I’m giving these five stars because they’re pretty and not at all scary. I’m the last person to review knives based on quality and sharpness because knives terrify me. This set is a mild, serene color and it has guards to protect against accidental injuries as well as blade damage. I had opportunities to use the paring knife and the bread knife so far and both were sharp enough without making me feel like I was using a scalpel. The handles fit well in my small hands and they’re comfortable to use. The handles are soft and they did have a slight odor, but that faded after vinegar was used to clean the handles and they were hand washed with regular dish soap. This set is quite pretty. The blades have an attractive color and pattern and the soft handles have a wood grain pattern. The guards compliment both. They look very nice in a drawer. The set contains enough knives to take care of most kitchen needs, so it’s a versatile set. And it looks great with the stainless/wheat straw cutting board I recently bought on sale.

They are sharp but not to sharp for cutting stuff nicely they will cut you finger well!! lol But I would sharpen these up more I have worked with Quality knifes and these are just cheap and nice looking to add to your pantry but I think I should of just spent money on a better good knife.
