This doggie bed is the VERY BEST!!! Winston, our 13 year old Shih Tzu came home from a 3 day hospital stay due to major arthritis in his back. He was very happy to be home but still felt very uncomfortable and would not go into his bed. The vet suggested this calming round wonderful doggie bed, it was delivered within 4 hours to my surprise. As soon as I opened the package and set up this great doggie bed my Winston was laying in it and fell asleep for several hours. It is so soft, the bottom is very thick and fluffy. Our Sophia a 10 year old Shih Tzu wanted to nap in the bed and could not understand why we did not let her share the bed with sick Winston, so the same night I ordered a second bed for her. We have two very happy pups with two beautiful doggie beds. I highly recommend the bed with it's beautiful style, fabric, stuffing and comfort and of course the superfast shipping from Amazon.

After having this bed for about 5 months I can honestly say that it is fabulous. The cover comes off with a breeze and can easily be washed in the machine. Getting it back together is a little tricky but it is definitely doable. it is the 1st bed my pooch has not torn to shreds and she absolutely loves it. She gets a little sad when it's time for a wash but loves fixing it to her approved lumpiness when it's back together. My only wish is that you could get just a replacement cover and that they made the larger sized beds in all the cute small bed colors. I really wanted the mint green but my furry friend needs the XL bed and those colors are just drab. Didn't stop me from purchasing and I'm sure glad I did.

I purchased this style bed for a few reasons. Its open nature means it won't be uncomfortable in the warmer months like the cube-style bed that Rikki, my last cat loved within seconds of going inside it but eschewed from June until colder autumn days. It also has a decent edge for leaning various body parts against which I noticed Alexander loved doing with a throw pillow on my loveseat once he moved from hiding under it in fear his 1st day here to sleeping on top of one of its cushions on week #3. Alexander is a medium size cat of about 10lbs & he fits comfortably into the small size. Alexander also has a padded windowsill seat nearby which gives him easy access to the trimmings on Forrest, my tree-for-all-seasons, in front of & below it. But the world outside & Forrest's charms can't measure up to his own body's warmth which is why I suspect he prefers this donut shaped Calming Cat Bed. That 'calming' aspect is the 3rd reason I purchased this bed. Alexander, a retired breeder cat, turned 2-years-old just days before I brought him home & was really frightened of me & everyone else new to him. His fright was such that if I had to walk near him, I had to do so with my back towards him. Because even making eye contact sent him back into hiding every time, I was a little desperate for any help with that since, even though he's fully coated with blue & white hair, he's actually a Sphynx cat, a breed known for their sociability. So, if there was any magic about the calming effect these beds have on pets, I wanted it! As you can see from my photos, he's pretty laid back when he's in his bed where he spends many hours every day. Suggestion—you'd be wise to choose a color that contrasts with your pet. The only way I knew Alexander had hopped up & settled into his bed for the 1st time when I thought I spotted him in it from the kitchen was by the white on his 4 toes that he had resting on the chair's back because his dark coat blends so well into the navy blue of his bed. Even now, I have to get close to see if he's in there because he has big blue eyes which also blend into the bed. Alexander & I are very pleased with this bed which washed up nicely after it arrived. Should the need arise, I would purchase it again, but in a different color from the many, many available. 😊

I have two senior pups. 17 and 15 years old. The oldest has arthritis in her legs. I have many different dog beds laid out for them all over the house and she always likes to sleep in this one. It’s very plush. A lot of padding on the bottom. The sides are high and very good for my dog to rest her head. She definitely sleeps longer and seems more well rested after sleeping in this bed. I highly recommend this for senior pups and other pups suffering from anxiety. I just bought another one today for my other baby.

My dog is a large breed, older dog, and very set in his ways where he sleeps. His old favorite bed was very flat and the memory foam inside had started to develop mildew from drool/moisture. I had to throw it out and my poor dog was depressed and missed his bed. But I was so happy to see him climb right into this new bed and sink into all the soft, furry goodness. Especially with the higher padded sides where he could rest his head, while his body sank into the middle of the bed. He literally slept in it all night the very first night, and looked so nestled and safe. But the next morning the center area of the bed was completely flat, when he got up I could feel the hard wood floor through the bed. The sides of the bed are perfect, they retain their shape and firmness. But the bottom center cushion of the bed, where most of his body laid was completely flattened after one night. So I unzipped the bed and added a 24 inch round diameter x 4 inch piece of foam dog bedding to the underside of the bed center. Now it’s perfect and my dog loves the bed, and his body isn’t laying on the hard wood floor. Probably wouldn’t be an issue if our house was carpeted, so I would recommend if you have hard wood or tiling to invest in extra padding or cushion under the center of the bed.

Follow directions and let it rest for at least 24 hrs. This is the 2nd of these I have for my schnauzer and he loves them. He no longer wants to sleep on my bed at night. He goes to one of the beds when I retire and there he stays. I recommend 100% Also be sure to buy the correct size. Dogs need to feel the bed envelop them.

I recently snagged the Bedsure Long Plush Calming Dog Bed for my boxer/Boston terrier mix, and honestly, it's been a total hit. What more should I say, she sleeps in it every day :) We've also washed it once in the washing mashine and it is still fluffy after it dried again.
