As a journalist, I tend to read bad reviews before I read good reviews because I know many good reviews are paid for. I can usually read between the lines on bad reviews if someone is really not happy with the product or if they're just mad with the delivery service and blaming the product. So, when I researched and reviewed many brands of countertop mini-dishwashers, I was hesitant. And I was unfamiliar with the brand Comfee. So I researched literally for months. The majority of the reviews were pretty good, I must say, very few complaints. Most negative reviews sounded like ppl who didn't understand how it worked. There is a small learning curve but the Comfee manual clearly explains all the how to's, do's and don'ts. It is well packed in its box and very heavy. Perhaps a big guy can lift it to the counter alone but in my case, it took two women to place it on the counter. As it states, it is small, good for a 2 place setting if you pack it right. But I've washed small pans and pan covers, among the dishes, and all came out well. It's important to note that it does have upper and lower rotors so be careful not to pack things too high or let silverware or handles fall through the silverware rack. The tray on which dishes are placed rolls easily in and out of the machine so you can let it dry out in your sink while wiping down the interior after a wash. The model I chose really doesn't have a drying portion so I let it sit for about 1/2 hour after wash is complete and then open the door and let the rest air dry. I have only needed to use it twice a week, enough that I don't need to do dishes manually anymore, which is fantastic. So far, it has done a higher than expected awesome job at cleaning everything. No spots, no lines, no streaks. It is also remarkably quiet. I have used only the manual wash where you pour the water into it via a top filter. Comfee provides the pitcher and a scoop so the water goes right in, about 3 gallons. A buzzer rings when it's full so you don't have to guess or worry about overspill. Then I use the drain hose provided to drain the water right into my sink. This was the key reason for this purchase. I didn't want to hook anything up to my faucet as it would be too big a pain to attach and detach for each wash. This feature makes it very portable too like for an RV. Biggest advice, read the instructions. Comfee makes it very clear on use, cleaning, things to do in which order, one of the best manuals I've every seen. I have a very small kitchen and even less counter space so this was perfect for my counter. Those who have seen it have fallen in love with it. The model I purchased has a fruit cleaner but does not supply a colander so I bought an itty bitty one on Amazon. It also has short wash, long wash, and a couple of other options. I strongly suggest that after each wash, say before bed, leave the door open to air out. Wipe down the inside walls and floor but a good airing certainly helps too. It does have a little removable filter on the floor that is supposed to capture any food left on plates. However, I rinse all my dishes and silverware before I put anything in the Comfee as I don't want to take the risk of something clogging up the machine. I take the filter out once a week and wipe it clean anyway and dry up any water left over so it doesn't get moldy or attract bugs. This Comfee model was $300 on Amazon but like most things I just put it in my cart and waited for a sale. Amazon notifies you when things in your cart are discounted or go on sale. Finally, after a couple of months, Amazon had a sale and Comfee was offering $40 off so it ended up costing about $200. Even though I've used it only about a dozen times so far... it has been worth every penny, less work, more time for other stuff., and far less dishwater hands and fingers. I wish I had a complaint but so far so good. I am delightfully surprised and happy with this purchase. If anything changes or it breaks down after a few months, I'll be back to let you know.

This little dishwasher is really something. I was skeptical about it at first, thinking there was no way something so small have not only the power to wash but dry and sanitize. So here's my rundown: The Pros: 1. It's small. It's less than the width of a microwave, but slightly taller, just about as deep. It will fit almost anywhere. Just less than 18 inches high, I found it could fit on a side counter between the fridge and sink itself, or under cabinets next to the sink. 2. Dual filling means that you can either add hot water to the machine yourself or if your sink has a removable aerator, you can use the included faucet hose to connect (make sure you REALLY snap the hose to adapter well) your existing hot water to the machine and never worry about filling again. 3. Has a removable silverwear tray, removable dish rack with fold down dish holding arms, and a removable metal mesh and fine particle filter for easy inside cleaning of the machine (yes, its plastic inside so that means grease and oils that dish soap hasn't fully broken down may stick to the plastic) can be removed and manually cleaned daily or weekly depending how often you do dishes. 4. It is INEXPENSIVE. At about $300 the machine more than pays for itself in that it can be used even in the smallest of New York apartments, college dorms or shared housing, apartments and homes in urban areas that were built before dishwashers, or simply you just want a machine that can give your dishes a heat cycle to sanitize them, this really is a steal of a deal. 5. It really cleans! Yep, it has two spinning water arms, one on the top and one on the bottom and the water is pressurized so it comes out as a spray. Not as strong as large dishwashers, so you don't have to worry about dishes flying out of the rack or anything like that, but the water spray will totally remove food from dishes. There either is a water heater or it is very efficient with its use of water and hot drying element because it also has a sanitization cycle that washes baby bottles. And it does dry VERY well. The Cons: 1. It wont clean extremely caked on food or dishes that have any mold. As in it will wash them like a dishwasher, but it does not have the same temperature settings over 200F nor the extra pressure like a full size dishwasher has. When I say it cleans, I mean, you put your dishes in it the same day and wash them. Overnight will be fine, but it won't get days old dishes clean as well. You may have to pre-wash or double wash. 2. Its all plastic. It might claim to be 40-50lbs but it certainly feels more like 25-30lbs. It doesn't feel "cheap" but it also doesn't feel like it would last more than a few moves. It might last a few years even if used daily but not moved around too much. The plastic inside also means at some point you WILL have to use a degreaser soap (Dawn, Sunlight, etc) to manually clean the inside of any caked on grease or food. It's not that big of a deal, but if it was metal it would be slightly less slick and greasy. 3. LONG dishwashing cycle for the C1 Hygiene, Regular, Glasses type cycles. We are talking over 2 hours each. The difference is 10-20 minutes and the temperature of the drying cycle. There is a rapid cycle that is 40 minutes but lacks any drying cycle so your dishes will still be wet. So this really is one of those machines you gotta maximize your loads and time, overnight loads are great with a heat cycle. 4. Large items WILL NOT FIT. Full size plates are hit or miss. You might fit them in but the upper spin arm may not spin even if they do fit. The medium size plates and bowls and regular size glasses all fit fine. Not really tall containers or water bottles. No pots and pans or lids either. This is okay though because these items really should be washed by hand anyway. I have so far done about 6 washes over 2 days with the machine and I will say that I'm quite impressed with it. Would definitely recommend to those who are in the market for something small and basic but has features and options and can fit in their homespace or lifestyle. I will also say, make sure you use dishwasher soap that is either powder or tablet as these seem to dissolve slower than liquid so it stays sudsy and has the gritty particles in the water that help scrub plates better than the liquid versions or the included liquid version of Finish. Get the small 96 count Finish tablets, those fit perfect, not too much soap not too little. Make sure to use the hottest water you can either filling manually or by hose. If by hose, run the water to hot prior to reconnecting the hose. Make sure your drain hose is DOWN and has no upward slopes. The pressure to drain is good, but no one likes a backup. Enjoy your life changing mini dishwasher!

