Replaced a basic light with this fan in our vacation home in a dry climate. When we built I was in a rush and didn't think we needed a fan so I just ran one 15a circuit for a light. I wasn't looking forward to crawling into the attic and figuring out how do drop another run of Romex to the switch box so we could control the light and fan separately. So I searched to see if there were exhaust fans with remote controls. Much to my surprise this Broan has the remote that mounts like a traditional wall switch and also color changing LED and speaker. Didn't care out the speaker but it was cheaper than the model without so I gladly paid the $199 so I wouldn't have to run additional electrical. The fan is very powerful and keeps the bathroom steam free even with a hot shower. But best of all the LED light is extremely bright. You can dim it if it's too bright. I'll address some of the negatives I have seen about this light. I think they are from people who haven't taken the few minutes to figure out how it works. The top button on gang box Bluetooth remote always turns the light on to white. It's push on or push off so easy to operate in the dark. The small rocker buttons below the top button dim/brighten the light. The middle button turns on the color mode by pushing and holding briefly. It turns on the last color used. From there you use the same button left or right to change the color. Press again and hold for a couple seconds and it goes into color changing mode. Push the top button and you go back to white. The dimmer buttons also dim the lights in color mode. The bottom button turns the fan on/off. One speed only like most fans. There is no timer function from the remote but the app does have a timer function. Selectable from 5 - 60 minutes. The rest of the app is pretty basic allowing you to turn the light or fan on/off, dim lights, change colors and create color changing scenes. The app doesn't have an option for updating firmware so I wouldn't hold you breath for additional features. We probably won't use the app much. I would have bought the model without the speaker if it was cheaper. Once you make the Bluetooth connection it stays connected even with the app closed. So you will hear typing clicks (at least using an Iphone). It would be nice if it disconnected the BT connection automatically when the app is closed. The app has no control over the speaker. It's just like a basic BT speaker. But it does sound decent for what it is. The BT connection doesn't automatically connect which is a good thing. It would be very annoying if it did. As far as Installation goes the instructions are poor but it installs the same as any other fan so Youtube is helpful. I used the $20 wall vent kit and vented it into our garage which has a 20' ceiling. One less hole in the roof. I've been venting our on demand hot water heater this way for years with no problems. I would choose this fan even for new construction as the color LED option is nice and it compliments our other lights with Kasa color changing bulbs. So even though it's expensive compared to a tradition exhaust fan/light I give it 5 stars.

We love this exhuast fan for our bathroom! The sound is VERY quiet, there are not one but two lights (one white, and one you can make any color of the rainbow for special effects bathroom!), and you can play your music on the speaker. The controls are very intuitive; our contractor installed them on the wall rather than having a remote control that could get lost. The sound through the speaker is good. This seems like very good quality in terms of its build and it was straightforward to install. It seems to work quite well to clear up the steam in the bathroom as well. In fact we liked it so much, we purchased it for our other newly-renovated bathroom.

I have bought one for every bathroom after installing the first one. Good speed fan with good airflow and lower noise. Color options add to ambiance or holidays

I’ve had this product for a year in my kids bathroom and they love it. The lights are great we almost always have them on. Fan works well too when we need it. We loved the option for the Bluetooth music and would do fun theme nights. Unfortunately the Bluetooth and speaker no longer work after one year. That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

So I spent a ton of thought and time on this install. Problem is, after 3 days of work, I ended up with a bath fan that has a high-pitched audible whine when the light is off. Not sure what to do because Amazon only offers a return. So I'd have to completely uninstall everything to send it back. I believe the LED light has a bad driver, and it sounds like this is a common issue. I do have some ideas though that may help anyone who wants to roll the dice on this bath fan/speaker combo. The original fan was installed before the drywall. So I had to cut a larger hole to get it out. So I bought a PVC sheet from the home store, cut it to size, and cut a hole in the center using a utility knife and square (see pictures). If, like me, you end up with an extra outlet, search here for "night light outlet". It should be the first product that comes up (see pictures). It gives you something functional to put in the extra slot. Pros: - I like the speaker a lot. I always listen to podcasts/videos in the shower, and the speaker is the reason I bought it. This works well. - The light and having RGB choices is nice. You can create a relaxing vibe. - The fan works well and keeps the bath clear of steam/moisture. Cons: - The mentioned high-pitched whine is very annoying. It's all I can hear/ think about now when I use the bathroom. - The app gives options to have the LEDs be different colors, but this doesn't work. For example, one says "rainbow" but all I get is a purple light. Not sure if this is connected to a bad LED driver. - The fan is louder than the old one. But this is a not a big deal when using the speaker. - There seems to be some cross-talk with the switch/remote. For example, I just hit the fan on button and the RGB light turned on. Ultimately, this fan is a very mixed bag, and after all the effort, it has become a stressful purchase. For me, if you spend good money on something and it stresses you out, that's a 1-star product.

J'ai acheté ce nouveau ventilateur afin de remplacer l'ancien qui était installé dans ma salle de bain. Je ne peux évaluer moi-même la facilité d'installation car j'ai fait appel à un électricien professionnel pour retirer l'ancien ventilateur et installer ce nouveau Broan-NuTone AER110RGBL ChromaComfort 110 CFM qui a nécessité d'agrandir l'espace prévu pour l'installer. L'installation a pris exactement 1 heure 45 minutes. Après, tout fonctionne bien. Le ventilateur lui-même n'est pas trop bruyant, par rapport à l'ancien, le système de lumière est très intéressant, car on peut choisir des atmosphères de couleur très variées. On peut aussi utiliser son smartphone pour activer à distance, via un WIFI, le ventilateur et les options d'allumage et de programmation des couleurs. Donc, un choix excellent, un peu dispendieux, mais pour moi, ça en vaut la peine car ce modèle permet de moderniser l'ambiance de la salle de bain. Je le recommande donc, malgré son prix plus élevé par rapport à des modèles plus simples, si on souhaite donner une touche plus actuelle et tendance en matière d'éclairage.

We love this fan. What a great addition to the bathroom. The lights are cool, and the sound is great. Fan isn't very loud either. Only downside is the sides are slotted, and you can see up into the ceiling hole.

installation facile !

Installation au dessus de la douche. Finalement le contrôleur est Bluetooth et on peut même faire fonctionner dun app sur nos appareils intelligents. Par contre, le bouton pour faire partir le ventilateur ne fonctionne pas tjrs :/ tandis que la lumière fonctionne a chq coup pour éteindre et allumer. Toutefois, aucun problème noté a partir de l’application.
