Okay Truck Drivers, so this is in a 2019, Freightliner Cascadia. We all know not every company puts a inverter or fridge in their trucks, and you may not be in a position to wait in line so that some maintenance tech can install your inverter and/or then fridge.... anyhow two weeks in this thing is freaking awesome. Period. Nothing else to say, spend the money and get a fridge/freezer that works in your truck or car with voltage monitoring (yes I tested it, the cutoff works). Swap with ease from truck to truck on a dc 12 volt or keep temp using 120 ac while your in the shop. I was skeptical for the price and have zero regrets. Trust me when I say that if this thing craps out on me I will absolutely update this review.

Love the flexibility to use battery or plug into outlet or cigarette lighter. Cools quickly. Large capacity. Works great for a large gathering w no need for ice! Travels well in my suv and works great for camping

I use this BougeRV 45 liter fridge to replace a Dometic 12 V fridge that had cost twice as much. The Dometic unit's control board went wonky and replacement parts seem to be available only from Australia, so I replaced the unit with this BougeRV fridge. The BougeRV fridge has a big advantage in that it has separate compartments that can be separately controlled. You can have any mixture of fridge/fridge, fridge/freezer, or freezer/freezer. This makes it great as a mobile fridge. Power consumption is modest. I have it mounted in my truck, powered by a group 27 AGM battery that's recharged by a 140 watt solar panel on the roof. It runs 24/7, even on cloudy days. The app for iOS was a bit hard to find, since the fridge's manual doesn't name the app. For the record, the app you want is NOT BougeRV! It's a third-party app called CARFRIDGEFREEZER. It's reasonably well written, and lets you monitor the temperatures of both compartments as well as setting their thermostats.

Look I'll be short and sweet, this is the portable refrigerator to get don't waste your time or money on anything else. My favorite thing about this fridge is actually the app. Normally I'm opposed to downloading yet another app for yet another thing but this one is different. This fridge specifically does not use the bougeRV app, it has its own app (download link in the back of the manual) and it's a shining example of how to make an app. There's no stupid account requirements or advertising. You just connect to your fridge over Bluetooth to gain all the same controls you have on the fridge. Ten years down the line you won't need to worry about bougleRV shutting down their servers because it's all local control (again there isn't even accounts on the app). My only complaint with the fridge is the thermostat wanders a bit (±5°), the battery is expensive (but worth it), and the solar input uses an non discript DC barrel jack (50v/10a max input, working load of the fridge is 50w so 100w solar panel is required).

I purchased this refrigerator knowing it was a lower cost option and should have been more cautious the Bluetooth feature didn't work from the git go and their customer service leaves something to be desired and no solution was offered., I got by without this and the function was great for the first 6 months when the unit began making a noise when running but still cooled. Now it runs all the time and barely maintains temp. BougeRV shows a 1-year warranty, but if you read the fine print, it doesn't cover shipping and only the parts and not the labor, it also states that units are repaired and rarely replaced. I contacted customer service and while they did reply, I have been going round and around with "check this and check that" so I gave up. it isn't cost effective to ship something this large both ways and the possibility of having to pay for repair labor. these are throwaway units and that's exactly what I did. Love this fridge cooler. We use it a lot for camping, road trips, BBQ's, picnics, and as overflow at home. Never need ice which means no mess and more room. Cool or freeze option(s) for both sides or just one side is fantastic. Easy to use, quiet, sturdy. Battery back up is great for camping and picnics.

Works like a charm: - Both sides can be fridge, or freezer, or any combination - Cools quickly enough I use it to bring home perishables from the grocery store, keeping my milk cold and my ice cream frozen - It has made two trip between Knoxville, TN and Colorado Springs, CO with zero issues. - NO MORE COOLER WITH ICE FOR MY TRIPS - No more do I have to move from cooler to hotel fridge, empty ice/water, dry it out, then reverse swap in the morning adding more ice. I also bought a nice folding handcart, so it's out of the SUV onto the cart, strap my bag on it, and wheel it straight into my hotel room where I plug it in. Then right back to the SUV the next morning. - The only issue I have had is user-induced. The unit labels the two compartments as Left (L) & Right (R). Since the lids can be reversed, L & R doesn't always align with the manual. I would label them Large (L) and Small (S). But as I said, that's on me. - Very, very nice product.

I purchased this for my teardrop trailer to replace the 12v bar fridge. I works great. I love that now I can make either side fridge or freezer. This will help me with food storage as I travel across Canada this summer. I will be able to have frozen items in the freezer allowing me to dry camp for much longer. It draws much less power throughout the day than my old refrigerator did.

This cooler was so worth the money! At first I thought it was not very big. The small side easily holds 14 lamb shanks and the large side holds 2-3 turkeys for Christmas. The app is simple but covers all you will ever need. I may have to invest in the battery and solar panel. Only bad thing I could say is the handles look and feel cheap.

I like the versatibility that the dual zone/dual door setup provides me as I can be use it as both left (L) and right (R) compartments as one 2-compartment refrigerator (R+L) or freezer (R+L), a fridge(R)/freezer(L), or a freezer(R)/fridge (L). The hinges on the door can be interchangeable but it will be a bit cumbersome if you use the insulated cover which is sold separately. Settings and status can be conveniently changed and viewed via the CarFridge app over BT. Otherwise, these can be done on the touch panel as well. It comes with the added bonus of a small plastic chopping board, which can be stowed on the larger door compartment; and a USB port for charging electrical devices. Both compartments come with wire racks as well. In about 3 month's worth of use though, a secrion one of the wire rack's coating has cracked now and appears to be showing rust from the metal wire inside. The fridge overall is a great buy for any mobile refrigeration needs. Take note of the external dimensions though so you won't run into any surprises. For reference, the 48qt unit I have takes up about 1/3 of the rear cargo space of a Dodge Journey (in 5 seater mode). I haven't used it with the onboard battery (sold separately) yet though to confirm the claimed run times.

I had a problem with my cooler and I contacted Bouge RV support directly and after a proper troubleshooting, they sent me the replacement parts right away, fixed in couple of days. Very good, Thanks Noya from RV To AMAZON, Again, your delivery guys are not following instruction, my delivery preference is GARAGE DOOR to prevent thiefs, Second, orientation arrows on package are there for a reason, you don't observe these instruction and stuff can be damaged, like AC Compressor missing oil due to bad orientation storage. Need improovement.
