Super easy setup. Less than 3 mins to connect to wifi. Got a new router - had to connect to new SSID - again less than 3 mins. The AI is a little off once in a while, but is mostly accurate. Although we have other feeders in the yard this one took forever for the birds to notice it. Even after 2 months, it gets less traffic than the other feeders. I think the birds are wary of the lights on the camera when it snaps a shot. Or maybe they see themselves in the reflection off the lens? There does seem to be a slight lag between when motion is detected and the pic is snapped. Not a big deal as most pics are still successful....but I have had quite a few bird "butt shots". In addition, some birds already have seed in their beak, so they have been there a few moments before the pic snapped. FYI, the camera has a shallow depth of field, but it will still capture objects in your yard well enough to be identifiable. Also, the setting to "avoid pics of humans" seems to only work when the human is facing the camera -- I get lots of pics of people backs and sides. The camera has been set up for almost 3 months and I have yet to need to charge the battery -- the solar panel works very well.

This birdfeeder has proven to be an absolute joy! The simplicity of the setup process was a pleasant surprise, and the feeder's construction is remarkably solid. The camera's image quality is outstanding, and I greatly enjoy observing the wide variety of birds that visit, courtesy of the video recordings stored in the cloud. The inclusion of a water bottle is a considerate touch, as numerous birds rely on it for hydration. The seed tray's design is clever, featuring a covered top with small holes that successfully prevent water from collecting. When I had questions regarding notification setup, I was impressed by the prompt and informative response from the customer service department.

Absolutely love this smart bird feeder. Great product and great price. We really enjoy observing the birds live and up close. The audio and visual has excellent quality and it alerts us on our phone every time a bird arrives. AI is free and solar charging is very convenient. Everything works perfectly!! So much fun and exciting to see an abundant variety of birds! We also purchased the recommended pole stand- very sturdy and is a great fit !

I purchased the Smart Bird Feeder a couple of weeks ago as an anniversary gift for my wife. The main draw for this one was its ability to identify birds without requiring a subscription - no ongoing costs. It offers plenty of mounting options, making it easy to set up. So far, it’s attracted a flurry of sparrows, and we’re excited to see what other birds it draws over time. The app is decent, with lots of with features, though navigating them can be a bit tricky. Overall, it’s a great product and now my mom wants one too :).

I got this as a Mother’s Day gift and my wife has loved it. The picture is extremely clear and it’s great how you can share the app as well as a bunch of different options in the app. The only reason I’m giving it a four star review is every bird it has seen the AI has misidentified it. For some reason it thinks these are all birds in South America When we are on in the mid Atlantic the United States. The app uses the location where you’re at so you would think it would know not to identify it with a bird that’s not even in your continent.

If you're into birdwatching or just want a fun addition to your backyard, this is a solid pick. The camera is surprisingly clear, and the app makes it easy to see who’s stopping by—even sends alerts when it spots something. The AI species recognition is fun and surprisingly accurate. Setup was pretty simple, and the solar power keeps it low-maintenance. Great way to get a closer look at wildlife without disturbing them.

I absolutely LOVE this! There is nothing more peaceful than being able to watch the birds eating close up. I have always wanted one of these and I am so glad that I finally got one. The birds love it and visit regularly and it is very enjoyable to get such a great view!

This is a mostly great product if you want to get close-up pictures of birds as they feed. It was easy to assemble and to set up the camera to link to wireless and an app on your phone. I started by putting the house together (instructions are a bit skimpy) and simply set it out on a patio table with some seeds to see what would happen. Pretty soon my phone started receiving text messages as various birds alighted (not always well identified by the AI, but we'll see with more use). Pictures were sharp and videos flowed smoothly. Of course, I wanted to mount the feeder, and do so in a way that kept squirrels from getting to the food. That is the issue with this feeder - and maybe others like it - namely how are you going to mount it. Feeder includes a belt you can use to attach to a small tree trunk (which is of course an open squirrel invitation),or you can screw on a metal plate that lets you mount feeder directly into wood - either on the side or bottom. If this works for you great, but for me, squirrels would get into feeder anywhere I could mount it. There is an option for pole mounting, but the problem was that when I went to the bird feed store, none of their poles had threading that matched the feeder. The solution for me was to buy a mounting pole (complete with squirrel baffle here on Amazon for about $50 that had a plate I could attach to the plate that came with the feeder. It was a bit clunky, and worked only because holes needed to attach the two plate (just barely) matched up. I like this feeder a lot, in that it is easy to fill, the camera works well, and solar panel seems to work to keep it charged. Warning here is that you really need to think about how to mount it - maybe others had an easy time, but at least pole mounting is a bit of a task as you work to match pieces from the feeder to the mounting pole. Recommended.
