· Umbrella-Shaped Structure Sturdy Base: We add three thick metal support bars to the base to provide additional support for the entire guitar stand. Tripod legs extend farther outwards for a steadier footing. Anti-slip rubber feet to hold a firm grip on the floor. Once the guitar stand is installed and put the guitar in place, it will be very stable and has no chance of falling over. The height of the base is adjustable from 5.1"-8.7". · Height Adjustable Guitar Stand: Compared with traditional guitar stands, the biggest feature of this guitar stand is that it can be rotated to adjust the height from 30.7"-37". There is also a fixing screw on the top of the guitar stand to ensure that the guitar stand head wont bend. · Reinforced Guitar Stand: According to the voice of our valued customers, we have strengthened the connection between the cradle and the bracket. All the points of guitar and the stand in contact are wrapped with thick sponge. The delicate and thoughtful design is all about protecting each musical instrument. · Thick and Universal Arms: Different from the flat and straight shape of guitar arms, CAHAYA floor guitar stand has uneven supporting arms, which could firmly fix both thin and thick instruments without the risk of sliding and scratching. Very suitable for acoustic, electric guitars, bass, 6 and 12 string guitars, banjo, mandolin, etc. Higher cradle is also fits for V-shaped guitars. This review covers two CAHAYA products: - 5 in 1 Dual Use Sheet Music Stand - Guitar Stand Floor Universal I bought them together, use them together, and have similar feedback on them, so am cross-posting this review for both products. I am an amateur, non-gigging player and have no need of (and cannot afford!) professional quality stands. However, I am tired of purchasing lower-end products that are poorly-designed and poorly manufactured using inferior materials. CAHAYA has hit the sweet spot offering decent quality stands at affordable prices. This music stand came as part of a kit including a desktop adaptor, travel bag, music clip, and sheet music folder. Personally I have little use for the folder, but it's a nice touch to include it. The desktop adaptor and clip work well when you need them. The bag is great and I use it whenever I need to quickly vacate the family room for visitors. It even accommodates my CAHAYA guitar stand. Everything (except the sheet music folder) breaks down quickly and goes into the bag in about a minute. The most important piece--the music stand itself--is well-designed and well-manufactured. Most important for me is that it easily accommodates thick three-ring binders full of music. It adjusts to any height I need, whether sitting or standing. For daily, same-location amateur use, this music stand kit is a bargain. If you expect to break it down, pack it up, throw it in a vehicle and reassemble it several times a week, you should probably go more high-end. (But if you just don't have the budget to do so, this kit can probably survive some length of pro service as long as you don't abuse it ) The CAHAYA Universal Floor Guitar Stand is similar to the music stand in terms of materials, reliability, and value: an absolute bargain for a single-location amateur. If you expect to set it up in different venues every week where it might get knocked over by a drummer stumbling toward his or her kit or by a drunk audience member, you should probably go more high-end. But this stand is light years better than some of the products that are just $10 cheaper. Some people complain that it holds the guitar too high, making it too unsteady. I was a little concerned about this at first, but I use it for a relatively heavy bass, and have never had a problem. In fact, the cradle appears to be high to accommodate the adjustable tripod legs, so it was designed this way for a reason. My only minor complaint is that you need to completely remove bolts, knobs, nuts, and washers when fully collapsing the stand. If you expect to be doing this a lot, there's a good chance you're going to drop and lose a piece at some point. Otherwise, this stand is a great solution for anybody on a budget that won't be abusing their equipment.

I was looking for a ‘locking stand’ for a cello as per my child’s teacher’s suggestion, so it is out and makes it more likely to be practiced. All the *cello* locking stands were entirely beyond my current budget. Then I saw that this one had good reviews as a guitar stand and looked big enough for our 3/4 cello, as it is big enough for certain bass guitars. The price point was perfect and it is just big enough. The stand is solid and feels stable. It was reasonably easy to set up. The cello feels secure on the stand, and it seems quite easy to lock and unlock. Mama is happy, kiddo is happy, cello will be practiced more…well, we can live in hope, eh?!

The stand holds the guitar securely while keeping the neck almost vertical allowing me to place the guitar close to a wall without the guitar hitting the wall This is definitely a space saver. The stand itself is made of steel and the neck support is adjustable so it can accommodate most any stringed instrument. I did have an issue with the rubber retaining strap but Cahaya's customer service resolved the issue in less than a week. I would definitely recommend this stand to anyone looking for a solid, reasonably priced guitar stand.

Good size and feels sturdy enough with easy assembly, my only concern is that the threads on the lower arm were already very rusty when I unpacked them- meaning the metal is very cheap and any damage to the finish would result in quick rusting- but the parts that actually touch the guitar are lined with foam so I am not too concerned about that damaging my instrument- overall a decent budget choice for a stand we will keep on stage for occasional use

Have to say for $14 dollars I was surprised at quality. Have fine classical guitar. Surfaces on stand are padded nicely where guitar rests. Also fits well, and is secure and sturdy.

I purchased this stand for my bass ukulele. The stand is lightweight, but sturdy enough to hold an instrument. The neck height is adjustable, which is why it is great for other than guitars. The neck holder is padded with a tab that clicks into place to secure the neck. The arms that your instrument sits on is padded also and has an upward bend to ensure no slipping. I honestly believe this is the best stand for the cost; I would recommend this instrument stand.

This guitar stand was purchased about a month prior to my son's birthday. When he received it, and proceeded to assemble it, we found that it had a manufacturing defect which made it unusable. Unfortunately, the Amazon return date had expired, so I felt that I would have to try and fix the mechanical issue myself. But after leaving a bad product review I was contacted by the seller, Elite Vender, who expressed their desire to make things right. They are replacing the product even though it is past the return date. Manufacturing errors can happen to any company. I am grateful that this seller stands behind their product. Manufacturing defect aside, I believe the guitar stand is priced well and will serve our needs.
