Works great to restore faded plastic car trim. Still remains looking new about a year later. Hint - If doing a large area, while still very wet within a minute, you can sacrifice a microfiber cloth and wipe the area to prevent streaking and smooth out. Once it starts to dry, leave it alone, as it gets sticky before completely drying. Wipe off any that gets on paint, as you will notice it once dried and is difficult to remove.

Works great, but make sure you don't get any on painted areas as it will leave a residue, they mention that in the instructions. Prep work was easy and you get plenty of wipes to do the job. Makes a noticeable difference on older trim, if your plastic is looking gray and hazy give this a try.

Kinda disappointed because it dries out even in the individual packs. So you can’t really “save” the extras for any substantial amount of time. I had the 10 pack and I used 8 and I just went to use the last 2 to touch it up after a little over a year and they are dried out and unusable. So I still gave it 5 stars because it works well and lasts decently, but I wanted to let everyone they can’t expect to keep them for any decent length of time. Use it or lose it.

Used on my 2021 Soul X-line Pros: Complete kit with vinyl gloves Each packet tears open easily (10 per box) Product goes on and spreads easily with very little to no drips or runs (have a microfiber towel in case of drip when using it first time) Each wipe can cover about 50% of trim on average vehicle ( I used two on mine and it has more trim than average Soul) Dries quickly and evenly (I let mine set for about 6 hrs to cure properly before driving that evening) Deep satin finish will refreshen old trim Haven't needed to reapply for months Cons: Pricey but worth it for quality and ease of use Slightly strong odor so make sure to use it with garage door open or in driveway outside I definitely recommend trying it. Will be doing fiancé's older Tacoma work truck with remaining pacts to push the products abilities to restore the black finish and see how long it will last. I strongly believe in trying this out.

I'm generally pretty skeptical of most products that claim they improve the look of faded plastic as they are always just temporary and come off in a matter of weeks or after your first car wash. But since this is ceramic coating it actually seems to be permanent. That said you need to be quite careful when applying it and follow all the instructions. Use gloves with this stuff as it definitely smells like it would be hazardous to have on your skin. I was sure to wash my car and then clean off all the plastic pieces I wanted to treat with isopropyl alcohol to remove any grease or chemicals that were left on the plastic. My Ford Bronco isn't that old but I could tell the plastic was already starting to fade and there is quite a bit of it on the car so I wanted to pre treat it. A few months in it looks amazing. I've gone off roading, gotten paint on some of the fenders, and wash the car at least 30 times and the plastic pieces still look new. The coating is still very much intact and Wicks away most dirt and debris. I even sadly drove over some wet paint in the road and it was almost impossible to get off the areas I didn't treat but the ones that did literally just wiped right off after it had already dried. Recommend this product but you need to make sure you use it properly and follow the instructions otherwise you will not get the results you want. I will say all the plastic on the new Bronco seems to be very porous and texturized so maybe it absorbed the product really well. I have not used it on any smooth plastic so I can't speak to that.

The bumper and bed trim on my ‘11 SilveRADo was drying up iand turning gray. Not anymore thanks to Cerakote Trim Repair, it looks and feels brand new, no lie! This stuff is amazing! Highly recommend this product. They also have some helpful YT videos on how to apply. I even sent my Dad some for his ‘05 SilveRADo.

Followed the instructions exactly, took no shortcuts. One headlight was almost yellow, the other had been replaced in the past. I had used many other kits on old yellow, in the past, but it was not showing any signs of being useable any longer. Priced new ones but gave it one more chance with this kit. It came out much better than I expected, very pleased with the results. It will take some time to see how long the finished product holds up to the elements, but for now it looks great.

Meh. It works ok. Definitely does not last like they claim, 200 washes?? More like 10-15. I bought it and applied to my Rivian R1S at the end of November and applied a few weeks later. It is winter so I know I haven’t washed my car 200 times and already it is pealing off in places. Allow it looks even worse. It is like I have stains on my trim in stead of just fading. I can’t recommend this product. Very disappointed because of the cost and the company behind it. I expected more. update: Contacted and they offered a full refund under their 200 wash guarantee. They stated "Based on what I see, it looks like the vehicle's trim did not require restoration and may be rejecting any residual substances still off-gassing from the trim. Our Trim Coat Restoration kit is specifically designed to restore faded or sun-damaged trim while also providing protection. It is not intended to be used solely as a protective coating. When used outside of its intended purpose, it can result in an undesirable aesthetic finish, such as cloudiness and streaking." While I can say my car wasn't as bad as some of the before and after videos, I also didn't want to wait until it was at that level before I fixed it.

I did lots of homework on YouTube before I bought this product. It’s very easy to apply but I did clean all the plastic with alcohol before application. Very good results. Even spread and looks like a satin finish. Have enclosed before and after shots. The only thing was it didn’t fix these ‘white spots’ in the plastic (refer to pic). Maybe my expectations were too high. But still happy with overall outcome. Time will tell. NOTE - a lot of comments say it smells a lot. Well it sorta smells but in the driveway - not a big issue. Also, buy a pair of gloves to apply.
