bit pricey but worth the cost. Have been using it for about 6 months now and loving everything minute of it. It shaves comfortably and closely. No skin irritation which has been a problem for me with other electric shavers. This one is a keeper for me. Using it every other day to keep my growth under control. Highly recommend it.

I have been using Braun electric shavers for many years. I purchased the Series 9 Pro four months ago. This is the best in a long line of very good products. It provides a very close shave quietly, comfortably and effectively. In addition the cleaning mechanism has improved also. I don’t usually write reviews about products that I have used for a long time but the Series 9 Pro is exceptional.

Unbelievable! I've always have a tough beard. Barbers hate me and I usually go days without shaving now that i'm retired. This Braun Series 9 knocks down 5 days' growth quickly and smoothly. I'm on my 4th full-face shave and the battery level has not dropped. No irritation at all and no need to use my Braun detail shaver. The only complaint is the position and sensitivity of the on/off switch. The first shave I cut the shaver off way too many times. After my 4th use i've adjusted how I hold the shaver and managed to hit the on/off button only once. This is by far the best shaver I've ever owned!

- I have been using this Braun Series 9 PRO+ Electric Razor for about 6 weeks now for a total of about a dozen or so times. - I am pretty impressed with the actual shave it provides. Some come out better than others but it my be a learning curve on my end. Although I really have to go over all areas with multiple passes. To do it nicely it takes a good 4 to 5 minutes. - I usually use AFTA Pre-Shave before using this razor which seems helps with the "lift" of the facial hairs. However, a few times I did not use any pre-shave lotion and it seemed to do just fine that way too. - I have not even tried the automatic cleaning station yet. But I do keep in super clean by removing the blade assembly and then gently tap all hair out of the cutter blades and unit AND then I reinstall the blade assembly on the unit and rinse under running water as instructed. I pat everything dry and then keep both pieces (blade assembly and unit) separated to air dry on a paper towel for 12 to 24 hours, Sounds like a lot of work but it really isn't. Braun provides a TINY AND CHEAP cleaning brush (Braun should be embarrassed at the tiny size and cheapness of this brush!) which I've used twice. - The pop-up trimmer is "okay", I feel its more of a selling "add-on". I find on an occasional shave where the Braun Razor wouldn't get (near sideburns, under nostrils) I can quickly use a cheap, dry twin blade disposable razor which works quicker and better than the pop-up trimmer. - I like this electric razor but if I had to purchase it again knowing what I know now, I would save about $75 to $100 by purchasing a similar but older Braun model (which are on sale much more often). - Reason for the 4 stars and not 5 (and 3 stars "Value for Money") is like so many online reviewers (at popular shaving sites) mentioned, the overall quality feels plasticky, cheap, and a little lightweight. - For $315.00 I would like to expect similar quality to my KitchenAid Mixer or my Kirby Vacuum. Its no where near the same feel, fit, or finish.

This is my second Braun Series 9. The first was confiscated when I accidentally packed it in my checked luggage on an international flight. I really like the close shave it delivers, however the shave quality does deteriorate as the blades wear. The shaver is easy to clean, and charges quickly. Just a warning - if you fly pack it in your carry-on bag, not checked bag.

I’ve been using the Braun Series 9 PRO+ for a few weeks now, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The shave is incredibly smooth, thanks to the 5 Pro Shave Elements that effortlessly adapt to every contour. It handles both long and short hairs with ease, and the precision trimmer is perfect for detailing. The 6-in-1 SmartCare Center is a game-changer—it cleans, charges, and lubricates the razor, so it’s always ready to perform at its best. I also love the wet and dry functionality, as it makes shaving in the shower convenient. The battery life is impressive; I easily get multiple shaves out of a single charge. This is hands down the best electric razor I’ve ever owned. If you’re looking for top-notch performance and a premium shaving experience, this is the one to get! Highly recommend!

I used an electric shaver prob 15 years ago maybe longer. Just didn't give a close shave for me so went to double edged safety razor. Thought I would give the Braun series 9 Pro a try after all these years as I had seen a lot of positive reviews. I was totally amazed at how close a shave you get with this Braun series 9. The shaver technology has really come a long way. Only have to make a few passes and it shaves right to the skin so it's nice and smooth. It is a very expensive shaver tho. I can buy enough double edged safety razors to last a year for about $10. The convenience is worth it I think. I can sit on the couch and watch TV now while I shave! No mess like wet shaving. Overall I am happy with the Braun series 9 pro. Only real drawback is that it's so pricey.

I bought this as a replacement for my aging Braun Series 5 Model 8000 that I bought when it first came out. At the time, it was pretty much the top of the line and it has served me well for many, many years. Aside from the clipper in back, which finally snapped, it still works, though it really shows its age. Over the years, I replaced the blades and foil many times and I decided that the next time I needed to replace the foil & cutter assembly, I'd just get a brand new razor. I expected the Series 9 Pro+ to be an improvement, but I was surprised by how big of an improvement it is. I deliberately didn't shave for a few days just before receiving the razor, to put it to the test. The Series 5 would have been uncomfortable at this length and I would normally have done a pass with the clipper first to give it a hand. I gave the Series 9 no chance and set it straight to the days-old beard, and it went through so smoothly that, for a second, I wondered if the foil had just slid over my beard, but no. The beard was gone where the razor passed. I was quite impressed. Now, while this is the best electric razor I've ever tried, it still doesn't stand up to a fresh razor blade. The shave isn't as close as a blade (and we shouldn't really expect it to be), and while the first pass does a good job, I need to do multiple passes to get my skin feeling smooth, especially in the throat area. But it's still fast and comfortable. I alternate between a blade when I show my face to people, and the electric razor on lazy days. This Series 9 will probably get a few shifts on non-lazy days.

I upgraded from the Braun Series 7 to the PRO+ Series 9 9567, and it’s been a big step up. The shaving experience is much better—smoother and faster. It’s also lighter, which makes it easier to handle, and the updated display and dock are nice touches. Overall, I’m really happy with the upgrade.
