My last icemaker died, so I bought this on to replace it. Its quieter and quicker than my old one. I love the color. It brightens my kitchen. This one is small, lightweight, and I will use it daily, year round. I can recommend this icemaker to anyone. Dont let the price make you think it wont work as well as its more expensive competition. It does the same job for less money, and Im happy I bought it. Ill buy another without reservation.

The ice maker on my frig quit this is a good substitute. However, the ice is 'soft', has lots of air and the cubes are small so they melt quicker, but I do like the machine. I can now make ice as needed and I feel this form of ice making is cleaner as I can clean the machine when desired rather than water standing in tubing over the years that can ultimately allow bacteria to grow. I will no longer buy refrigerators with water dispensers for that very reason.

This is a nice little machine. BUT...there is NO WAY it can make as much ice as they claim. I bought it because I am a true ICE JUNKIE. I eat ice from a huge tumbler It really can't keep up with me But I have had it for quite a while It runs GREAT and makes the PERFECT EATING ICE but it comes out WET because it melts in the basket while it waits for you to empty it out All in all, So far it's a GREAT LITTLE ICE MAKER. ITS MY LITTLE BUDDY!!!

Our refrigerator is on the fritz. The ice machine broke and the parts no longer made. So we bought this in hopes it would solve the problem with the ice. Used it a few times and got a handful of ice. It takes much longer than the manual says. There is no refrigeration so if you miss it the ice mets and the process continues. If you just need a little ice the. You are golden! If you need more for lots of people .....pass on this.

Great fast option for camping if you have electric hookup or a generator while boondocking. Creates a lot of ice fast, you can get about 1/2 Gal. of water in it and you have to empty ice bucket a few times before you refill.

Just received this icemaker today I decided Buy this icemaker in yellow and have turquoise and yellow in my kitchen. I did not read the reviews first I was just looking at the color. Makes ice cubes within 6 minutes very quick. I was actually surprised. When the bucket was full, I just left it and I figured if I didn't use any ice, then it would just stay like that until I did use some. However, all of a sudden it came back on and I didn't know why, but I realize the ice cubes were starting to melt so when the ice cubes start to melt, it will reuse that water and keep the supply of ice going. Pretty cool if you ask me. I decided let the machine run and put the ice cubes in a Ziploc bag for now and put them in my freezer, A container might be a better option. This way, I will have extra extra ice and if I turn the machine on, it's very very quick to make more. The machine will hold 2 bottles of 500 mL of water & i wont be using tap water. Just personal preference. Sorry for the long video. I did notice that if you move the icemaker around depending on how it's sitting, it would be less noise so I may get a small rubber mat for it to sit on and then it wouldn't be so noisy. All in all, I think this is a great little machine. I'm very glad that I bought it.

We bought this to use in our trailer. The fridge doesn't have an ice maker and bagged ice takes up too much room. Once we park at our camp site and plug in for power, this is the first thing that gets turned on! We leave it to run pretty much all day. If it fills with ice, it stops making it automatically, and as the ice melts because you're not using any, it creates room for more. The machine will use the water from the melted ice to make more. It will tell you if it is full or if it needs more water. The only problem is that the ice is made in a bullet shape and the walls are quite thin. As a result, it melts fairly quickly once it's put into warm liquid. It is a lot better than losing half of a small freezer to bagged ice or ice trays, though.

With no indicator lights. Don't know whether it's on or off. None of the indicator lights work.. After 15 mijutes of pushing buttons blindly, it started to make ice. No light to indicate size of cubes, or when full or low on water.
