Bought this to keep my Tea warm. I have a Keurig K2.0 Thermal Carafe (Old Model) stainless steel with a broken top lock lid. I bought this to replace the Keurig. I have my first pot of tea in it. It hold more than the Keurig. This is a test to see how long it keeps my tea hot. One thing is that I can not get my hand through the opening to clean it. The Keurig has a much wider top opening for easier cleaning. So far I like it very much. Also this product has a replacement lid available.

Nothing beats a great cup of coffee, especially when you really need a cup! I’ve been using this coffee maker for over 10 years now without a problem, but I just decided to get a second carafe so that it’s easier to make a second fresh pot if you have company.

Edited to remove one star from my original review (below). We've been using this carafe for less than a year, and recently it started leaking around the lid when we poured coffee. Upon examination I could see that the rubber gasket had separated or stretched and wasn't fitting snugly in the lid anymore. I suppose the heat from the carafe and coffee caused this problem, since we never put our coffee pot in the dishwasher. I looked on the Cuisinart website and on Amazon but the gasket can't be bought separately. This replacement lid fits perfectly on our carafe, and has stopped the leaking problem. I'm a little peeved that the original gasket didn't last longer than it did, but at least the replacement lid is available. Original review: I've been afraid of breaking the glass pot that came with our coffeemaker, especially after reading so many reviews saying the glass is thin and fragile. I was going to order a second pot to keep in reserve until I saw these 10-cup stainless carafes and read in some reviews that they fit 12-cup Cuisinart coffeemakers. I thought it was worth a try, seeing if it fit mine. And I love the idea of it being unbreakable and double insulated. Mine arrived today, and I ran 10 cups of water through the coffeemaker to test it out. I'm happy to say that it works perfectly, and I wish this carafe had been part of our original coffeemaker! It didn't drip when I poured, as some people have reported. I'm very happy to have a "permanent" pot to fit our coffeemaker - I'll keep it for the unhappy day I break the glass one. The replacement glass pots are almost the same price as this unbreakable one, so I'm thrilled that I found it. I wonder why Cuisinart doesn't list this as a replacement for some of their other coffeemakers. Could it be that having us buy replacement glass ones adds to their profits? Hmmmm. I'm spreading the word.

I decided to get this carafe after breaking two glass types prior. I love my coffee maker and it was relatively new so purchasing this carafe which was almost half of what my actual coffee maker cost me irked me a bit, but would solve my constant glass breaking issue. It is not that easy to clean, I solved it by using a bottle brush to clean it, but the top is narrow and a typical sponge cannot make it though the top easily. What I do love about this is it's durability. It's built like a tank. In addition, the coffee I make stays warm for HOURS after my coffee maker shuts off, that's pretty awesome. All in all, it is expensive, but also a quality carafe which will not need to be replaced unless something pretty catastrophic happens to it. Happy coffee drinking folks - some of you may be dead inside, but stay caffeinated my friends!

My husband makes our coffee each morning but gets up a few hours before me so this seemed like a good way to keep the coffee warm until I wake up. Based on measurements provided in the description here I wasn’t 100% sure that this would fit my 12 cup coffee Cuisinart coffee maker but it is the exact right fit and works perfectly. It does keep the coffee warmer than the old glass, coffee pot and was a good purchase.

Great replacement for my 14 cup glass carafe that came with my 3200c model. The glass carafe lasted me almost 2 years and would of bought another one if I haven't found this alternative. It fits well and works great, keeps coffee hot. No complaints here.

Perfect fit to replace broken carafe. I use it and was concerned about leaving on the hot plate for an hour. I just set the Coffee maker to shut off 2 minutes after brewing and no longer a concern. Keeps Coffee pretty warm for about 2 hours without that burnt taste. Pours a little on the slow side but I don't mind it. Also, hard to get the last 1/2 cup with out unscrewing the top off. Nevertheless, I highly recommend.
