The cartridge inserts easily into the beatbox pro and work great. The water was crystal clear and sparkling after using. I received a free kit with my Amazon beatbox pro purchase but these will be expensive to replace. Two recommendations to beatbox - 1) add a window so you can tell how much clarifier is left. 2) change this to a refillable cartridge or make as a refillable part of the beatbox vs a cartridge. Due to the ease of use and great quality, I will probably purchase again.

It is obviously a little money maker but it isn’t necessary.

I'm a recent owner of the BeatBot iSkim Ultra. While the robot is great, I don't find the additional feature of automatic clarify dispensing to be a big labor or time saver, especially at these prices. This kit includes two clarifier cartridges, each of which contains about 10oz of clarifier. That works out to about $2 an ounce for clarifier while you can purchase high quality clarifier in larger bottles for under $0.50 an ounce. Each cartridge is good for four dispenses and they tell you to use it all in a month, so you're looking at a two month supply assuming you use the robot's dispense cycle once a week. I've been using clarifier for years and I'm a believer in it's advantages. This clarifier appears to work fine but doesn't leave my pool as blue as my other brand. Dispensing clarifier by hand is about a 1 minute job so I don't feel it's necessary to get the robot to do it for me at these prices. It's neat to hear the iSkim say, "Dispensing started/completed" and watch the little blue liquid come out of it's back but is it really saving me time or making life better? No, not really. It takes more time to open and change out these cartridges than it does to pour in some clarifier from a big bottle. I agree with other reviews that it would be more cost effective and ecological if BeatBot had just provided a refillable tank and some option to support major brands of clarifier as these little "inkjet" cartridges just feel like a money making consumable added on to the robot.
