Was a gift for Jacob. He said it worked when restringing an acoustic guitar.

This does what it is advertised to do. Helped make restringing my guitar go quicker. No complaints.

I like the fact that it's an all in one tool so you don't have to spend time looking around for the tools. The string winder feels a little more ergonomical because of the handle and is very easy to use. The bridge pin puller is a plus compared to most once I figured out that you need a little more pressure to get it in place to grab the pins. The string cutter is basically worthless as I expected it to be. It cut the thick, low E string pretty well but all the rest would just bend instead of cut thus the 4 stars. But the other two functions are worth the price. I'd buy it again.

Honestly just a really nifty tool if you’re not using an automatic peg winder. Has everything you need for most string replacements. High quality and still works years later.

If you are a guitarist, you are aware that changing strings can be a time-consuming and laborious process. This all-in-one guitar tool by D'Addario is a compact and multifunctional device that has revolutionized the way I manage string changes. The tool simplifies the string change process, saves time, and eliminates the need for multiple tools. 🎸Functionality 1. String Winder: The string winder attachment operates smoothly and securely onto tuning pegs, enabling rapid and effortless winding. It is particularly beneficial for guitars with challenging or stiff tuners. 2. String Cutter: The integrated string cutter features sharp blades that produce clean and precise cuts with minimal effort. It eliminates the need for a separate wire cutter, saving time and space. 3. Bridge Pin Puller: The bridge pin puller is a standout feature for acoustic guitar players. It gently yet firmly grips the pins, allowing for effortless extraction without causing damage to the bridge. 🎸Portability The tool’s compact size makes it convenient to store in your guitar case or gig bag. Its lightweight design ensures minimal bulk without compromising durability. Pros ✅ Compact and Lightweight ✅ Multi-functional Design ✅ Smooth String Winder Cons ⛔️ None

Am very happy with this product! I was going to buy a mini-tool to replace my last one I kept in my guitar case, but for the same cost I bought this. Works well. I have to learn to use the winder part better. I do miss the needle nose I had on a pocket tool. So I just carry a separate one in my case.

If you play a lot of guitar and change a lot of strings sets like I do, this is a must have. This tool is very well built, which is expected from Diaddario, i’ve been using their strings for years and every set I’ve ever used this top notch so I knew this tool would be top-notch. I was right, very comfortable with multi functions all aboard in your hand. The cutters is one of the best things. It leaves a nice close cut to the tuning peg with no risk of cutting the string itself. I highly recommend.!!!

The cutter works fine. The winder was always a bit awkward, and eventually after a couple of years it broke. Yeah, I know because it was awkward. "learn to use it" I hear you say. I say "it was awkward". After it broke I made a nice wooden handle for winder part and it wasn't awkward anymore.

Acquisto fondamentale e azzeccatissimo.

Got a Lil worri3d when I saw the negative reviews but it works perfectly with the screw intact.
