Sniffing Out the BestReviewed in the United States on May 4, 2025

We are huge fans of Benebone in my household. My pup has been getting their hard bones for as long as I’ve had him, and they’ve always been his favorite. This is our first time trying the natural rubber version and it does not disappoint. The twisted design makes it easy for him to grip and chew, and even after several weeks, it’s holding up well. There are some bite marks, but no chunks missing, which is always what I’m looking for. I actually prefer this rubber version to the harder ones, especially since our vet warned us about cracked teeth from aggressive chewing. It’s a little bulky for fetch, but perfect for independent chewing when I don’t want to hover. Dover the Boston Terrier gives it a solid five barks.

My dog loves a good new toy, and is always a fan of a new Benebone. When this arrived at our home he was overjoyed. The solid rubber toy seems like it is made to last, while he is a heavy chewer he doesn't make an effort to kill toys. Similar toys to this bone have lasted a long time. The bone is easy to toss and catch, but will be difficult for a medium or smaller dog to swallow. The knobbed ends will be good for putting peanut butter or other treats for extended enrichment. It is good for a medium-sized dog, or even supervised play with a larger dog. Small dogs will have a hard time playing with it. My dog gives it two thumbs up!

This chew toy is the perfect size for my 45lb dog. It is a little too large for my smaller 15lb dog to comfortably carry around. The material feels strong and has held up well so far. I really like that it is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. My only complaint is that I only bought one. The dogs are not interested in taking turns, so I will probably need to order another. Good quality overall.

This is best for dogs that are not heavy chewers since it is made of rubber. It is easy for them to pick up and play/chew. It is light enough to be used for fetch and easy to clean.

Mysteries SolvedReviewed in the United States on April 29, 2025

I have a medium size 50lb dog and this bone is about the right size for him, erring being large for his mouth. He's not a huge chewer but will spend hours on real bones. I know those can chip off and such so I've been trying to get him to switch over to these rubber or nylon type bones. Haven't been all that successful and don't fault this product at all. In fact, of all the ones I've tried, this certainly is the most durable one of the lot. If you have a chewer, this one should hold up for a good long while. Thanks!

It's not indestructible -- you'll need to keep an eye on your pup while chewing on it -- but the solid rubber is hard and durable enough even for more aggressive chewers while still being soft and flexible enough to avoid oral injuries. This is not a 5-minute, one-and-done toy. In terms of playing fetch, it's easy to throw but the odd shape and weight distribution mean it doesn't travel that far, fyi.

This is a good dog bone for small to medium sized dogs that are not power chewers. Relatively light weight and good thickness and bounce back for chewing. Good price but durability will be related to how aggressively your dog likes to chew his toys.

This chew toy is both tough and flexible, which is exactly what I was looking for. You can bend it in half without it feeling like it will snap or tear. It feels puncture resistant too, and I think my dog will have a hard time chewing it in two. The natural rubber has a nice weight to it, and my dog took to it right away. It also gives him some real chewing exercise without showing signs of breaking down. The shape makes it easy for him to grab and carry, even without having thumbs. After several play sessions, it is still holding up really well.
