It's a smaller sized vacuum (I'm assuming more compact sized), but it doesn't disappoint whatsoever. I have two large sized dogs who shed like crazy. One of them being a black lab so all of the clumps of fur she makes is definitely noticeable. I also have two 5 year olds who are still learning how to clean after themselves. This vacuum cleaned ALL of the mess with ease; crumbs, dog food, fur, dust, mud, you name it. You can feel and breathe the difference. I was even able to pick it up and move it with ease whenever I was using the wand extension. It was incredibly easy to assemble. I'm terrible at assembling things and I put it together within a few minutes. It's very light weight and seems very sturdy. For once, I'm actually excited to clean because this vacuum kicks butt and gets the job done the first time! 10/10 would recommend!

Love this vacuum! Easy to assemble, takes 15 minutes. We have 3 dogs and although we vacuum regularly, we vacuumed again on the day we received this and were shocked at how much hair, dirt and dust was pulled from our area rugs! Easy to clean. Great attachments. I hoped it would be a bit lighter but not a big deal.

My vacuum died without notice and the dog hair was already out of control, did some research & decided to try this one even it was so inexpensive compared to my previous two, came really fast- arrived on Sunday & my husband put it to use and Big Wow!!! The amount of hair it picked up was incredulous coming from this small, trauma/rescue dog (can’t brush or comb him or get a collar on him or get to his nails, all a work in progress). I tried it out today & I’m happy I can even push it - I have fibromyalgia & other compromising issues, I like the swivel action, retractable cord & ease of use. My Only issue was it was delivered to the wrong door. Definitely recommend.

Personal info- my old vacuum broke. They usually last about two years tops in my household. I have 3 dogs (a long haired collie + 2 other excessive shedders) and two children (under 3), plus a husband. All women know thats like another kid. Also, vacuuming sucks. One of my least favorite chores-but who has a favorite right? I vacuum every other day if not every day. I don’t normally go for the expensive machines because of how quickly we go through them. This time though, I had my eyes on a high functioning, high powered, expensive quality machine for a weeks. I was hoping for something that would last longer!! While going through all the pros and cons on multiple vacuums and brands, I decided to buy this one until I could find a “really nice one” that I liked enough to pay $300+ on. Save yourself from hours of comparing and buy this one. Like I said, this was my temporary replacement. I ended my research and comparing after I received this in the mail (took 3 days). Best vacuum I’ve ever had. I’ve had at least 5 different machines since becoming a homeowner. All of them have been pretty generic with no features other than function. This vacuum is awesome-especially for the price. I love the automatic rewind, the swivel, the easy removal of the brushes for easy cleaning, the easy dump dirt container, the easy clean/replace filter, the brushes on the side that grab the loose hair near the floor boards, and most importantly the suction. I couldn’t believe how much I picked up with just one rotation in my house! (I used to go over high traffic rooms 2-3 times). BUY IT. I can have a baby on my hip and get the vacuum out, use it, and put it away with ease. Seriously, EASE. Even my husband likes vacuuming but don’t get your hopes up ladies. I can’t promise that for you. If only BISSELL could add the husband feature in the future! It even has a nice suction indicator- I haven’t seen it change from green (good suction) which I assume is a good thing! I will hopefully be able to see it change if the motor isn’t functioning or if something is stuck. I’ve had this machine for 4 months and today it works like it did when I took it out of the box. I’ve cleaned my brushes once and I empty the dirt container after every use. I haven’t had to mess with the filter but it looks like I’ll just have to rinse it. The swivel took some getting used to but I’ve never had a swivel turn vacuum before so that just might be me. I love it now but that’s why I docked a star. Some reviewers mentioned they had trouble maneuvering corners and such but again, it just took some getting used to. I definitely recommend for parents and dog owners as this picks up everything from spilled Cheerios and food crumbs, dog hair, and dirt I thought my old machine should have gotten. I hope this review saves a few buyers from wasting time comparing brands and machines! I feel like I saved a hundred+ dollars by purchasing this. Again, I’ve never had anything more than a $200 machine but I’ll purchase this one again when I have to. It still works great and I expect it to last twice as long as any vacuum I’ve had in the past. This vacuum is the best ! The suction is just phenomenal. I have a lab mix/blue heeler and she sheds like crazy. I have struggled to find a vacuum to pick up all the hair on my fabric couch. This bissell did magic. I didn’t even realize my couch was this bad. It picked up so much more dog hair and dirt that another vacuum couldn’t do. The size of the vacuum is great. Easy to move around. It is an old school vacuum with the cord not the thin cordless ones they are selling these days but it works 100% more better. Recommend to buy if you are wanting a deep clean in your house.

