I really like this skillet. I have not tried putting it in the dishwasher yet because all food washes off easily and I have found that hand washing it has been very fast. It has a nice weight and is large enough for most of my needs. So far there has been no discoloration of the heat contact side. The non-stick interior seems very high quality and unlikely to peel. The price is definitely right. I own many brands of cookware - CIA, All-Clad, Emeril (original version not made by T-Fall), Scanpan, Swiss Diamond, Chantel, lots of LeCreuset enameled cast iron, several Lodge Cast Iron pans and some copper clad Kila Chef pans. This is the first low cost pan (besides the Lodge) that I have purchased in about 10 years and I am very surprised that it cooks as well as my more expensive pans. As my more expensive non-stick pans fail (one of my non-stick CIA skillets failed), I will replace them with this Cusinart Dishwasher Safe hard anodized cookware. Update: This pan within a year lost some of its non-stick character. However, this loss was no quicker than equivalent loss for my more expensive non-stick pans.

So I first met this pot while on vacation at a West Gate Resort in Orlando, Florida where I stayed for a week with my family. I usually make breakfast at the resort and have lunch and dinner out. The first time I used this pot I was in love. After using it for almost the entire week I wrote down the name and serial number because I knew my kitchen had to have it. Ordered it the day before I left the resort and received it a day after getting home. It's awesome! Truly non-stick. Cleans like a dream (No need for steel wool or harsh scrubbers which may damage). The handle stays cool to the touch even while cooking. Cooks eggs and meats very well. Absolutely recommend. I bought it in 2 sizes 10 inch and 12 inch. It's been a couple months and I am still very happy with this purchase!

First off, I have to say that anyone who has given this a negative review either didn't receive the same skillet I did or they have made very poor choices with it (rough use with metal spatulas, pouring water in it immediately after use etc..) I bought this skillet as a gift to mom on Christmas in 2011, and she literally uses it EVERY time she cooks on the stovetop, which is nearly every day/night. I have also used it many times, and I must say that I have never seen such a perfect and truly non-stick skillet. We fry rice in it and don't need to scrape anything out. Just tilt the skillet a little and 100% of of the rice slides right out without any help from a spatula. It's handled fried chicken, thick, boiling sauces and anything else you can think of that might normally stick, and no amount of scraping has ever been necessary for cleaning. There isn't much else I can say about this except that it performs exactly the way it's advertised. My mom wants a second one of these and would happily toss all of her pots and pans for a full set. I can't knowingly say that this skillet will last forever, but it's still as perfect as it was nearly a year and a half ago when it was new, so I can't imagine it ever losing it's non-stick properties, or at least not in the next few years. One thing I can't comment on is how the dishwasher might affect it. It doesn't fit in my mom's dishwasher, so it has always been washed by hand. Considering the success my mom has had, you may want to wash it by hand instead of using a dishwasher, just because that's never been a problem for us. And, of course, don't use metal cooking utensils when you can avoid it, and never submerge any hot pan in water unless it's your goal to destroy it.

This is my second time buying this skillet (this is a newer version of my last skillet). First one lasted about 10 years. Still worked great and was used almost every day. Replaced it because the non stick coating was too scratched from being stacked improperly and too many metal utensils. The helper handle is a great for transferring a full skillet to the oven or counter.

We bought this to add to our set of Cuisinart DSA pans. The set didn't come with the 12" and started finding that we needed something slightly bigger for those all in one skillet meals. Easy to clean, non-stick is amazing, heats up fast and holds heat fairly well. I also like the handle opposite the main handle for support when pouring or transporting as it can get heavy with food. It's not the best non-stick on the market, but for the price I would buy it again if this one wore out.

I've had this exact skillet, which originally was sold WITH a COVER. Over the last 12 years, I use it on a daily basis. It's getting kinda beat up and the glass lid's plastic knob handle finally fell apart into pieces. The reason I bought it again, is I especially like the extra grab handle opposite the long thin handle. This pan is HEFTY and with a lid even more so. It's solidly built with rivet's holding the handles to the pan. No screws or flimsy attachments. The extra grab handle is not found on many other 12" skillets and is very important to me. When you get older, you loose arm strength to be able to lift this hefty especially filled with WITH FOOD and moving it off the stove safely. Since I've been so happy with my old skillet it was a no brainer I bought this exact same one. However, I was very disappointed a lid wasn't included, or made available for purchase. But I found one that works. I'm still using the old skillet ..... but not for too much longer.

I bought these after purchasing a cooking set that was recommended by a consumer review site. I returned the original purchase and bought the Cuisinart brand instead....and very glad I did. The reviews on Amazon sold me on their performance after being in the dishwasher many times. When I cook eggs (the "acid test" for me) the food slides right off the pan without even using a spatula! My wife likes the light weight of the pans and I like how easy it is to clean them after dinner. :-)

Great pan and I love it because I can use metal on it
