This is only the second book by Mr. Sparks and it lifted my spirits as I read through the masterpiece. "The Notebook" was a wonderful book, but this was even better. What true talent in seeing the superb plot and character development ! For time well spent read this book.

If you read anything this year, this is the book to read. Captivating, sadness, love, grief, and in the end it makes you believe that miracles are real, and win over all the evils of life. I only wish the story went on, although you can finish the story with your imagination. A MUST READ!!

As with all Nicholas Sparks' books, the writing was so fluid. The book read like a charm, words flowing like music. I liked the story and how the characters came together. I know that for a lot of reader Bible references might have been too much, but to me as an Atheist, it was not a bother at all. It just gave me a different perspective and in fact made me even pause to think of how realistic that is to have a person who would actually live nowadays following those principles and beliefs. I did enjoy the book and have no regrets picking it up.

Nicholas Sparks is back to his complex story telling, with deeply defined character development. The story will hold your attention from beginning to end. My only complaint, it ended far too soon

I read a lot and normally do not write reviews, but this story is so well written and moving I just had to say something … Nicholas Sparks is an excellent writer and wonderful story teller. I look forward to a second read of his work and probably many more!

Typical sparks. Brings you to tears then lifts your spirits. One of Sparks best. One to reread again and again.

I have read all of Nicholas Sparks books and have loved most of them. This one did not disappoint! This is a sweet story of love, loss and finding family that you never knew you needed. Well wroth reading!

I loved this story— especially the character, Jasper. As with all Nicholas Sparks books, there was a sweet love story as well. It was a quick read and kept me reading the whole time.

Loved how 2 connected stories came together. When there seemed to be no positivity after so much loss, the power of God is immense. Couldn’t put the book down! Love Nicholas Spark’s books! This one is exceptional! Highly recommended!

This book is Nicholas Sparks at his best. If you won’t a book that that make you feel happy, sad and worm. This is a book for you.

Again another wonderful story from Nicholas Sparks. What can I say but he never fails to deliver a wonderful story. I can’t wait for the film. Like all his books they have depth and meaning and you can’t stop reading until the end. I await another one with excitement. I truly hope that His home in North Carolina hasn’t been affected by the hurricane and his town and people are ok.

Tanner, Jasper and Kaitlyn draw together in a story of love and disappointment, and through it all there is hope built. Thanks Nicholas for such a wonderful story again.
