I would agree with some of the other reviews, replacing an existing fan with this one can be a bit more challenging as this one is designed to have full access from the rafters below with the ceiling opened. With some planning the installation challenges can be mitigated if you are doing a replacement like I did, but it still had its points during installation that wasn't fun, unfortunately the wiring was also on the opposite side from the old one and the new one is on the side in a cramped spot in the attic with poor accessibility so it required some prewiring of some lengths of Romex before setting it in place, so keep that in mind too if it is going to be in an area in the attic that will make the wiring hard to access. The exhaust fan works great, and is much quieter and more powerful than the one it replaced, I think the old fan was undersized as there was always still lots of moisture on the walls and ceiling and it was starting to cause mold issues (why proper CFM is important), but this one keeps the moisture in the bathroom during even a hot shower to almost nothing now. The LED light is very bright, we run the fan off a timer while we shower and many times we don't need to turn on the main lighting in the bathroom when this is on. The heater works pretty good, it seems like it is a little louder than I would have expected and noticed a slight vibration sound when it is on, but it has heat coming out almost instantly. I did an amp check with the heater on and it draws just a bit over 12A, it calls for a 20A circuit and 12 AWG wire for the heater and that's exactly what I used and pay close attention if you are going to use a timer for the heater and make sure it is rated for it.

Good product. Works as described. For retrofit, ensure the size fits your existing opening as the installer had to cut into the ceiling. Powerful and quiet exhaust and good heater. recommend product!

Nice heater that warms med size bathroom quickly. The noise level is low and the installation wasn't complicated. It funtions well.

Very difficult installation. Flanges cannot overlap the sheetrock and bend just by holding the unit with your hands. It required stiff insulation on all sides to hold it in place horizontally and I had to shim the built in supports to get the right height.

The heater is so amazing on the cold mornings are the shower. Even just turning it on while getting ready hears up the bathroom nice and toasty. The fan is also much stronger than my previous fan that could barely hold 1 sheet of toilet paper from the airflow suction.

Great fan quiet and powerful no more steamy bathroom. And the heat is a great feature. Installation is a challenge because it is made for new construction but careful planning it can be done. Great company pricing is the cheapest and shipping is the fastest.

Reading the negative reviews on this product leaves me puzzled. Yes it was a bit of a challenge to install but not all that bad and not any worse than the last one I put in. No, it doesn't come with switches but if you can't but switches and install them yourself you SHOULD call an electrician. Noise level is just fine, if you are moving air there will be some noise. I love the look, it throws heat instantly, draws a good level of air through the vent and the light is super.

I got 4 of these in May, and I finally got a certified electrician from the power company to install it today. The only problem is that the heat fan doesn't work. Really? The electrician identified the problem as the fan being permanently stuck. The issue was from the product setting in a warehouse or on a ship in very hot conditions for an extended period. He used a second item we ordered and manipulated the fan enough to get it to spin and work, but he could not guarantee that the product would continue to work. But since we are out beyond 30 days to return the items, I bought 4 of them, and I'm stuck with at least one of four items being unusable. Because of the heat today, he can't place the other two in, so I'll let you know if the other two fans have the same problem once he gets them up.
