Works great!! I have a big pool and I wish I would have bought this years ago!! Easy to empty debris basket. Easy to reach on/off switch. Solar will run 24 hrs if I need to. Great product. Been using for 2 weeks. Works better for small debris, not big magnolia leaves.

This little machine is a work horse!! It has totally changed the look and cleanliness of our pool. We have a lot of oak trees and palm trees around the pool so we ALWAYS had a layer of something on the top of our pool. Whether it was a layer of pollen from the palm trees or leaves from the oak trees, our pool always had stuff on the top. Whenever we wanted to swim, I would have to first pull out my pool skimmer and skim the entire top of the water. However, now that we have this little guy, I NEVER have to skim the top of our pool and it always looks beautiful! I mean honestly, I think this is the best purchase I've made on Amazon. Our pool always looks clean now. I wish I had known about this product years ago. It really does make a huge difference in how our pool looks. And, this guy never stops! He is always working! I've owned my own business for the past 20+ years and I've had a lot of employees over the years. When I go out back and watch this guy working, I think to myself: " This is the best employee I've ever had!" lol. I mean, you buy it once and you're done. No additional payroll, no payroll taxes, he's not calling in sick or just not showing up, and he NEVER complains, lol. Now of course since it's solar operated there are days where it won't work. But those days are few and far between as we live in Southern California. But even on cloudy days it still works great as it doesn't require full sun to get charged. It just runs and runs almost 24/7. The durability is amazing. I've had this since August, 2023 and it still runs the same as it did the day that we got it. If you have a pool you NEED this product! It will keep the top of your pool free of leaves, dust, dirt, pollen, etc. It feels so much nicer jumping into a pool with a PERFECTLY spotless top layer, rather than having to first skim it and hope I got everything. If you want to look at and swim in a clean pool, you really should buy this wonderful machine. ****Update**** It's now 9/25/2024 and my Betta is still running as strong as it was the day I received it! I'm still super happy with this purchase and I am constantly recommending it to all of my friends & family who have pools. The only critique I've had is that sometimes it would get stuck in the skimmer when my pool filter was running. I noticed that they are now including an "anti-stuck foam noodle" to fix this issue. So, I called the company and spoke with Hector. I told him about my issue and he said he would be shipping out the anti-stuck foam noodle in today's mail. Wow, in addition to a GREAT product, they also have GREAT customer service! This is still, by far, one of if not THE best purchase I've made on Amazon.

I usually don’t write any reviews but, this is by far one of the best items I have purchased for the price it was paid. Damm thing still cleans and keeps going after sunset for 4 to 5 hours. Never a problem, keeps the pool super clean. Congrats to the inventors and owners of the company.

Click to play video We have recently bought a house in Southern California. It has a saltwater pool, and a typical suction pool cleaner. We have a lot of trees in our yard, and frequently they drop leaves that float on the surface of the pool. In addition, there are the usual things like dying bees, and general debris. We have a "pool guy", but he's here only once a week, so I decided to try this unit. It is terrific. We have had it for about two and a half weeks, and it has been running 24/7, powered by the Southern California sunlight. It's easy to use, and easy to clean. The bottom center of the basket even has a circular holder that fits a three inch chlorine tab. The instructions don't mention it, so I'm not sure if the company wants to advertise it, but it holds a tablet perfectly. Since it is a saltwater pool , it is automatically chlorinated, and it works quite well. However, I plan to occasionally put a tab in there, to keep surface chlorine levels a little bit higher, to prevent any algae accumulation where the water surface meets the pool edges. The only downside to the skimmer is that our pool has a sloped "beach" entry. Sometimes, the skimmer has got stuck there, and when I go out in the morning I've had to nudge it off, back into the main body of the pool. However, the skimmer has four adjustable "legs", one at each corner, and I think I have now found a setting that seems to pretty much prevent it getting stuck at the beach entry. When it goes in there, it shimmies around a bit, back and forth, turning here and there, until it frees itself. The past two mornings, when I've gone out, it's been racing around the pool, and the surface is sparkling clean. So not only is it running 24/7, it's actually patrolling the pool pretty much all of that time. Our pool also has a "cave" with a waterfall in front. The water level in the cave is about 6" above the cave surface, so the skimmer can go in there. It invariably turns around and comes back out. It's kind of mesmerizing, watching it do its work. EDIT 4 months later: The weather's getting cooler, especially overnight, and the pool water is correspondingly getting somewhat cold. So, since we won't be in the pool for a little while, I decided to create a temporary, removable, barrier at the beach entry, to completely the prevent the skimmer from getting stuck there. I will attach a video. I made the barrier using a combination of large pool noodles, nylon rope, and at each side there is a 4 lb neoprene covered weight to hold it in place. It's been up for about a week, and it's worked absolutely perfectly. As the video shows, when the skimmer approaches the pool noodles, the sonar detection causes the skimmer to turn aside. So the skimmer has been removing debris from the pool surface 24/7; it's clean as a whistle.

Betta, where have you been all of my life? This has been one of my best Amazon purchases ever. It has saved me from having to skim my pool with a skimmer net multiple times a day and my pool has never been so clean. Betta works so much more effectively to scoop up the smallest bits of debris that usually go right through my skimmer net. Also, since it runs day and night, there's hardly anything sinking to the bottom of the pool. I used to have to vacuum the bottom of my pool every day, but since I got Betta, even after a week there really isn't a need to vacuum. It has worked perfectly since I put it in my pool 2 months ago, and I don't know how I could live without it now. I got the 3 year extended warranty just in case something happens, but I've had no trouble up to this point. The only time I remove it from the pool is when we're swimming or when I need to clean out the basket. Cleaning out the basket is very simple, it just needs a light spray with a garden hose. I generally clean it out once a day but I could probably do this every 2 or 3 days. I love that it runs on solar power so no need to plug it in to charge a battery. Now that the days are getting shorter, I do find that the flashing green lights are usually flashing red in the morning and while the red lights are flashing, it moves a bit slower until the sun comes up and charges it to green light full power once again. It might seem a bit expensive, but for the amount of time I have saved cleaning my pool, it's worth so much more to me than what I paid for it. I could not be happier with this purchase. I only wish I'd bought it sooner.

I had this pool skimmer for a year now. Works great. As soon as the sun hits it in the morning it starts up and continues well after the sun has gone down. I've tried other brands, but this works the best.

This product should be available to buy all over Europe and the uk but Amazon got it to me from the USA . Excellent machine . It runs all day from the solar panels and at night from the batteries charged during sunlight.
