inside the pool. The top-loading debris basket made it easy to clean and maintenance. In terms of cleaning power, so far it seems good, but during this first run, the pool wasn't too dirty, with only a few pieces of debris at the bottom, and some slight buildup on the walls. The suction power seems to be very effective, as evident in the fine layer of slimy stuff it picked up in the filter. The machine seems to be quite efficient at navigating along the geometric shape of the pool. It first moved along the wall edges to map(?) out the boundaries, and then seems to switch to coverage mode to clean the entire floor first, and then it moves onto cleaning the walls. On the walls, it's able to detect and then clean just above the waterline, before diving back down. Throughout the process, the rubber "tank tracks" seem to adhere firmly to the floor and vertical walls as it travels, and didn't seem to experience any slip at all. This is great as I was worried it'll fall off the wall and flip upside down, needing me to jump in to rescue it. The battery life is good, at probably around 2 to 3 hours or a bit more, which is more than needed to clean my inlaw's smallish pool. The charging dock is convenient, and the battery life indicator on the app is handy. Speaking of apps, it is quite simple but functional, requires wifi to function (the app, that is). However, note that it's not necessary to install the app to get the machine working, as the machine can function & clean on its own, simply use the buttons on top of the machine. On the app, you can also select between two cleaning modes, and it actually keep logs of the cleaning records. However, what's missing is that you can't remotely control the machine through the app, including interrupting the clean cycle, which I had wanted to do as I needed to leave to do some other work during mid-cycle.

I'm not sure if it is the time difference or the price difference, but this vacuum is substantially better than my other one which is about 4-5 years old. I think the design differences and the ability to clean the walls, and be accessed without a pole is a massive improvement in cleaning and overall owner ease(if the power runs out - the pole is still needed). Another huge difference is this unit is able to be handled pretty easily, you can even put it in the back vehicle, which means I can take this to a rental to clean the pool when I cut the grass and reduce the time I'm there. The brushes on this do a better job cleaning than I expected, and to be honest a hardly manually cleaned the walls, and this does it all with no super vision/effort/time. The build quality seems better than my older vacuum by a long shot, I'm not sure if its somewhat because the other one is old, but side by side there is really no comparison - again this could be a price difference though(my original was around 1k) It's a bit pricey up front, but when you factor in the difference in cleaning between the two, and the ability to clean the walls, I think if I had to choose between a cheaper model that does less, I would pick this, the price difference seems to worthwhile for function and build. I do have some experience with the robot skimmers also, and if I had to choose between the spending money on a skimmer or vacuum I would 100% of the time go for the vacuum over the skimmer. It's much more useful and makes a bigger difference in time savings. I have seen the skimmer combo robots also, but again I think the really meat and potatoes of these devices is in the under water level cleaning, not the surface.

The Beatbot AquaSense pool cleaner is in a league of its own as compared to more traditional rudimentary cleaners that randomly vacuum the bottom of pool floors. This little device does a great job at using its sensors and AI algorithms to scan, map, and methodically scale the bottom and side walls of pools, picking up small debris, leaves, twigs, and even some things you didn't know (or couldn't see). Since it is winter, I tested the AquaSense on a family member's indoor in-ground pool. I was impressed that the robot could scale walls as easily as it did, especially considering that their pool is cube-shaped and has no smooth transitions to the walls. The 2 track system did a great job (after a bit of calculating) of getting on the side of the walls and going up and down throughout the perimeter of the pool, all the way up to the waterline. Paired together with the app, you can monitor the battery life, progress of the cleaning job, plus make changes on the fly such as altering the cleaning mode, suction power, and cleaning pattern. The app is intuitive and easy to navigate, plus it maintains a cleaning history including time spent, square footage covered, and dates of each cleaning operation. You can set a schedule to have periodic cleaning as part of regular pool maintenance. Although the kit does not come with a recovery hook, I like that the robot parks itself in convenient locations at the top of the waterline, which makes it easy to retrieve. To charge, you just drop it in the base and off you go. Important to mention that you do need strong WiFi coverage in and around your pool area in order to track the live progress of cleaning on the app, otherwise the data will just sync once the robot is back in range. For testing this in an indoor pool, I was not expecting much to be collected in the bin, however we found plenty of bugs, sand, and some plastic pieces (from toys, etc.) which were collected in the pool over time. Its nice to know that with periodic usage, (once every week or couple of weeks) you can keep your pool spotless with no need to hire someone to do the same job. I was expecting that the BeatBot AquaSense would also be able to skim the surface of the water, however this feature seems to be reserved for the higher spec models, which is a bit surprising at this price point, but not unexpected. On an 18 foot pool, the we still had about 30% charge remaining after a full cleaning cycle, including bottom and walls.

As a review of this free item I would have to say it seems quite expensive and there are potentially options that are offer better value for a lower price. However, this was a nice surprise. It handles our medium sized pool with no problem, thanks to its smart AI and efficient pathing. The N-shape and S-shape cleaning modes help it adapt to different layouts, making sure the entire pool, including the floor and waterline, gets covered. There are rollers on both the front and back, it scrubs thoroughly and picks up debris with ease. The filter traps fine particles, leaving the water super clear, and the 200W brushless motor gives it strong suction that lets it climb walls with ease. One thing to note, the manual recommends turning off your pool pump before cleaning, as the water movement can interfere with the ultrasonic sensors. The robot still works with the pump on, but it can act a bit confused at times. Being cordless is a huge bonus. No cables to manage or worry about where to plug in. It has run for more than 3 hours on a single charge, which is plenty for a full clean. The included wireless charging dock makes recharging simple, and the unit stores easily thanks to its compact build. The certifications also is a good piece of mind giving me confidence in its performance and durability, even when it’s running unattended. All in all, the AquaSense makes pool cleaning easy and efficient. It's a solid mix of smart features and reliable power, and if you're after a hands-off way to keep your pool clean, it's definitely worth checking out.

We decided to invest in the Beatbot AquaSense Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner, and it has exceeded every expectation. This little powerhouse tackles our large in-ground pool (just over 2,000 sq. ft.) effortlessly, thanks to its advanced AI algorithms and intelligent path optimization. The dual cleaning modes—N-shape and S-shape—allow it to adapt to the pool’s layout, ensuring that every inch, from the floor to the waterline, is spotless. The built-in SonicSense technology helps it navigate around obstacles smoothly, so it never gets stuck or misses a spot. What really impressed us is the dual-brush system. With independent roller brushes at the front and back, the AquaSense provides double the cleaning efficiency. It easily scrubs away algae and debris while the ultra-fine 150μm filter captures even the tiniest particles, leaving the water crystal clear. Plus, the powerful 200W brushless motor generates strong suction, allowing it to climb walls—including curved surfaces—without losing power. Another standout feature is the convenience of the cordless design. No more dealing with tangled cords or worrying about plug locations. It runs for a solid 3 hours on a single charge, which is more than enough time to get our pool looking pristine. The included cordless charging dock makes recharging effortless, and the unit’s compact design means it doesn’t take up much space when stored. We also appreciate the thoughtful safety and reliability features. AquaSense boasts 15 certifications, including ETL and CEC, ensuring both environmental compliance and durability. Knowing that it meets these high standards gives us peace of mind, especially when it’s running while we’re not around. In short, the Beatbot AquaSense makes maintaining a pool feel effortless. It’s the perfect combination of cutting-edge technology and reliable performance—an investment that saves time while delivering exceptional results. If you’re looking for a hassle-free way to keep your pool sparkling clean all season long, this is definitely the one to get!
