Admittedly, I was a little skeptical at first of this shredder. The price seemed right but I wondered if it could handle much work. In short, I was wrong. It handles quite a bit (will overheat and reset if too much, but it always snaps back to normal working mode after the allotted time). Best of all, it has a handle; so much easier to remove the top to dump paper shreds. If you're hesitant, don't be, it's a great little tool for the house.

Perfect fit to set between my chair and lamp table. Easy to setup, a bit loud, you would definately hear it across the room, but it's just the size we wanted. The basket fills up pretty quickly if you're doing a lot of disposal shredding, so pay attention to the view window to see level of shredded paperwork. We are satisfied with the efficiency and speed of shredding, but it slows down if you put too much in at one time, so we settled on 3 sheets of paper at a time. It's small, but perfect for small places . We have only been using them for a few days, but so far they have worked exactly like we need them to. We are pleased with our purchase, and the price we paid for the convenience of having chair-side disposal. So far, so good..

This simple shredder does it all for the regular household. It is small enough to fit on a tabletop if needed. I have not experienced any jamming issues & I had a pile of paper to shred when it arrived. After the shredded paper left dust behind, I simply used canned air to clean it off. So far so good.

I like this shredder because it works well. The shredability is not too important to me because I am not shredding secret information. I like to think this is a good value for the money. I went to Walmart and it was cheaper on Amazon. The capacity holds up well too, but I am just shredding junk mail with my personal information on it. I do like that it shuts off once it is done shredding. Buy this as long as you are not shredding confidential information, it works well.

Great paper shredder! My old one was 30 years old and very heavy. This is lightweight so I can easily move it if needed and it crosscyts instead of stripcits.uch more secure and small waste pole! Love it!

I broke my old one and needed a new shredder. This one appeared a little small but came with the shredder and the bottom catcher bin. I was excited to try it. Works well and quickly. Cuts papers well and quickly. It is a tad noisy but like it overall.

It works as expected. It is small/compact size, smaller than an office rubbish bin/trash can, which is perfect to put away in a place where there isn't a lot of space (like my apartment). Works well to shred a few documents at once. I didn't use it for a prolonged period, maybe 10 minutes? And it didn't heat up and didn't shut off. I went safe and made the groups of no more than 4 sheets of paper at once, and it did it quickly with no jamming. However, I was not using it as an industrial shredder, so I wasn't abusing. So, I guess that of you use it properly, you won't have any issues. Great value for the money!

We have an old straight cut shredder that I inherited from my parents and has served us well enough over the years. It has two main drawbacks. It creates a high volume of waste and that waste isn't as securely chopped up of as that of a cross-cut model would be. I saw this model on an Amazon deal and thought I would give it a go. So far I am very pleased with it. It is very well made and can handle more sheets, at a time, than our old model. The resulting waste has much less 'air' in it and so takes up a fraction of the volume of the waste from the old machine. It is cut into confetti sized pieces and so gives a much more secure disposal. It was easy to set up and use and the instructions a very good. Operation is simple and all the functions work perfectly. The supplied flex is quite short and so one either needs to use an extension lead or be prepared to locate it very close to a power socket. I opted for the former and have had no issues. The resultant shredding's would be almost impossible to reassemble and so one does need to be sure/careful before putting anything through the machine. Maintenance requires that you apply lubricating oil from time to time or use 'specially oiled paper'. Neither is supplied with the machine but both are readily available on the Amazon site. The machine comes in two parts, the shredding head unit and the collection box. The head may be packed into the collection box for transport or when it it not in use. This means it would take up relatively little space in an office cupboard or under a desk. I have used this machine for a few days now and it hasn't jammed or let me down. It has happily munches through plastic credit cards, thin cardboard and several sheets of paper. Small paperclips are easily tackled and the waste is easy to dispose of in our paper recycling box. I believe it would also make quite good Papier Mache should that light your fire. So overall, a very good shredder that is a quantum leap better than our old machine. At the time of writing it is available at a very good price and at that price it is a real bargain. I would definitely recommend this machine and would certainly buy another should I need one.

Der Bonsaii Aktenvernichter ist ein guter, preiswerter und leistungsstarker Aktenvernichter! Man kann mehrere Blätter gleichzeitig schreddern, meine Empfehlung ist aber 3 Blätte gleichzeitig zu schreddern, sofern man einiges schreddern möchte. Nimmt man mehr, so dauert es länger und das Gerät wird warm. Bei übermäßiger Nutzung des Geräts verhindert ein Überhitzungsschutz, dass Schäden entstehen. Ebenfalls ist ein Sicherheitsmechanismus mittig angebracht, der zwar verhindert, dass das Gerät permanent läuft (im "Auto"- Modus) und ggf. Missgeschicke geschehen, jedoch kann dies, wenn man nur ein Blatt einzeln schreddern möchte zu mehreren benötigten Anläufen führen. Der Aktenvernichter ist benutzerfreundlich: Einfach Papier in den Einzug einlegen und er zerkleinert automatisch. Der Aktenvernichter ist klein und leicht, so dass er überall dort aufgestellt werden kann, wo er gebraucht wird und ist sowohl für private las auch berufliche Zwecke meiner Meinung nach geeignet. Insgesamt ist der Bonsaii Aktenvernichter ein preiswertes Einsteigerprodukt. Bei größeren Aktenmengen würde ich definitiv ein hochwertiges Produkt empfehlen, aber bei "normalem" Bedarf eine wirkliche Empfehlung!

Powerful, functions really good ,where it stops as soon as shredder and starts up as soon as you place the paper..I was shredding a thick piece of paper cut it beautifully .Only thing though the on and button is little tricky hope it does not break, little hard to slide back and forth... .
