I received this Chefman immersion blender today. There was a bit of damage to the box--it was simply shipped in its box; no outer packaging. However, the Chefman immersion blender was not damaged. I was immediately impressed with the tool. The handle/motor is ergonomic and comfortable to hold and it is smooth and rubberized. When you plug it in, the speed dial glows blue and the numbers on it are thus easy to read. This unit has a plastic housing over the blender blades (the head) and I purchased this specifically for this feature in order to not scratch the ceramic pot in the Ninja Foodi and other kitchen pans. I needed to use it to make broccoli cheese-asparagus soup using my Ninja Foodi pressure cooker. The soup that I made pretty much filled up the 6.5 qt pot. When it came time to use the immersion blender, it made quick work out of it and is powerful. I've never used an immersion blender before, and if the "head" of the tool gets near the bottom of the pot, it causes suction and I found I had to release the power button (turning it off) to get it off the bottom of the pot. So I'll need to learn more about using it. After cleanup, I can state that the Chefman immersion blender did NOT scratch the Ninji Foodi ceramic pot. So, as of now, I’m very satisfied.

This immersion blender works great. I like the plastic head that does not scratch pans. It has several speeds but I can’t imagine needing more than the lowest setting. In fact the only criticism I have is that there isn’t a lower speed.

I've been using this immersion blender for a couple of years now when I make various kinds of soup that needs blending such as potato or carrot. It's powerful and does the job well. I have no complaints and I'm glad I bought it.

We have had this product for over a year. It has been a reliable small blender in our kitchen over that time. It is well-designed with a strong motor and excellent grip. But it has a fatal engineering flaw, not uncommon in many modern products. We just discovered it recently. I’m sure you will recognize this problem. The device relies on 2 plastic tabs to work, and they are small tabs. They both snapped off, and now the blender will not work. The blender consists of a hand-held motor and a detachable “business-end” that contains the blending blade. This part has a locking-unlocking feature that allows it to be attached, or unattached for cleaning. The 2 small tabs wore away over a year, and now we have a defunct device. WTF?? Why design an efficient device that depends on 2 inefficient plastic tabs? It’s such a shameful waste of a good machine that can only become landfill after one short year of service. We have a kitchen stove that was built in the 1940’s, and is still working and serviceable. We are REALLY disappointed by this product.

This item has so many kitchen uses . I use mine a lot for the large no.10 cans of whole Italian Roma tomatoes . I had my fresh basil and garlic cloves right to the large can and blend till my choice of smoothness for my sauce on sundays ! So easy to clean it takes seconds and stores very easy . Every kitchen should have one of these

I chose well! Here's my take: After doing lots of research, I landed on this Chefman Immersion Blender. This blender matches my needs + style. It's very comfortable to handle, safe to use, and I love that it has so many speeds (12). I use this to blend soups; chickpeas for hummus; yogurts, and more. It's so smooth no matter the ingredients. Besides its incredibly easy usability, it is easy to clean, too. You can hand clean this blender, or chuck the detachable piece (with the blade) in the dishwasher. Extra plus: this immersion blender is easy to store. It takes up very little space. Being my first (and only) immersion blender, I haven't found any downsides of it yet. This truly is a gem! Basically, it's like a magic wand of the kitchen. Go with this blender!

I ordered the 12 Speed CHEFMAN 300-Watt Turbo Immersion Blender in Amazon-reported "Used/Like New" condition. It was a great price, and I was very impressed initially by what seems to be excellent, heavy-duty quality. Listed as having dimensions of 2"DX2"WX15L", the 2" dimension was a critical requirement as my need is for a replacement hand blender that has a blade guard narrow enough to fit into the wide mouth thermos that I use for blending my bulletproof coffee. A hand blender with a plastic/scratch resistant blade guard is also a requirement in my case. Problems: 1.) Contrary to the listed dimensions, the blade guard is more than 2.5" wide. As a result, I cannot use it in my thermos as needed. 2.) Otherwise impressed by the quality, I decided to test it in a wider container before making my decision as to whether or not keep it (again, the price was excellent). Unfortunately, after blending hot coffee, the blender would not stand up straight. I looked closely and then noticed a significant crack on the blade guard's collar (where it connects to the shaft). Is this just a freak one-time defect? Or is this the sign of a material/design/quality flaw that will be a problem for others? Was the crack pre-existing, or did it develop the one time that I tested the hand blender? Perhaps the cracked plastic blade guard is a sign that it cannot handle heat? I don't know the answers, but I'm returning this defective hand blender whose dimensions were not listed accurately. It's a pity because I am otherwise impressed by its quality (it otherwise seems to be an excellent heavy-duty immersion blender).

I have arthritis now, so I cannot lift the pot or full cups to pour soup into a blender, so I need to blend directly in to the pot. This blender is perfect, it blended the mushrooms for my soup & I had the speed options to leave some mushrooms whole. it plugs directly into the stove outlet & can go into my deep pot. I could not be happier!!!

Es un buen batidor, tiene potencia y silencioso. El único detalle es que la iluminación de la perilla para seleccionar la potencia permanece encendido mientras se encuentra conectado a la corriente eléctrica, hace necesario desconectarlo. Tenía otro equipo con muchos accesorios pero realmente solo usaba el batidor, este equipo no te hace comprar nada adicional. Buen precio.

I had a Chefman immersion blender before and the attachment seized up (after several years of use) so I thought I’d upgrade to a little better one. The old one had 2 speeds, this one has loads! For my uses I keep it down below 5, just making smoothies, but I can see uses for the other speeds. It has a very powerful motor and with the blade attachment, it makes little work of the ice I put in the smoothies. Love it and would recommend it.
