I am impressed with this set! It comes with everything you need including a nice caddy to keep it all handy on your countertop. It would be a great starter set or housewarming present because it really has everything! The utensils are very nice, they are completely covered in silicone, they are comfortable to grip, non-stick, and soft.. there is no way you could scratch anything with these. They have some substance to them... and are not as flexible as the plastic utensils I have, so I think there is a core inside them that is harder than the silicone exterior. They are easy to wash if you wash them by hand, and they are also dishwasher safe. I will normally wash them by hand if I just have one pan and one spatula to wash, but if it was a whole big project, I will just put everything in the dishwasher, and these utensils have not been a problem either way. The measuring cups and spoons are just inexpensive sets, but they get the job done. The measurements are molded into the plastic so you will always know what they are. I have some sets where the measurements were printed on them and the printing wore off over time and now I don't know if it's a 1/4 cup or a 1/3 cup.. it's annoying, so I'm glad this set doesn't have that issue. The can opener is just a cheap one, and I'm not too impressed by it. you have to be VERY careful with it because the round blade sticks out when it's folded up and you can scratch your countertop with it, so be careful how you lay it down! Countertops are easier to scratch then you think they are, so don't even ever lay the can opener down on your countertop at all. Open your cans, wash it and put it away, if you set it down you risk it ending up oriented with the blade down where it could scratch your countertop very easily. It does work, but I have a much better can opener I will be using. I think it worth mentioning, but it's not a big enough part of the set to deduct a star over. Overall it's a really nice set, just be careful with the can opener. The silicone utensils work really well and the caddy looks nice on my countertop.

This 26 piece silicone cooking utensils set from CAROTE is a pretty good value. When I ordered it, the list price was $69.99 and at the time of writing this review, it seems to be 43% off at $39.99. You basically get a nice matching set of utensils and tools to fill up a utensil holder and maybe a kitchen drawer. To break down this set, you get a 7 utensils with a wooden handle which are a spoon, slotted spoon, spatula, slotted spatula, soul ladle, pasta spoon, and a whisk.. The wood is light weight and a natural color and it feels like there is probably some hidden stainless steel which is fully covered by the BPA free heat resistant silicone. They do really feel good in your hand and are easy to clean and have holes in the handles if you want to hang them. The colors are all pretty light and neutral like cream, beige, and milk chocolate. Then you have some typical silicone utensils and tools. They seem to be stainless steel layered completely under silicone. I would say there are about 7 tools in that category which are : a potato masher, round spatula, large spatula, small spatula, jar spatula, basting brush, and a set of tongs. The final category is just plastic and nothing special but they make up most of the quantity count in this set at 12 pieces : 5 measuring cups on a ring, 6 measuring spoons on a ring, and an egg separator. In terms of quality, it is actually quite nice and they are great for cooking on non-stick cookware and you don't have to worry about them melting like plastic. In a sense you are getting about 14 actual silicone "tools" and 12 cheap plastic things that don't add too much value but more just quantity count. Even at a price point of $39.99 it comes out to about a couple dollars per tool + negligible plastic stuff. All of the stuff will be pretty useful to have in the kitchen even if you don't use them daily.

This set of cooking utensils has everything you need to outfit your kitchen. They feel very durable and should wash easily in the dishwasher or by hand. The colors are very nice muted shades and they look great in the container provided. The measuring cups are just plastic but should work fine for measuring. I took one star off for the can opener. It doesn't feel as sturdy as the rest of the pieces and when I opened and closed it didn't always line up properly. Overall it’s a great set at a good price point for a new home or apartment or to replace old, worn out utensils.

I really like this set. My old nylon utensils were needing replacement and are honestly a bit flimsy because nylon isn't very rigid, so I was looking at replacing them with silicone ones. I really liked a couple of turners I had bought and when I saw this full set I jumped on it. All of the tools except as noted below feel like they are silicone with a steel rod core for rigidity, which also makes them a lot heavier than your typical ones. Personally I like the heft, and they are very sturdy. I made a LARGE batch of butter chicken and there was no deflection or bend in the handles of the spoon or ladle, and the spatulas performed the same flipping some bugers as well as pancakes, but there is the perfect amount of flex in the blade of the turners to get up under the food with no problem. They cleaned off well, and zero issues in the dishwasher. I will say though that the whisk, can opener, and the tongs are much lesser quality than the rest of this set, and they feel VERY loose, especially compared to similar ones from other brands, and the cutting wheel on the can opener is not on properly and actually hits the drive cog on one side. They are all still quite usable, but I question their durability and how long they will last, while the rest of this set will last a very long time. The scissors are really sharp and cut well too. The meat smasher and measuring cups/spoons are all hard plastic, not silicone, as they are not for high heat use, and they held up well in the dishwasher too with no warping or shrinkage. I definitely recommend this set.