If your like me and check a lot of reviews before buying anything don’t look any further, you have a found a great vacuum cleaner here and the price is reasonable. I have owned a shark for a couple years, and it’s been ok, but less than 3 years, and I only have a small area to vacuum the shark has lost suction and the roller just doesn’t do the job. I checked tons of reviews online and everything I kept seeing showed this model as one of the better. So I got it, and let me tell you what, I just went over my carpet which by the way I had already cleaned with the shark, this new one literally pulled dirt out of the carpet I never knew was there, it’s wider and has a serious suction on the floor, I highly recommend this model 2252

Buy this! I have owned Dysons (Animal and the Ball) and most recently invested in a Shark. This vac beats both in suction and ease of use (swivel handle is awesome!) it’s also very lightweight, which is mind-boggling for how well it sucks up. You don’t have to spend $500+ for a great vac. I’m picking up a second one to keep upstairs. If I *had* to pick on this vac, it’s a bit bulky so I can’t slide it under my bed as far as the others. It also has a much broader floor vac head, which I love, but it means it doesn’t go in between all of the areas my smaller vac did. It just means I have to use the hose attachment a little more often. But overall, I love it.

I’m actually embarrassed to even post these photos. I’ve been using an upright stick vacuum until it broke, so I ordered this Bissell model number 2254L. The dust cup was completely full of pet hair and like an inch of dust after one swipe over. I can’t even believe my area rug was this dirty!! The suction blew me away! We have 2 cats and a dog. I am impressed!

We received this product and I was very happy with how easy it was to put together however, I then tested the vacuum on a low pile rug and within 20 seconds the motor blew and flames appeared from the vacuum, burning and melting the plastic. I have been offered a refund as I believe it is a faulty motor however, the cost of posting the vacuum from Singapore to the USA is simply not worth it.

I’ll try to keep this brief. Got the Dyson ball vac. It’s Dyson, right? What could be better? Well, this Bissell is better! The Dyson is IMPOSSIBLE to pull across carpet, even low pile carpet. So… I dragged the Dyson over my shag area rug section by section and got a workout I really didn’t need or want. It was frustrating and exhausting. There is no way I want to struggle like that every time I do housework. Just ran the Bissell over the same shag rug (and my cat has been staying at my daughter’s so there should be very little to pull up after the Dyson episode) and LOOK! I was momentarily worried it was going to be a problem to push as well, but it turns out it was just a learning curve and not the vacuum trying to permanently affix itself to the rug via overly intense suction. Super easy and effective on low pile carpet and bare floors. Super long cord is really nice to have and the auto rewind is a fantastic bonus. Very happy and highly recommend!

Muy buen producto, tras leer muchos comentarios tuve algunas dudas al final me animé y este es mi resumen. -Excelente succión, no tengo alfombras en la casa sólo un tapete enorme y en realidad hace un excelente trabajo tanto en piso como en tapetes. -La comparamos con una aspiradora Koblenz que tiene mi mamá (según muy potente), después de aspirar con la Koblenz pasé la Bissel y sacó un contenedor completo de basura 😱. -En varios comentarios leí que se ve frágil, no sé de qué plástico indestructible eran las aspiradoras anteriores de ellos pero yo la veo igual que cualquier aspiradora, de hecho se siente resistente. -El accesorio para pelo de perro no sirve, al ponerlo gira de maravilla pero al pasarlo por el sofá o lo que sea se detiene por completo. -La manguera para usar los accesorios es muy corta, al no poderla estirar mucho se te viene encima la aspiradora. -El cable es corto, en la misma habitación tengo que cambiarla de conexión. En general estoy muy satisfecha, sin duda volvería a comprar de ésta marca.
