I absolutely love this guitar I bought my granddaughter for christmas.I was actually amazed at the quality this is made at this price point. I expected it to be lighter and more cheaply made and it definitely exceeded my expectations. My granddaughter is 6 years old and she can hold the guitar nicely without and kind of struggles.I highly recommend a first guitar like this for learning on and then up grading to a more expensive guitar as they get older and more serious about playing.Also I have learned that little ones can be a little rough and tough on things so at this price point if they drop it and scratch it or literally chunck it up its no problem because of the very little amount of money invested. This guitar sounds great and it feels substantial.I received this guitar very quickly by the seller and had no problems whatsoever. Ordered this as a precursor to getting my daughter a Squire Mini Strat, and i am IMPRESSED by this. Although it does need a few changes, its still a really great product for someone who wants their kids to seriously learn an instrument. Took it out the box and set up the action/intonation on it and changed the strings out for some Ernie Ball Zippy Slinkys. Make sure you tune this to A if youre keeping the original strings, the Ernie Balls handle E tuning abit better (remember to always stretch out new strings). The amp isnt bad but it isnt good, but for the purpose of use it functions great! The single coil is abit microphonic and has alot of background chatter, but after hooking it up to my pc using amp modeling software with a good noise gate, it sounded pretty bluesy. The chord, strap, and guitar case are abit on the flimsy side but the price point kinda explains it (compared to a squire mini strat package that goes for 299-359). Overall 0 complaints on build quality and sound, but would definitely take the time to adjust it out of the box (as you should with ANY guitar regardless of price point).

Good value for the price. First amplifier did not work and vendor replaced it quickly, after some delivery delays.

Doesn’t stay in tune and strings vibrate or mute on the frets/neck. Even adjusting string height doesn’t work well. I’ve played guitar many years and bought this for my child. Size is great, but quality is bad. Can’t really learn on a guitar that won’t tune or play correctly.

This is the perfect start guitar!!! My kiddo has been asking for an electric guitar for a couple of years now-- as the requests have not ceased with age.. (she's 6) I scoured Amazon to see what was available and when I ran across this Best Choice Products complete set up... Well, needless to say, Kiddo is going to be super excited come Christmas morning.... Hubs took it out to garage and tuned up.. and then kept it in there for about a week playing around on it... he was absolutely amazed at the sound quality- has me wondering if I should purchase another for him... If you have a youngster in your life who is showing an interest in playing / learning guitar.. I wholeheartedly recommend this! It is a complete set up- you can't get any better than that. Kiddo was more than excited.. she adores the distortion button on the amp... Guess I now will be looking for a guitar teacher!! (Wish I could post the video from my phone! :-( ) but I can post a pic... the fingerprints say alot... lol

The body has a nice finish and is sturdy. However, after spending a lot of time tuning it with the tuner supplied with the kit and a tuning app, the guitar doesn't keep in tune. What can I do to enhanc the instrument's sound?

It’s a great guitar for beginners! However the amp isn’t very loud. So it’s hard to tune. Over all great product.

Unlike other people, the amp never broke after my 5 year has used it countless times. The trick with it is to tune to A instead of E or you will never keep it in tune and it’s not really playable. That’s just due to the small size of the guitar.

Aparentemente el equipo está bien y no se duda que su operación corresponda a las expectativas, sin embargo, no se ha podido "probar" porque llegó sin el adaptador de corriente para el amplificador (suponemos que se "quedó olvidado" en la aduana) y batallamos para conseguir uno que lo sustituya, estamos por recibirlo. Was hesitant at first but after purchase and it arrived in excellent shape, The Quality of the product is very nice. To be honest I wasn't expecting such a nice guitar package.

My son loves this guitar, great quality for a first time guitar, the sound is actually really better then I expected too!
