Review of Chuckit! Ultra Tumbler Dog Fetch Toy The advertised pictures are an accurate depiction. I bought this for my two rescued fur grandchildren for Christmas 2024. My daughter rescued these German Shepherds a while after we lost my soulmate, her first fur son. Ruger (saddle GSD) especially loves toys, mostly balls. Karma (White GSD) likes toys and balls okay but has her one favorite ball. Our experience with Chuckit balls has been outstanding. GSDs are powerful chewers, but this brand of balls holds up well. I liked that this ball is quite unique. It does not have a squeaker, but I wish it did. It does roll around, but obviously not in the typical round ball fashion. When tossed or rolled, its odd shape causes it to quickly change direction. Both of the dogs will enjoy this unique toy. This ball will spend less time under the couch due to the odd shape. It will bounce, but just not like a normal round ball.

This is one of my dogs favorite toys. Whether it is a kid or myself throwing it, with the design, you are never sure which direction it will bounce. We have purchased these since she was a puppy (all most 4 now) and she gets excited when a new one comes in the mail. I love this whole line. With it being orange, she (working dog) has to use her nose instead of sight to find it. (most of the time). These are very durable, do not chew up easily and are a perfect size.

Toy is great for dogs that love to chase balls, the shape causes the ball to bounce in different directions making it more challenging for the dog to chase.

Please understand our dogs are obsessive power destroyers. Especially when they are together it seems to be a competition to see who can destroy the toy first. We have only had long term success with classic style kongs. Our local store had a black Friday sale on the large size round Chuckit Ultra Ball, gave it a try and was greatly surprised. The ultra BALL withstands power chomping with the back teeth as well as them trying to "peel" the blue and orange layers apart with their front teeth. The problem with the round ball is they keep loosing it when it rolls under the couch. I saw the TUMBLER online and figured it would not be as likley to roll which is correct. It has a delightful bounce that the dogs love but unfortunately only lasted about half an hour before it got holes and tears. Even though it says "ultra" I could tell right away the material is thinner and softer than the ultra ball. Light and medium chewer dogs would have a blast with the TUMBLER but if you have a power chewer get the ultra BALL. Great toy for playing fetch just not so good for heavy chewing.

My dog has destroyed every toy we ever gave her. Shes dismantled rope balls, tennis balls and hard plastic chew toys. This silly wacky bouncing ball is her favorite. And she hasn’t made a dent in it. If she ever finds a way to destroy it, I’ll buy anoth

Our dog loved this (11 mo, 77 lb shepherd/bloodhound puppy). She liked the erratic bouncing more than a fully spherical ball when we'd throw it. Unfortunately, it didn't quite last three full weeks before she ripped a hole in it and started to pull it apart.

Our doggo is a large GSD, he shreads normal balls in no time. This brand has lasted a lot longer than other brands even though he eventually punctured the ball. Punctured the ball after around 3 months, was still usable for 2 more months. He also likes chasing this ball as it's unpredictable at times, we are happy with it as well because the unusual shape makes it very unlikely that it will accidently get stuck in his throat. A little expensive but recommended.

my 18 month old Lab loves it, I have to limit his time with it, he is absolutely besotted by this ball and how it bounces unpredictably.
