I’ve used it on both fresh and saltwater trips, and it handled everything from bass to saltwater snook without any issues. Can't give it the full 5 stars just yet, as I haven't fished with it yet. All I wanted was a cheap, strong, decent quality line to catch some catfish with. I highly doubt I'll catch a fish over 20 lbs with it, but you never know. I spooled it up on my Abu Garcia 5500 round baitcaster and casted it in the back yard with a sinker attached a few times and it casts pretty smooth. No sticking on my rod's eyelets or any hiccups with casting that I've read from other reviews. It's 50 lb line, so it's thick and should be able to do what I need it to do. We'll see if I ever need to respool this reel ever again, haha. I like that the spool of line I bought has 500 YDs on it. If I ever need to spool something else with it, it should have enough left.

Works great no issues. The 10 lb 8 strand braid fits perfect on my 1k shimano stradic. No problems with it. I’ve caught so many big snook and fish on it and it’s held up good every time. Casts super smooth and high visibility is nice.

This is my second Beyond Braid purchase and I could not be happier. I learned long ago to not always be a brand snob because you might actually be surprised by what you buy. This line cast super smooth, far, no dye issues, and even uprooted some thick weed from a weed line.
