I've had a Panasonic Electric Shaver and Trimmer for Men ES8103S shaver before - and it worked way past the warranty time. Like 10 years after I bought it!!! I had to change the shaver head once since the foil has some little holes, but it was holding up just fine. AND it was still working in 2023, when I decided I should probably splurge for a newer shaver. Got to change my review to 5 stars. The shaver is still fine - as good as electric razor goes. I just need to make sure the outlet I'm charging it in - is actually worked and not tripped off. Thank you Braun warranty folks who reminded me of that :)

Update Nov 12, 2020: The razor suddenly stopped working about five weeks ago. When I plugged it in to charge a flashing small red battery symbol appeared on the handle. I sent a service request to Braun on their website along with a copy of the Amazon invoice. Braun quickly sent shipping instructions along with a prepaid UPS shipping label. A new replacement razor arrived from Braun about two weeks later. This replacement razor is more powerful and runs faster like my original 7 year old razor (which still runs great). The replacement also runs much longer on a charge. Obviously the first razor that failed was defective from the start and I am very pleased with the performance of its replacement. Braun service was easy to use and I am still a fan of Braun products and I highly recommend this razor. I purchased this razor to replace my 7 year old model 7. I like this series of Braun razors because they have an electronic motor instead of the old brush motors still used by other brands. I use foam shaving cream and water with these razors for a superior shave. I had used Panasonic razors prior to my first Braun but they had to be replaced every year or two when water got in the case. I replaced my 7 year old Braun because it didnt seem to give a close shave and even new replacement heads did not improve the shave. This new Braun series is quiet and it seems to run a little slower than the older model. I have found it best to move the shaver a little slower and it cuts close with fewer passes. I it says three weeks of battery life but I think that would be true if you just have peach fuzz. I would guess a weeks worth on one charge is about right bit I charge about every three days since I probably run ten minutes per shave. It will give a very close shave and it is totally waterproof so shave in the shower if you like. Excellent quality and worth every penny that it costs. Recommend any brand of shaving cream for a really fine shace.

I had a series 3. It served me well. The battery was getting weak (lower run time) and then part came apart. Time for a new one. It was delivered within 8 hours. Yay! I appreciate that they include a case with this time, but I have the beard trimmer and a charging cable. I put the bead trimmer in there, resting next to the shaver head (microscreen), bad idea. the cable isn't going to fit. Braun is known for their design, and everything should fit in the case, where it belongs, ready for a last minute departure. I thought the company would have switched to USB charging, being a European company. Propriety plugs in 2024? Even Apple with their good design, switched to USB on the phones. Braun, should too. The S7 hardware is nice, perhaps a little bit nicer than my S3. The "Precision Trimmer" works great for shaving my head. It's as big as the trimmer on my S3. Solid unit. It shaves better than the S3, which probably has a dull blade. Perhaps I should to shell out for a replacement blade unit for $50 in 18 months or so. It's just so expensive. I appreciate that you can get a shave after 5 minutes of charging. But why can't it run while plugged in? Conspiracy to have us buy a new unit when the battery dies? I'm happy with the unit (Shaves well, cleans easy, long battery life so far). Just not 100% pleased with with the total experience.

I have been a lifelong safety razor shaver. My grandson encouraged me to try this electric razor. I was reluctant because previous electric razors had been negative experiences. But this Braun electric razor has been great. No skin irritation and a nice smooth shave.

I use this as both a face and head shaver, so keep that in mind. I use Cremo shave cream with any shaver I use. Also, I've used quite a few models of shavers, and IMO Panasonic 5 blade units are a good metric to compare to. Likes: The head the pretty compact, which is good for both face and head shaving. For head shaving, compact heads are great for working near your ears and on the back of your neck. For face shaving, your nose. Battery life is as good as all of the Panasonic units I've used (3,4 and 5 blade models) and charging time is fast. Its pretty easy to clean. The blades, when new, are great for face shaving, IMO better than the Panasonic. When new. Also, I've found that with my Panasonic, I can occasionally get an ingrown hair or two on my cheeks, that never happened with the Braun. Also, the shaver can survive a drop, it accidentally fallen off my shower shelf twice and survived both drops. Dislikes: The blades aren't quite as good as Panasonics blades for head shaving. They wear out extremely fast. Panasonic blades can last almost a year, and that's with both face and head shaving. The foil on the first set of Braun blades wore out in 4 months. The foil on the second set wore out in 3, then I bought another Panasonic shaver. The compact head does mean that the blades have to do more work, so the shaver can bog down at times, where the Panasonic would power through. If you're *only* using it for face shaving, I'd recommend it. However, if there isnt a great price difference between it and a Panasonic 5 blade model, or if you also need it for a head shaver, I'd go for the Panasonic.

Es un producto de muy buena calidad, se siente en los materiales y sobre todo al usar la afeitadora disfrutas mucho su efectividad. Me sorprendió los bien que rasura al ras, tanto como un rastrillo de alta gama. Es muy fácil de cargar, efectivamente en una hora tiene carga completa. Me afeito cuatro veces a la semana y desde hace un mes que la tengo, no he necesitado cargarla de nuevo. A mi me funcionó a la perfección rasurarme sin agua y sin espuma, no me irrita y sobre todo veo que la barba que cortas es más fácil de remover de la cuchilla cuando te afeitas en seco. Simplemente es una maravilla y la recomiendo muchísimo.

O melhor barbeador do mundo! Infinitamente melhor do que os da Philips, que usei durante anos. Este da Braun faz o barbear que todos os outros barbeadores deveriam fazer e não conseguem, e vale cada centavo. Corta os pelos em poucas passadas, sem esforço e sem deixar a pele irritada (ao contrário dos barbeadores Philips). É o melhor barbeador do mundo com toda certeza!! Braun é Braun.

la recibí rápido vino bien empacado esta es la tercer rasuradora que compro esta liviana y rasura bien! al menos a mi me a funcionado perfecto llevo una semana con ella. es serie 7000 me lleve una gran sorpresa tengo una modelo 9000 misma marca y estoy contento con ella llevo ya un año con la anterior serie 9000 sin problema, compre este modelo 7000 por el precio me pareció bueno el precio tenias dudas al ser un modelo mas atrasado con el modelo que ya tenia desde hace un año no le pide nada y en comparación con el precio si es mucho de un modelo a otro, la compre para los viajes es mas liviana pero confiable asta ahora , mi primera rasuradora fue Philips seri 8000 pero se rompió el cabezal a los 12 meses por eso cambie a Braun
