I just upgraded from an older Braun shaver that I've had for ~25 years - this feels like I've gone from a horse & buggy to a modern super car. The shave I get is as good or better than with a blade, with no skin irritation. The pop-up trimmer does an excellent job of trimming sideburns and errant moustache hairs. That said, the unit looks good and is easy to operate. The included charging/cleaning station works well, keeping the shaver clean and smelling good. The included carrying case is a convenient way to store the shaver when not in use.

Delivers a good comfortable shave without skin irritation - unusual for an electric on my sensitive skin. Ultra high marks on how long it holds a charge. The basic model meets my needs without the frilly charging cradle, etc.

This is a upgrade from 2 models ago. It is amazing as a shaver. I use it 4 or 5 days in a row and then I do a cream/bladed shave. Gets the face really well and the neck well enough. Vs. the older model ,the trimmer is horrible. I used to trim my pits and other areas with the older models. This one I can barely trim my sideburns.

Very smooth. It’s perfectly comfortable on the skin. Fantastic compared to my rotary type. It’s hard to get the ones laying flat, but that’s what the built-in Precision Trimmer is for. I’m sure the high precision components make the price go up. But a 2 year warranty compensates for that. It’s a little loud, but It’s fantastic.

Had a Panasonic but love this razor much more. It's a much closer shave.

My old Braun shaver needed replacement and the new one did not disappoint. Very smooth clean shave.

This replaced my old Braun Series 5 electric razor, which was functioning well after 8 years...until I dropped and broke it. My only, minor quibble with this new version is that there's no indicator on the charging/cleaning base showing when it was last put through the cleaning cycle. At first, I thought there was a malfunction, because the base shows the indicator panel, but it never lit up. But after re-reading the less than clear instruction manual, I realized that this model lacks this function. Oh, well. Everything else works perfectly, and this razor shaves me as well or better than my old one.

Shaves okay but is much louder than previous models. Pop-up trimmer less satisfactory, also.

Je l’utilise tout les jours, et honnêtement le meilleur rasoir électrique que j’ai testé. La station de nettoyage et de recharge est particulièrement satisfaisante. Le rasage est propre et doux, plutôt rapide aussi. Je n’ai pas spécialement une barbe drue, mais le série 9 existe pour ça.

I originally used electric shavers in the 1980's but have been using blades and cream since then. A much better experience these days and no cord when shaving. This shaver is amazing and provides a very close alternative to blades. I like its portability and vanity top charger that automatically turns off upon achieving the full charge level so that the shaver is always ready to go. With the advent of unjust price increases and unsavory straight blade manufacturing origins, I wanted something from an alternative source. I chose manufactured from Germany for its unmatched quality reputation. It is everything I hoped for in an electric shaver. Although not owned by Germans it is a worthy investment for my personal hygiene needs.

My husband was initially putting pressure while shaving but realised it didn't need that so it became a breeze now. Works well and he's enjoying the efficiency and ease of shaving now.
