My desk chair isn't the greatest and I sometimes feel lower back pain when sitting for a few hours at a time, so I bought this seat pad and am so glad I did! It adds a bit of height, which i notice helps my posture, and the gel cushion feels so nice and supportive to my hips and tailbone. When I use this seat pad, I no longer feel pain in my lower back. It's nice and large, my boyfriend and I both use it, and I even sit cross-legged on it on my chair sometimes, and it's very comfortable! It hasn't flattened at all and we've had if for almost an entire year; when you're done using it, it always puffs back up to original size and is nice and firm for next time. It's about 2'' thick which is perfect for me.

It's a supportive and comfortable product. However, it is not squishy, wobbly or "plush" in any way. It is also on the small side. I am 5'6 160 and am slightly too big for it, but its still nice. Just needs some time to settle when I sit down.

My wife has lower spine problems and this cushion allows her to sit with a lot more comfort. She can't walk very far and the electric carts at stores such as CostCo are not very comfortable. We take this cushion in with us and it allows her to shop a lot longer than without it. We have one in the house and one in the car. It is a bit bulky but it works much better than anything else we have found.

Click to play video I’ve been using the ComfiLife Gel Enhanced Seat Cushion for 10 days now, mainly to help with some ongoing hip pain while working at my desk for extended periods. Here’s my experience so far: Comfort & Firmness: The cushion is definitely firm, which I find to be a plus when it comes to providing support for long hours of sitting. It offers a solid base and helps distribute my weight more evenly, which alleviates just a little bit of the discomfort I tend to feel from prolonged sitting. The gel-enhanced layer is comfortable, giving it a bit of a soft, yet supportive feel that doesn’t compress too much under my weight. Pain Relief: As for how much it’s helped with my hip pain, I’m a bit on the fence. While the cushion is comfortable, and I do feel a bit more supported than when sitting directly on my chair, I’m not entirely convinced it’s making a noticeable impact on my pain levels. I haven’t seen a significant reduction in hip discomfort just yet, but I’ll continue to give it time and see if there’s any long-term improvement. It might be more beneficial for someone who has mild discomfort, but for more severe pain, I haven’t felt a huge difference. Fabric & Grip: One downside I’ve noticed is that the fabric on the cushion is a little slippery. While it doesn’t slide around drastically, it’s not as grippy as I would have hoped, especially when I shift or adjust my sitting position throughout the day. It requires a little adjustment here and there to keep it in place. The material is soft, but it might not stay in place as well as I’d prefer on a chair without a non-slip surface. Overall: All in all, this cushion has been a solid addition to my desk chair. It’s firm and provides decent comfort, but I’m still unsure if it’s making a big impact on my hip pain. The slippery fabric could be improved, but it’s not a deal-breaker. If you’re looking for a cushion for general comfort and support, I would recommend it. However, if you’re specifically looking for something to alleviate pain, it might not be the miracle solution you’re hoping for.

For a painful tailbone this is the only cushion out of 4 brands that really helped me. Would be nice to have colours or prints for cover. I would like to buy just the cover too because the cushion is very durable.

Eu comprei já umas 3 ou 4 almofadas, e essa é com certeza a melhor. É mais cara que a média das outras que tem por aí, mas vale cada centavo. Melhor isso do que gastar com pomadas, massagens etc. Minhas dores já melhoraram com 1 semana de uso. Sem exagero. O material se adapta muito bem ao formato do seu corpo após alguns minutos de uso, e volta ao formato normal dela após algumas horas. Ela é superconfortável, e não é muito mole e nem muito dura. Parece um pouco aqueles travesseiros Nasa, mas um pouco mais firme. O tecido da capa protetora também é bem gostoso e macio ao toque, e não esquenta muito. Enfim, achei a melhor, e com certeza comprarei mais. Tenho 1 no escritório, e vou comprar uma para casa e uma para a minha Noiva, que também adorou.

I tried different cushions and this seems to have the best support due to the gel padding. Others have unsupported foam which does not support well. The gel padding also provides a cooling effect which is a pleasant feature I did not expect. In terms of back pain, it does the job by preventing pressure on your back.