Last purchased on 4 Sep 2021 Stopped working February 2025 Like a similar post made by someone else. The lifetime is about 4 years. The product is ideal though for its size. We needed a countertop dishwasher in our upstairs mini kitchen during covid, when things we're difficult to wash. We couldn't get the plumber to come in and connect the pipes. We needed one which just would work with water and electricity. This was our best option. We luckily had a sink counter we could fit this next to and so the dirty water can drain out easily into the sink. This neat little dishwasher served its purpose. To be completely honest, no one in the family expected it to do the job successfully. Every now and then, we would get one dish with pasta and cheese stuck to it but, upon washing the dish ourselves, we realised it's just a stubborn stain we have to was off manually. From glasses, cups, bowls, plates and even small pans, utensils, forks, spoons, knives etc. we have tried almost everything. It's a spin washer upside and down. Just in case the pictures aren't clear. The sound is reasonable, not obnoxiously loud. It has a delicate option for delicate glassware where it starts and pauses every 10 seconds. It also has different modes. If I can recall, after each wash it opens the lid automatically and starts a steam function from it's remaining water and then turns off automatically. This way we get the dishes clean and dry. Well some deep bowls may still have water in it depending on the shape of the bowls. Recommendations: Use regular dishwasher tablets. Place them in between the forks and spoons, so they will last longer and slowly break apart. Use dishwasher salt after every 4 washes at least and put 2 tablespoons directly into the drain cap inside the dishwasher. Don'ts: Do not wash flimsy plastic in the dishwasher. From our experience, the hot air steamer/dryer at the end will semi melt or misshape the plastic. Overall, for a lifespan of 4 years I am happy with the purchase for it's price. And, since the last one was great, we'd be ordering our second one soon.

¡Pues no!

Nada estorbosa.

This thing is great, would definitely say check one out if your limited on space and or need a dishwasher that has a reservoir. Does a decent amount of dishes for two people. Super happy with my purchase. It has been used regularly and still is continued to be used on a regular basis. Fits my full size plates and small cutting boards. Easy to understand and use with the reservoir or the sink attachment and crazy easy to set up.

Click to play video It's a cute machine but... because it uses soo little water, what I forgot completely is of that 5L of water, it uses that to both wash and rinse. I think I'll either dilute the Gel to 50/50 or buy generic powder which is harder to find. Or return the machine. It's cute but I need something a bit more comprehensive. Plus the Quick cycle even with the Air Fresh option turned on and left overnight, the dishes are still wet in the morning. I have learned to place all cups in on an angle or else the divot side of the bottom of the cups will hold water when it finishes any cycle including the long 2:40hr cycle. **Update** I ended up keeping the machine. Sure it has its limitations and I finally figured out how little x2 Cascade gel to use (just 1 drop for quick wash or 2 drops for normal wash. 3 drops for C1 program). The internal cavity is just 11 inches deep from the back wall to the glass door. The width is a bit better at 13.75" wide. The tallest item we can put in the tray is 10.25" and any taller and it will prevent the upper arm from spinning. But I have even removed the rack to place an item directly on the bottom where the water is collected and recycled during wash cycles. I have a kettle style air oven and I hate washing that big kettle bowl by hand. So by removing the rack I was able to fit my air oven bowl in and have it power washed. The downsides of this machine is it won't remove water stains from boiled water pots. But it did removed stuck on fried bits off the air oven racks. Overtime I am getting a good sense of what this can do and can't do and I am glad I kept it. The top water arm is practically useless as it doesn't spray so much. It's more like sprinkles water around. Oh and in conclusion, the pouring of water in each time after me using it 50+ times to date... that is getting old and I found I ended up using their water hose at first to load the machine, but ended up purchasing a longer hose as their supply hose is a basic 48" plastic hose. I replaced it with a stainless steel wound 72" supply line and added a two part splitter from my faucet. I had to buy a new higher spout to fit this extra fitting and I found a neat Z attachment to the spout/filter end to give me more versatility. P.s. pre-rinse Spaghetti sauce pots and plates before putting them in. They will stain the interior cabinet up to the water line. Mine now has a permanent redish stain about 3/4 of an inch high along the bottom. That is the water line and no amount of extra Gel or Pod or even dishwasher cleaner tablets will remove that redish stain. Lesson learned.
