I like having more than one laptop charger so that I can keep a cord plugged in wherever I use my laptop. So I have one for my office, one for my craft room, one by my couch and one that always stays in my laptop bag so that I won’t travel and forget my cord. (No more 8:45 pm trips to the electronics store wherever I travel to!). These are truly universal—all kinds of tips. They are so inexpensive that I can have four of them.

The Belker 65W/45W power adapter is well made and portable. With dimensions of 4.33 in x 1.97 in x 1.18 in means, and weighs only 10.3 oz with the power cord attached, it is slightly smaller than listed in specs. Its durable hard-plastic body has one status LED and is well match to sized power cords (0.16 in. computer side). The auto-voltage DC plugs are of flexible rubber-like plastic and have clear T-numbers imprinted. This set is much nicer than budget OEM's. The fifteen DC plugs for major laptop brands is fantastically useful. It had the hard-to-find Samsung 5.0x3.0 mm connector for an obsolete NP450R4V laptop. The Belker adapter easily powers the 65W laptop to this day. Nice product!

I grabbed this after my 11-year-old was cleaning his room and accidentally threw away his Chromebook charger. I was looking at one that supposedly went to the one he has, but just to err on the side of caution I grabbed this one so I had a few different adapters just in case. This one comes with 15-6 whereas universal chargers at big box stores only come with 5-6 and cost twice as much. Upon receipt it comes in a no-frills, plain cardboard box with the attachments in a separate clear plastic bag, making it more than easy to open and get started. There's also a slip of paper with the name of the attachment (the number is embossed on the side of it) and what computer it can work with. I had my son's Chromebook charging up in maybe a minute. Works beautifully.

The postage stamp instruction sheet lacked any useful info., like what the amber light that lit when I plugged the charger into power means. It did warn me to check the voltage before connecting the charger to my computer. So I did. It was in the range of the correct 19-v. but my meter went blank in about one second. It did this repeatedly. So, was the amber light an okay sign. Those are usually green lights. Or was it a warning that could be serious. It's possible that without load, the charger would go to a zero reading and the amber light would stay on. I didn't want to risk my laptop to find out. Competently written instruction would have clarified these points. Belker's website had no answer and, though it said that it did, no e-mail contact facility address. Though it showed an attractive woman wearing a telephone headset, there was no number to call for answers to questions. Finally, the name "Belker," is ominously close to that of respected electronics supplier, "Belken." Is this a coincidence? I would guess not. I took the only rational action and returned the unit for a refund. You should too, if you experience what I did with this item.
