Bought this so I did not have to dirty up the big processor for small cooking chores….very pleased…build quality is nice and it is powerful for such a small machine….in fact you have to be careful to not over process. Wife and I use it several times a week. Easy to clean and stays on the counter because it does not take up much room.

this is without a doubt the best food processor I've ever owned. Yes, it's on the pricey side, but everything about it is beautifully made, heavy duty, and perfectly fitted with no sloppy parts rattling around. High quality all the way around. I can shred a whole head of cabbage in just a couple of minutes. I've even used it to make ground meat. It's handles everything we've thrown at it, from making salad dressing to shredding cheese to grinding meat.

It does the job. I wanted something larger than my Black & Decker Handy Chopper Plus that I 've had for many years and this Cuisinart MCH-4 was my first try. So far it is blending fruit (banana, mandarin orange) with almond milk adequately to add to protein shakes and pureeing cottage cheese for a healthier queso dip. It is noisy but is not noticeably louder than my other chopper. It has a stable base and stays put during use but it does seem to take a little longer to do similar tasks compared to my ole one. While I have had it leak from the top, between the bowl and lid, it is minimal and rare and might be more about learning where the fill limit line is for different ingredients. Assembly and cleaning is simple and easy. The cord storage underneath is a nice touch and functions OK. I do like the compact size as I have limited countertop and cabinet space. While I am already debating buying a larger capacity chopper/grinder, I am using this one almost daily and cannot come up with any reason to not recommended it.

This Cuisinart Mini Chopper was a replacement for a previous model that I had for years. I found this newer one is the same great quality, with an improved lid. It's powerful, easy to clean and works quite well for small jobs.

I purchased the Cuisinart Core Series 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder in March 2024, hoping it would be a reliable kitchen companion. First Impressions The first few uses were satisfactory; the chopper/grinder efficiently handled basic tasks like chopping vegetables and blending dressings. Performance Issues However, my experience took a turn after about two months of use. I had used the chopper/grinder around eight times, primarily for making hummus and salad dressings. During my eighth use, while making hummus, the unit abruptly stopped working. After about a 10-minute break, I tried to restart the unit. It worked for approximately 20 seconds before stopping again. I had to transfer the partially processed ingredients to a blender to finish the recipe. I reached out to Cuisinart customer service. To their credit, they were responsive and sent me a replacement unit. Replacement Unit Woes Unfortunately, the replacement unit also proved disappointing. On its very first use, it stopped processing halfway through the ingredients. I waited another 10 minutes, after which the unit restarted, allowing me to finish the task. This pattern of stopping and starting made the experience incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. Customer Service While I appreciate Cuisinart's prompt response and willingness to send a replacement, the fundamental issue with the product's performance remained unresolved. The issue would appear to be due to overheating, but it never felt warm when it stopped working. Conclusion Given my experience, I would not recommend the Cuisinart Core Series 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder. Consistency and reliability are crucial for kitchen appliances, and this product fell short on both fronts. I got two months of use from the first unit and barely one use from the second unit...that's unacceptable for any appliance, let alone one from Cuisinart. For anyone considering a compact chopper/grinder, I would suggest looking into other options that offer better performance and reliability. That's what I am doing.

Super fast, light weight compared to old mixers, best bit of kitchen self indulgence ever. One fault - cooks beware! If you are mixing a recipe such as pastry where the flour and butter are mixed into crumbs before adding liquid, then add an extra 1/2 to 3/4 of a tablespoon of flour. As you mix with the lid on the flour distributes itself onto a lip at the top of the bowl and it's fiddly, irritating and time-consuming to brush it back into the bowl and incorporate it after the pastry is prepped. This is very important if you are making small quantities of pastry (or similar process recipe) eg using 4-6 oz of butter/8-10 oz flour. Might not matter for large quality recipes, but I always prep my pastry in small quantities for a finer finish.

This particular mini-chopper is a gem! It replaces a really old one I used to death! This model has a bit of a larger capacity that I find quite useful, and it has a feature that I love; the blade does not have to be removed to take the cup from the motor section. It locks easily and works great! I highly recommend!

We bought this product to save time with dinner preparation, but I also didn't want something too large and cumbersome - and this ended up working perfectly for us! We use it multiple times a week. It's very easy to use depending on whether I need vegetables to be cut coarsely or ginger/garlic to be minced fine. And after use, we can either easily hand wash it or put it through our high temp dish washer. The unit itself looks really attractive amongst all our other white and stainless steel appliances. My only complaint, is that I wish when the top cup was secured, the handle would be fixed at either the 3:00 or 9:00 position instead of 6:00 where it just looks a bit awkward. Very minor complaint for an otherwise perfect product.
