This kettle is useful because it quickly heats up water. You can see and hear the water boiling, and when the water's boiling rapidly it shuts off automatically. It is easy to use, the plastic handle protects my hand from the heat. I think this device is well designed. It is very easy to fill up the kettle and put it on its base where it will heat up water. You can tell when you start it up because the blue light comes on.

Normally I'd never buy something like this, thinking it was frivolous when I have a microwave. However, after using a friend's electric kettle I decided to buy this. After 1 and 1/2 years this little kettle is still going strong, heating water WAY more quickly than it has any right to, and is one of my favorite kitchen items. I use it for hot beverages and instant oatmeal, mostly, and use it at least several times a week. It's very simple and 'just works'. Being able to get boiling hot water in just a few minutes is SO incredibly convenient.

The removable lid makes filling and cleaning simple—no weird angles or struggles. It heats water quickly, which is a lifesaver on busy mornings, and the 360° swivel base makes it easy to lift and pour from any direction. The LED indicator lights are a nice touch, letting me know exactly when it’s ready without having to check constantly. If I had to point out a couple of minor flaws, I’d say the removable lid could be more convenient as a flip-top, and it’s a little noisy while boiling. But honestly, neither of these issues is a dealbreaker. Overall, it’s a reliable, well-designed kettle that I’m happy to use every day.

We bought this electric kettle to replace another that made the most obscenely LOUD beeping every time a button was pressed, temperature was reached, or the water carafe was replaced on the base. This unit is wonderfully silent, and it is left to you, the tea- or coffee-making user, to notice when the water is ready. There is no temperature selection on this machine. It simply heats the water with a pleasing blue light illuminating the carafe until it reaches a rather impressive, furious boil, at which point there is a barely audible 'click' and the light goes out, indicating to the attentive user that the water is ready to use. The last thing I want to hear first thing in the morning is an annoying electronic 'beep', but this unit is mercifully quiet. Watching the bubbles reach a fever pitch in a soft blue glow is frankly mesmerizing, and the most entertaining thing I can think of in those foggy early moments upon rising for the day.

I’ve used this for awhile now and absolutely love it. It boils quite quickly, so making a cup of tea is so easy, somehow it just seems faster than the traditional kettle you put in the stove. In fact, I find that my family uses this much more than we ever did our regular kettle. Cleaning is simple. The top flips open wide enough to fit under the fridge water dispenser, so it fills easily from my fridge for filtered water or the sink. I was concerned initially from reviews of electric kettles shattering, but this has been problem free to date. I’ve even put milk in it, to make hot cocoa bombs, but that did leave marks on the stainless steel bottom for whatever reason. The marks came out with vinegar, so good as new. The only thing I dislike is that the center piece of the top can pop out if you’re tipping kettle too far over trying to empty, but once you k ow this (from having it pop off) it’s easy to avoid happening. It does not have a temperature control like some models, just a simple switch in the handle to turn on and heat water to boiling. The blue ambient light is a cute touch.

Works well. Love the shape just wish the lid can open entirely for better cleaning. I do not care much about the light at the bottom wish they have an option to turn it off. I use the infuser a lot so it does work well. Pay attention to puting the infuser on correctly it's more of a slide to the slit and do not bend or squeeze.
