· Dual Zone: This 12V portable refrigerator has a dual zone, so you can control the temperature separately for true dual-zone temperature control. It can be used as both a refrigerator and freezer, but also as a fridge/freezer, refrigerator/freezer, or freezer/freezer. · IceDrive: The Aspen portable refrigerator has a regular dual zone system and an IceDrive system. In addition to having the regular dual zone control system, we have additionally designed the IceDrive system, which keeps the s zone always below 0°F and allows you to store colder foods, such as ice cream · Fast Cooling: The temperature range of both zones is -9℉ to 68℉.In normal dual zone mode, each zone can be cooled from 77℉ to 32℉ in 15 minutes. Once the IceDrive is activated, the S zone can reach 0°F in 30 minutes even faster · Portable Freezer: Our car refrigerator comes with superior off-road wheels(non-slip) and extendable handle, making it more convenient to carry when you go on picnics and excursions · External Battery Design: A special and unique external battery design allows for extra storage space inside the battery-powered fridge, allowing for more capacity to stock up and store more of what you need · 2-Year Tech Support: If you have any questions, please reach out to BougeRV, we provide 2-year tech support for the compressor and all other accessories. (Package included: removable baskets, DC power cord, AC power cord, and user manual)

Using to keep food and drinks cold. Love the wheels, the grab bar for the wheels, and their support team is really responsive. I had a question and they replied with the information I needed, which was some pretty specific technical info on the compressor cycling timing, and thermostat. Had a response answers within 24 hours. Will be buying a second one at some point so I have one for food, and one for drinks.

We have a vintage trailer with a very small fridge. We bought this as an extra fridge. Love that it can be a fridge and/or freezer. We had a bear break into it and amazingly, no damage was done to the unit. He got out hot dogs, chicken and ice cream, but the unit continues to work fine.

After much research, I purchased the dual-system Aspen 50 Pro for the freezing capabilities as my family always seems to have more of a need on that end. Overall, we are happy and have used it several times. I have one "big" disappointment and that is that in the "ice" mode, the freezer section is actually warmer than if I just don't use that mode and set the entire unit's temp (both sections) to zero (0). Not sure why, but it is what it is I guess. Other than that, I would not say that there are any outright issues, but there are some definite pros and cons: Pros: *Works well and keeps temps fairly consistent *Nice internal baskets that are easy to remove *Lower freezer compartment box/lid *Carry AND Drag external handles. Areas to improve: *Could use larger wheels - with the add-on battery, there is a tendency for the battery holder to bottom-out and dislodge the entire battery from the unit. Also, a bit difficult to maneuver even in short grass *The display is easy to read, but maybe a little too simple: there are a few functions that are accessed by holding down buttons for various periods of time, but not too long otherwise it's a different function (that kind of thing). Seems like they should have just added another button for those. *As noted earlier, uncertain on the "Ice" mode as it restricts one zone to higher temps which seems to actually keep the freezer zone warmer that it should be and is if I just set both zones to freezing temps *Wish there was a way to "lock" the add-on battery onto the unit, it just rests on two pegs and if it falls off, unless it makes a noise when doing so, you might not be aware until you are long gone. *Wish the insulated bag worked with the add-on battery attached to the unit

I ordered this to put in my camper van for the summer so I could keep meat frozen. It has run every day since the end of May and hasn't disappointed. I wish the listing had pointed out that the battery wasn't included. I had to order it separately, and in fact I ended up ordering another battery for when we are dry camping. We keep one battery charging on a solar panel while the other runs the fridge. Works perfectly! The freezer compartment keeps things solidly frozen even in temps above 100°. The compartments aren't huge, but have served our needs well. Best purchase I have made all summer!!

I let my cooler sit for 48 hours before starting it. The cooler is well built and cools but the temperature displays are way off by at least 15 degrees. I must use wireless thermometers in each compartment to track what is really going on. I set the fridge display to 25 F to maintain 40 F. I set the freezer display to 0 F to keep the freezer section at 15 F. Then it cools well.

Click to play video Note: There seems to be an issue with this unit as zones do not work well together. As zone 2 was working to get to the target temp, zone 1 fell down to 17 degrees despite setting it to 30 degrees. I’ve ordered a replacement unit and will report back with any changes as well as additional testing. Initial Impressions: - Nicely built. Siding offers little to no flex. Door latches shut to give a better seal than some of their other models. - Smaller handles are soft close that allow for easy loading and unloading - Love the addition of an LED light inside of the unit - Electronic controls are similar in feel and function as other models - Compressor kicks on with very noise similar to that of a dorm-room fridge – buzzy, but very faint. - Longer pull handle has a magnet to ensure that it stays closed and out of the way when not in use - Wheels are a bit small, but do well on paved surfaces Testing: - Ambient temp: 66 degrees - Initial fridge temp: 64 - Target temp: 30 - Power source: Wall outlet - Mode: Max - Time to get zone 1 (fridge side) to target temp: 35 mins, 22 seconds - Time to get zone 2 (fridge/freezer side) to target temp: 54 mins, 26 seconds. - initial cool down time takes almost 15 minutes longer for a single zone than some of their other models.

So far on our first trip, can't complain. One thing we are not sure is the temperature displayed is about 9 degrees Celsius lower then a thermometer that we pout inside. We did the test with 3 deferent thermometer with the same results.
