I recently tried the Carroten Intensive Tanning Gel, and I have to say, I’m pretty impressed! It worked really fast—I started noticing a nice deep tan right away . The gel has a pleasant smell, which is a bonus because some tanning products can be overwhelming. I love that it's non-greasy and water-resistant, making it perfect for a day at the beach. One of the things I appreciate the most is the blend of carrot and coconut oil. It feels nice on the skin and keeps me feeling moisturized and hydrated thanks to the added Vitamin A and E. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tanning gel if you’re looking for a quick and effective way to get your tan without feeling sticky or greasy. Thumbs up from me!

My teenager talked me into this purchase and im glad she did. Yes I was pale, no i shouldn't have used it on a carribean cruise, but YES, it really works. I used sunscreen first, then this and got TAN, just a smidgen burnt, but hey, that's expected from me. You don't have to use much, so its a good value. The only weird thing is the inside bottom of the jar is tilted. Kind of makes you think youre getting more than youre actually getting.

I actually really like the scent of Carroten—it has a tropical, beachy smell that reminds me of tanning lotions, but in a good way. I was initially worried it might have a plasticky chemical scent like someone else mentioned, and I knew what they meant when I first peeled the seal off, but it does not smell like that on. One of the biggest pros for me was how moisturizing it was. My skin tends to be naturally dry, and this product kept it feeling soft and hydrated. I reapplied it about three times throughout the day and used around five teaspoons in total. I spent about four hours outside by the pool, moving between sun and shade, and I did end up getting sunburned. The packaging does note that it doesn't contain SPF, so that’s something to keep in mind. As for whether it made me more tan, it’s hard to say—I might have tanned the same without it—but I did like the texture. The butter gel consistency is a nice middle ground between a lotion and an oil. Lotions usually absorb too quickly for my liking, and oils can be too messy. This was just right. One downside is that it did transfer onto the resort towels and my cover-up. I’m not sure yet if it will stain, but I’m hoping it washes out. Still, that’s not a huge deal to me. Overall, I enjoyed using it and would likely use it again—just with a separate sunscreen for protection.

Carroten is like sunshine in a bottle—if sunshine also made your skin glow like a bronzed goddess in two hours flat. I was honestly skeptical, but this oil-cream hybrid delivered a golden tan and serious hydration without feeling greasy. I would give this stuff five stars...but I'm terrified to. I'm a person who tans pretty easily, and once I get going for the season, I DON'T burn. I thought I'd give this stuff a try to kick-start the season. This photo is of me after applying the gel (which has a lovely smell and consistency, by the way) and lying in the sun for about 20 minutes. So yeah, IT WORKS. But maybe too well?? Maybe I should have started the season with my normal routine of gradually increasing my sun exposure before using this stuff. And then once I was out of the burn zone, I could use it. I might try that once this burn heals.

WORKS SO QUICK! I naturally tan pretty quick, with this it's even faster. After being out of the sun all winter i went out to tan for ONE day (two hours or so in a UV of 7)! I added a picture for the results. They speak for themselves! The only issue is it doesn't include any spf protection, don't skimp out on using spf it's really dangerous to use this without it. You'll get sunburnt quick.

First time ever using product and I'm pleased to say that I'm very happy with the product. It's very hard for me to get a tan and with this tanning gel that I've only used twice for an hour each, Im starting to build a light tan and hopefully a little darker in the near future. I do burn a little but a day or 2 later with some aloe and moisturizer I'm ready to go for another day out in the sun! BTW a lot of products don't work for me due to my complexion (white very white) and this is the first to ever help build a base tan! Well worth the try and buy!
