This is well sized for my 3 person family Could easily handle 6 person dinner prep.. Easy to operate. Separate disks for different tasks. Makes short work of latkes, shredded cheese, paper thin slices of fennel or cucumber. I personally love coleslaw and can create large bowlful of crunchy veggies and combine with my easy dressing. I made chocolate torte recently and was able to grind almonds into proper texture without making almond flour. You get the picture. Easy to clean. I add drops of kitchen liquid soap to quarter to half filled water in larger mixer bowl, quick zap and generally simply rinse and dry. Or can be loaded into upper rack of DW. I am going to add an extra bowl so i can whip egg whites for torte w/o washing bowl of almond crumbs. Great little machine.

It does a very nice job at chopping nuts in pesto. It is more quiet ans less bulky compared to my older food processor. I also like that the shredded carrots are not too fin. On the down side, storing the blades or the disc's is a dangerous business, having some sort of snap on protector would have been nice.

I purchased a brand-new Cuisinart that was still in the box, so someone must have received it as a gift, so it was still brand-new and I got it for a little more than half price. My husband accidentally dropped my beloved Cuisinart and both the work bowl and feeder tube shattered. It was actually less expensive to purchase a new complete Cuisinart that purchase the two shattered items separately. I really got a deal!
